It has been a very long time I had visited Joann fabric, and I am so glad I started to go back. my visit in the past was good, but since have started going back I was so please with the greeting. it was nice to enter the store and have someone greet me with a hello that felt genuine.

Really nice sales people, unfortunately they can only help you as much as you can help yourself. I dont know the make or model number of my machine. I hoping I have the correct name...DUH!

The store had a good amount of happy planner items in stock. The store has a variety of items fully in stock.. The employees greet you immediately as you walk in the store and throughout as you encounter them. The cashier volunteer to give to give me a better discount coupon on my items. I didnt know they still kept coupons behind the register. I may start coming to thus one instead of the newly renovated on in Columbia

I always find what Im looking for. Its a great place to find items to do crafts. Artificial flowers are very nice. Material to sew. Making pillows, they have the stuffings. Beads for jewelry, yes. Paints, nic nacks, whatever, its there. Easy store front parking. The lines for check out can be long, however I seem to go at the right timing to breeze through.

They don’t accept coupons and the lady is incredibly rude. The manager undermines her workers and she does her best to make you feel wrong. She’s the type that talks to you down and always is certain you are wrong and she is right. You can’t win for loosing. The store is dim. The lighting needs to be fixed. The store associates were not very friendly. Maybe the owner needs to go in whip this place into shape.

Staff is super friendly, especially the young lady with the blue/green hair. This is a smaller location, so they dont have all the odds and ends, however Im able to find what I need most of the time.

The formal fabric selection is to die for. I only wish I sewed or had some place to go. Lol. The store seems smaller than all the other locations in the area but they have all basic crafting needs. Lots of parking. However its close to a busy entrance so of the shopping center so getting in and out of the front spots are tricky. Park a little further and its all good.

Usually a big fan of JOANN stores, but this one is an older one, crowded and a really small yarn selection.

I was literally yelled at by an employee when I asked for clarification on confusing signage. Then another employee came over and rolled their eyes at me when I showed her the signs I was talking about. Six signs literally stated one price and the items were ringing up 10x higher so there should have been nothing wrong with me asking a question. I told the staff member who raised her voice at my I felt like she was being very confrontational and she did not stop berating me, then yelled to my husband that young lady went that way and directed him to the back of the store when I was clearly in the front and leaving. The whole thing was really weird. Completely inappropriate and I will never go here again. I dont need to feel attacked for asking a question.

The service is always friendly and helpful at this Owings Mills location. The store is clean, organized and relatively well stocked.

Im not an expert on Joann Fabrics. My wonderful wife is. I returned an item for her and the people in line were friendly. The young ladies that helped me were friendly. So overall it was great.

Once in a great while I will go into the store buy some fabric to do something manly like darken a window. All I did was ask her to make two cuts instead of one and they give me all this custom cut b*******. Im temporarily blind in one eye can you cut a brother a break? And she wasnt nice about it!

OMG!! There was so much to look at. I just wanted to buy everything. Store was very clean, staff was helpful. The young lady at was checking me out was extremely nice.

The fabric selection at this location is good, but the service is horrible; customer service is one of the most vital aspects of any business. I have observed the young women in huddles, discussing their cell phones, boyfriends, dates, children... all while customers appear to need assistance. The fabric cutting is often not properly cut. I have been on hold with a question, drove to the store and stood in line while still on hold. I showed the manager my phone with 47 minutes hold time and all she said was, okay how can I help you? This location needs customer service training quickly. Without it, I can see them going out of business soon.

I am not a huge consumer at craft stores and when I walk into this store I am overwhelmed with options. That helps me conclude that this must suit the crafter. So many products.

I didn’t even want to give this store 1 star. The were are VERY rude and they purposely leave the phone off of the receiver so they won’t receive calls. I understand there is a lot going on amidst COVID-19 but Joann’s should not advertise curbside pick up when all stores are not following the rules. The lines are very long which isn’t following social distancing guidelines! Just go to Michael’s right down the street from this location! Their curbside pick up was pleasant, easy, and quick! No long lines to get in the store either!

In this time of covid-19, take this opportunity to make something or teach your youngster(s) the fine art of sewing..

I love going into Joann fabrics ! There is so much inspiration I get from strolling through the store ! This location is a bit smaller then others, but still provide MANY beautiful fabric options ! I am never disappointed with my purchases ! I love the diversity of staff members, they always try there best absolute best to help me find what I am looking for ! Recently been a bit harder trying to get into the stores with there new limitations due to the Pandemic the entire world is experiencing ! however I will be back very soon ! So I want to thank this Joanns Team for staying opening and serving our community at this time !

Best locations to find fabric. I make dolls clothes and this is one of my go-to stores.

I always find what I need and don’t need at JoAnn’s. Everything is where it is suppose to be. The ladies behind the counter cutting fabric are always helpful and that is so greatly appreciated!

Update: I returned to the store a couple of days later and at checkout the person was already scanning discount coupons before I showed mine. So either they read my old review and changed or I had been there on an off day. Either way, the store was nicely stocked, well lit and organized.Original review: Nice store for crafts. Am miffed the check out person rejected coupon code for in store use because of it not having a barcode. After checking out I get a receipt with a coupon with a code without a barcode.

Curbside pickup is a joke. Ive made 3 separate trips out to this Joanns location to pick up an online order submitted by my wife over a week ago. All phone calls go directly to a busy signal, so curbside is impossible. The one time I did get through they couldnt find the order after we got a message saying it was ready. Really frustrated

There wasn’t anyone to help me find my items and the store is kind of run down. That being said, they have lots of stuff and tons of fabric to chose from.

Im torn on the rating because I could see tons of supplies for sewing and crafting. For me, however, I found precious little cross stitching supplies. Even the selection of floss was minimal. I went in empty-handed and left empty-handed. So probably a top rating for other crafters but a disappointing visit for me.

Needed fabric to have motocross pants repaired. Staff found a close match for me. Pleased with service. Wish they would create a small section for high performance/outdoor sporting apparel fabrics and repair.

Tried to order yarn for curbside pick up, it’s been over a week and they still haven’t filled my order. The employees are slow and rude in the store. I try my best not to ever use this store, but my normal store didn’t have my yarn in stock.

Went in for a few items, did not find latch hook kits but got everything else.

Staff are friendly and helpful. A lot of different fabric choices and an array of craft supplies.

I get so angry coming here. The store is short staffed & not very helpful. Its jam packed and hard to push a stroller through & Ive actually had a whole bolt of fabric fall of the top shelf & hit me in the head when I told a sales associate they brushed me off & threw the fabric in the middle of an aisle on the floor. I guess its good we have another one relatively close so I can stop coming to this one

The staff is nice, but all heck breaks loose on the weekends. The lines are crazy long to have fabric cut or to check out at the registers. I feel like they are *always* understaffed. I have had to put things back because the line was wrapped so far back before. Generally I check the fabric wait and grab a ticket(!!!) before even deciding to shop because the waits can get LONG. Great coupons on the mobile app and they just redid their rewards program so lots of extra bonus offers.

JoAnns coupons just burn my buttons. They have so many strings attached, you better sharpen your Fiskars. Great clearance on Christmas stuff though.

They have been closed at the most crucial time in the Covid. Now been back open for over a month & still have limited fabric . Much less than other locations.

The employees here are INCREDIBLY slow. Chitchatting leisurely while measuring fabrics at the slowest pace Ive ever seen anyone work. They also stop helping the customer in order to chat with each other. Most of my experience here was because of a woman named Barbara who wouldnt know what urgency was if it smacked her in the face. I left without buying what I was there for because it took 30 min for her to cut 10yds of ONE fabric and I had somewhere else to go that was time sensitive.Its a shame because the fabrics were on sale :(

DIY store and more with plenty of crafts and more. I bought my sewing machine there as well as the carrying case. I was able to complete all my sewing projects and was able to get some pointers to better do them. Free parking, handicap parking and restrooms inside.

Sale personnel not very helpful. In past week Ive patronized this store twice and attempted to obtain help for something different each time and was told its over there in that area. It seems also that perhaps theyre short on help. The rear of store was a mess. Items thrown about on the shelf and floor. Entry is full of debris from outside and cluttered with items. However; I did fine a substitute to use, but did not fine what was needed due to the unprofessional help.

One cashier, the line was long and they did not have a lot of stock in the baking aisle, I had to go across the street to hobby lobby

The Joann Fabrics in Owings Mills MD is absolutely trash. Its always a reck in there. Nothing is ever organized. Most of the staff has no idea how to help you. Ive had more customers help me than staff. There are two main employees who actually know what they are doing, and are very helpful. Most of the time I think about making the trip up to the JF in Bel Air MD because the selection, cleanliness, and staff is so much better. The only reason I give this place two stars, one for the two good employees and that they recently have been getting new and good fabrics.

Very rude staff at the pick up counter. When I asked about applying coupons, she replied very curtly that I made my purchase at a deal what more do I need? Firstly, I did not refer to my pick up purchase and secondly if the company policy allows me to use my coupon, why is it anybodys business to stop me! I will stay away from the store for sure!

Im surprised that this store is so unorganized. Nothing is never stocked. They need higher management to come in and turn that store around like the one on Columbia, MD. I was disappointed, dont waste your time because theyre not going to have what you need. Its a big junk pile.

I have been used Joann Fabrics for more years than I can count and they have always been so helpful. No matter what you want they will help find it. Couldnt be without them.

This is one of the better Jo Ann Fabrics locations in the Baltimore region. The store is a little small, but they pack in a lot of selection. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. If you can, I recommend making the trip down to the Columbia, MD location, but this one is a close second.

Regrouping hasnt n been completed from Christmas. I was looking for a wreath for my front door, but only Christmas decorations were in place.
