I have been shopping at this store for years. It used to be constantly stocked with knowledgeable associates to help. Now most of the items that they claim to have in stock are NOT and when you try to find help most have no clue what they are doing. The management has gone so downhill they obviously could careless about the customers or the business. Sad to see this neighborhood store go so far downhill.
DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE FROM HERE! Inventory could say they have 900 in stock, you wait a day and they finally call and be like we only have 1 in stock. Then you are stuck waiting around for days for the website to finally give you your money back! This has happened every time I order online. This store has a major inventory control issue.
Love going to home depot. This time was able to get equipment for laying tile, knee pads, sponge, trowels, bucket etc.
Pretty much the standard HD experience. But, I have found although the staff here is very friendly they seem to be busy talking or looking at their phones more than helping customers🤔
The costumer service here is horrible. You can stand there and ask for someone to help and no one comes. I was trying to purchase a washer and dryer, waited for the lady to come, when she finally did she was helping other costumers ok, I understand. So I waited patiently, not even a word to me. Not even I will help you in a second. So I walked out, never coming back . I guess lm going to LOWES now on!
I specifically asked the girl on the phone if they could/would cut some wood... That I would be bringing it in... She said YES they would... I get there.. And they WILL NOT cut my wood bc I hadnt purchased it from their store... TOTAL waste of my time and gas.. Maybe they need to train their employees better.. 😡
I have been to several Home Depot stores looking to get blinds cut to a specific length. The Owings Mills location is the first one who had someone working in that section to assist me. Even though she was busy, Arlene (I believe that is her name), informed me she would be with me once she was done assisting others. I also may have told her the wrong measurements and had to come back to the store a second time. Again, the experience was just as pleasant when she cut the blinds for me a second time. Thanks!!!!
I was there buying a plant for my living room. The person assisting me with that was helpful and friendly and I was having a good experience there. But as soon as I got to the check out, there were a few employees who were just yelling and giving orders. For a monent I thought I was at a car impound lot. They gave orders like scan your stuffs here and put your things there! As I was walking out, one shouted dont forget your receipt! Like she was kicking her unwanted individuals out of her place and told them dont forget your belonging!In short, my buying experience was like at the Home Depot that I know. My check out experience was coparable to the getting the tolled car out of the impound lot.Some of the employees are confused about how to talk with their customers and how to talk with their nephews.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I experienced. Never going there again. Got cursed out and yelled out by a customer representative, all I asked for was help with the window blinds.If you already know what you want and where it is, you can go there. If you need help you’re better off at Lowes.
When visiting this store I never got good customer service. Two Sunday ago, I was in the store 12 bag of marble rocks and there was sitting on the garden area and I asked for help and was rude very rude to me. I went back to buy a bathtub spout and asked the young woman to help and she called someone to assist me and stayed in the plumbing hallway for 20 minutes and no one came and gave leave and to Lowe’s, I will never go to this Home Depot again.

Really poor customer service. I bought a piece of plywood here. Turns out, too big to fit in my SUV. Returned to the store to get it cut in half. After standing around in lumber for a few minutes by the saw with another customer, i asked an associate if we could get some to help on the saw for a quick cut. He does the intercom thing, asks for someone to come, 10 minutes later, still nothing. We then ask an associate walking by, and she tells us they don’t have anyone working in lumber. At all. Terrific.Fine. Figure i can just get two pieces of the same wood, will work it out at customer service. Original larger piece was around $47, they decide to charge me +$80 for the two pieces. I explain that they don’t have anyone that can cut the larger piece, and I don’t think it’s reasonable to basically charge me $30+ for a cut. The reps give me no other options and, frankly, couldn’t have cared less. I finally just returned all the wood and left.In addition, on my original purchase, i was buying a garden hose that was clearly labeled $32 on the shelf, cashier rings it up multiple times at $48. Ended up returning that as well. Good times.I get that times are hard and whatnot, but I’m a nice guy who is just trying to build a chicken coop here, and i was courteous to the staff while trying to figure this out (i did call the customer service reps useless at the end before walking out, but at that point, they kinda deserved it). At least make some sort of effort to work with me so i can give my birds a roof.I’m starting to think this might be the new norm, but i guess we’ll see how it goes at another store.
I waited about 15 mins to get a single board cut when asked they say they were busy stocking up i understand that as the day goes on you have to stock up but being on your phone and simple driving around the lift isn’t stocking up worst service every gotten from this home depot and i’ve been going to this one for years
Home Depots aisles were neat and orderly with most items fully stocked. I was in search of paint supplies and paint samples. The young man working at the paint station was well versed on which aisles held the supplies I needed. By the time I navigated the paint selection computer in the paint card area the young man was gone for the evening and the gentleman who worked there was all alone. He was meticulous but somewhat slow. It took me 40 minutes to pick all of my paint supplies and to find my paint cards. It took me an additional 40 minutes to wait in line then about 15 minutes to receive my paint samples. I will know to expect the wait the next time. All of the retrievals were accurate. They need assistance for the associate at the paint counter when it is busy.
I paid for a $3500 zero turn, rented the trailer got back to customer service and they were so rude I was left with no choice but to return everything right after purchasing. The worst Home Depot I’ve ever been in hands-down. Perfect example of what’s wrong with the youth of America. Take your money to Ace or Lowe’s. I will after today
Really great Home Depot. Lots of associates available to help, really friendly staff, never too too crowded, only positive things to say. That being said, the stock of certain things, like flooring, is somewhat limited. But thats why online shopping exists, they cant stock EVERYTHING in one place.
Covid protocol enforced and followed by employees and expected of customers alike.The staff are remarkable, extremely helpful and have patience. Ive been a walk in, curbside and delivery customer. I have not encountered any issues with either. I highly recommend the Owings Mills, MD location !

Need to buy supplies for your house, great with prices and quality of merchandise.
Found the merchandise that I needed but was unable to purchase because the whole aisle was closed for safety reasons. Asked a sales associate for assistance, but she doesnt know when the aisle will reopen and she didnt seem particularly interested in offering further assistance. Walked out immediately after that and purchased what I needed from Lowes.
Staff were fantastic and on the ball with assistance!!!! A+ experience with a well stocked store ☺️

Well I went there looking for a bike roof rack for my car, it was shown on their website that they had it in this specific store (Owings Mills) but it didn’t indicate whether they have it available, they just showed that they had it in stock, sadly not the case. In all not a very fruitful trip. They need to fix their app to show whether they have it in stock or not. Recommend calling before going to wander around.
Worth it every time for your every need for maintaining your home. I will never stop returning because there will never be a time that I won’t have an excuse to come by. There’s almost always something I need and my local Home Depot is the easiest place to get it. On rare occasion they may be out of stock or not have the exact item I’m looking for, but when that happens, I just find out which Home Depot location carries it.I had to sand and buff the tile floors in my home a couple months ago. I was able to get everything I needed here and got the job done within a few days. It was a lot of work, but that’s what this place is for.

I am in this Home Depot at least 3 times a month. I don’t always find what I need but I still prefer this Home Depot. I have always been able to get help, returning things is easy and I always take my dog with me. We have a blast always
This Owings Mills store is always so clean. I enjoyed shopping through all of the variety of Christmas decorations. I will be back again before the holiday is here.

I am thoroughly impressed by the level of customer service provided by Emanuel at the Owings Mills/ Garrison Home Depot. We were in the electrical section looking at supplies. Emanuel called for assistance for us over the intercom simply because he noticed that we looked confused and he could not stop while on the forklift. When he returned, still driving the forklift, he stopped and asked if we had been assisted. No one had come to assist us yet, so he said he would be right back. We watched him park the forklift after loading it with items. He had another associate wait by the forklift with orange warning flags until he returned. He assessed what we needed, cut the electrical wire and returned to the forklift. I was impressed because he stopped what he was doing to help a customer in need. He observed our confusion without waiting for us to ask for assistance. He also did it all with a friendly demeanor.Thank you Home Depot Owings Mills for making home improvement a little bit easier with associates like Emanuel. I will be returning many more times because that level of service is a gem!Thanks again!!!
Over the past couple years I have often found them to be out of stock on stuff. They were super helpful with a shower enclosure purchase that was missing a panel. Tool rental has always been good.
Ty in the Hardware department was great. I tried to find a part that was almost impossible to find. He spent more than 45 mins trying to help. He didnt just pass me along to another associate. He was great.

This location is easily the worst store Ive ever visited. I put in an online order and arrived at curbside to pick up the next day. I alerted them via the text message app and sat for 10 minute before calling customer service to let them know I was waiting. Customer service attempted to contact the service desk at this location and was put on hold not once but twice.After 20 more minutes I went in, while still on the phone with the CS rep, and found the item I ordered, bought via self checkout and was back in my car - she was still on hold. During my walk in to grab the item, the amount of employees standing around talking was astounding. There were two outside, the service desk was occupied by three employees standing around talking (same desk that had the rep on hold for 20 minutes) and two more walking around the flooring department together. Not offering any assistance to any of the individuals in the area.The customer service at this location is pure garbage.
Mr.Philip at the paint center was beyond helpful. My mom and I (inexperienced home improvers) came in looking for a paint for outdoor furniture. Mr. Philip without hesitation noticed we seemed a bit lost and was eager to help us find the perfect solution. Very grateful of his hard work.
I am a new home owner and my local HD is the one in Owings Mills.I love the store for it’s collection, location, availability of parking and friendly and helpful staff. I wanted pick some new home owner tools. I made two visits and both times, I was helped by TY. I received some fantastic customer service. During the first visit he gave me enough tips and advise which helped me to get some further research and decide on what I wanted and which brand,etc. And during my second time TY went out of his way to help me find an Impact drill driver which I thought wasn’t available in the inventory. He is a real asset to the company, a thorough professional and a very friendly gentleman. TY- Thank you so much for your help.

Awesome location with helpful and courteous workers that makes you want to build or repair something. Even go and cut the grass yourself. Prices are competitive to other places. Dont mind the travel to get the friendly service.

Visited flooring dept with intent to order carpet to be installed in 3 rooms, hallway and stairs in my home. Upon entering the dept, 2 sales associates were seated at the desk (a woman and a man) Neither of them spoke or offered assistance eventhough they looked directly at my daughter and I. We spent at least an hour looking through the different carpet samples but still no one offered assistance. They left the area before we left without saying anything. I decided Home Depot did not need my business so I plan to look elsewhere.
We got a good deal on washer and dryer.
This place is completely dedicated to customer service, very clean and all areas are safe and sanitized to keep customers and employees safe.
I like the pro desk staff at this location always professional and responsive!

Absolutely ridiculous, I was standing at the paint center for over 30 minutes. Employees walking past no one working the paint. 7:30 pm I left to drive all the way to another home depot for it would be quicker than waiting for someone to help. This is not just a problem with paint it is a continuous problem at this store in. I got to home depot at least 5 times a week to many location depending on the job and I will no longer shop at this location
Some how I made an order online and was notified before I picked the item up that it had been picked up. They continued to tell me that I had picked it up. Never going there again.

Id planned to purchase 20 6x8 vinyl fence panels but the website wont provide me with the inventory information and when I called the store location no one there could give me a straight up answer as to whether or not they could fill my order. I will be contacting corporate because I made an online purchase on July 7, 2020 for 20 of the dog eared pressure treated 6x8 wood panels and I was scheduled for delivery today. I was contacted just yesterday the 22nd and I was informed they never had the fence in stock and it was an issue with the inventory being updated online. UNACCEPTABLE!!! IM LIVID! Ive never had this problem before and sure Im aware of whats going on in the world but to call me the day before!!!! Please help me!

Went to get a 2 x 36 Stone Threshold, online stated they have 6 and I can pick up same day. Went to flooring the women looked on the shelf and told me we dount have any and did nothing further, literally walked away and helped someone else. Went to customer service, they checked and stated Randallstown had 6. I asked her can she call and verify. She hesitated and paused and looked at her screen and said they have 6 in stock again. I asked one more time since online also says Owings Mills has 6 but you dont. She calls and flooring stated they do not have any in stock. Calls Timonium and they keep hanging up.Waste of time, terrible customer service.
Worst customer service. Placed an online order and am going on four weeks for delivery. I asked if I could cancel through the store rather than call online since the wait time is over an hour, and he said that wouldnt be a problem. I called in today asking for that manager and was told by an associate that the manager I spoke with doesnt exist and that I would need to call the online customer service. So did he just make all this up then, including his name?
