Safeway, always has what I need. There is a Giant nearby which never has what I need. Safeway is my choice now!

The store is always clean. The staff are unobtrusive but available when needed. The bakery items are absolutely delicious, convenient, and stand up to homemade. The meat department is great and if I cant find something there is always someone willing got check for me.

It was good I found everything I needed for a trip paper plates, snack containers for adults that had grapes cheese crackers with tuna and another with ham. Cup cakes and bag salad.

This store has greatly improved over the past few years. The last time I was here (in 2019) the store was a little disorganized and the produce was not as appealing. The store is much better now. The produce was very high quality, as I would expect from Safeway, and the store was very clean too. Their coupon policy has always been better than nearby Giant grocery stores. In 2019, when I visited this store a few times, I used many coupons and was even paid the overage. The next time I need groceries when Im in Owings Mills, I will make sure to come back to this store.

So I have frequented this Safeway for 1.5 years off and on. This store is nice, clean and usually has the items I am looking for. My only gripe with this place is the older black lady at self checkout. She never knows what she is doing, and seems like she is oblivious to what is going on around her. I have observed this lady watch an elderly women fall, and not even tend to her. Also, someone cut the self checkout line, and another customer had to intervene, while the self checkout attendant was standing right there. It is clear she seems tired, and maybe aged out of the position she currently has. Either way, she doesn’t seem like she is too attentive to customers or their needs. Other than that, this store is cool in my book.

$9.75 for a Mothers Day card. No flowers available to purchase. Nothing. Nada. They have a floral department and not one flower available to purchase .

I went to Safeway to get my flu shot and the pharmacist was a rude and very bossy person. I called to talk to manager and could not get anyone to talk to. Nothing friendly or professional about the Safeway at the Garrison Forest Plaza.

I noticed that every kale package didnt have a expiration date. I was on the go so I picked one up anyway and discovered upon opening it that it had a very foul odor. The odor was too much to bare. My boyfriend and I were trying to make a salad but threw it in the trash. This safeway is trying to have customers purchase expired kale. Employees are also rude and like to play around on their phones. They prefer not to do their jobs.

Very well stocked. Fresh meat and seafood. Has more items to choose from compared to box stores. The store was clean and the employees customer friendly. I just hope they continue to bring more stores in Baltimore county.

Ive been coming here a long time, as I work in another shop in the plaza. The only time anyone has been kind or even seemed like they noticed me in any way is at the Starbucks counter. One time I was quite literally standing next to an employee putting some items on a shelf, asked her where to find something in the store, and she didnt even look at me, let alone answer me. Nothing. A few days ago I bought 2 items with my co-worker. One wasnt scanning at the self check out (which is where basically everyone has to go to check out. Ive NEVER seen more than 2 registers open, and more times than not its 0). Anyway, the light was blinking and the lady helping over there just stared at me, making eye contact. So I just stood there wondering when shed take 4 steps away and finally come help me. She scanned her card and walked away finally. My item still didnt scan, and the same thing happened again. She just stared at my co-worker and I now, and my co worker had to walk up to her and say I still needed help. The employee didnt even acknowledge my co worker and continued to just stand there! She finally made it over to me, took my item and made it $1 (which wasnt the price) and she literally THREW it in a grocery bag and walked away. I also thanked her both times for helping me, even though she THREW my fragile snack in a bag, and of course she didnt acknowledge me at all. I almost asked for her name, but I know nothing would be done anyway when youre running a store where employees are allowed to act like that. This place has a decent selection of food but the employees are GARBAGE. I dont always like my job either, but I dont ignore customers and throw things they are about to purchase when they come in... absolutely unbelievable!!!!!!

The store is clean and well stocked....the employees just dont seem to want to be bothered with questions. I had to ask 3 employees for help. Answers I received were Its not my department, ask the service desk, and finally were out without even looking. Wegmans is just down the street.....just saying...

As a truck driver this store is the absolute worst!!The dock area has compost outside with food and liquids spilling from the bottom, before you know it theyll have Rats., the back room is a mess!! Never room to leave freight and, No help from management. Back room and dock area needs to be cleaned up immediately. The health department would have a feild day at this store.

The best fresh cut flowers in Owings Mills! They bloom beautifully and last for weeks. Save your florist $$$, grab a $2 vase from any thrift store, and build a boutique on your own!

I can never reach the pharmacists to call in my patients prescriptions. The pharmacists are completely unprofessional, I will nosed any more prescriptions to this pharmacy. I will recommend all my patients seek better care.

I like this safeway because its never crowed. The isles are nice and wide and the store exudes clean.

The Owings Mills Safeway store is clean and well organized. They have wipes at the store entrance to further clean the carts. Usually a good selection of paper towels and sanitizing wipes. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. Only gripe is they did not have Matzo ball soup which is a staple for the Jewish New Year.

Produce & shelves are well maintained. Checkout almost always bottlenecked. Poor Entry/Exit store setup. Pharmacy chronically not ready with scripts, will almost always make you come back in a few hours or days once requested.

Always have what I need . I frequent here more than wegmans . It’s not as crowded and much quicker

This has to be my favorite supermarket the place is always clean at least everytime Ive been there. Their prices are pretty much the same as all the other supermarkets. On Mondays they have a cooked chicken special 8 pcs for $4.99 baked or fried your choice and I hear there are other specials during the week. So if you havent shopped here yet check them out you just might like it as much as I do, see you in the store.

I was impressed with the butcher who was assisting an elderly man. He gave him top notch personalized attention for the cut of meat he wad looking for. He asked me if he could assist me as well. How refreshing! I wish I had asked for his name!

For the most part I usually like going here early in the morning when the cashiers actually care. Today was a different story! My cashier was not enforcing the social distancing rules which really irritated me. I refuse to believe it was because she was young - I really think that she just didnt care which is really sad & dangerous. Even after I politely asked her to ask the woman directly behind me to give me my space - her response I dont think she wants to be close to you! THE FLOOR IS CLEARLY MARKED & ITS THE EMPLOYEES RESPONSIBILITY TO ADHERE TO POLICIES AND PROCEDURES AND TO ENFORCE THEM - HARD STOP!! I will be going to Giants & tell everyone I know that shops at this Safeway Location that our safety is NOT IMPORTANT & TO SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Ive made several late-night runs (mostly for ice cream) and I always have the pleasure of a wonderful conversation with your cashier Dave. He was such a delight, and he genuinely made me laugh. Honestly, he made my day. His puns and jokes are always unexpected and hilarious. He 10/10 made my experience incredible. He deserves a raise

They are doing a really good job with keeping a lot of things in stock o found majority of the food I needed but I feel like they could do a lot better with social distancing at the registers and cleanliness. There are lines of tape on the floor but it has to be in forced on the customers because they aren’t paying attention. Also I think it’s important for them to change there gloves after ringing up each customer Because all they are doing is cross contaminating other ppl food.

Safeway products are way over priced. Some items are $2 to $3 higher than Giant. The reason I went to Safeway today is because I had a gift card.

Manager, Joe D, saw me searching and asked if he could help. He got from the bakery refrigerator the round corn bread I was looking for to take to a party. Also, recommended the deli cornbread. I appreciate the extra care he took in my shopping experience, today. I always find good sale prices at Safeway. Safeway has great donuts and bakery products, too.

Safeway is a great place for gift cards! I always go their for the best selection. Bakery also is pretty good and reasonable prices. As for shopping there on a regular basis, prices are just too high for me.

The staff has very limited knowledge on the product locations in the store.

Unhappy the carts whetenot available and you had to find the disinfect to whip the cart. Also returning the cart is not convenient location. I will not be shopping at Safeway.

I was here for money order at 3:30 pm. One cashier came to desk and told me that the service is available only after 4. I waited till 4 and went to desk for the money order service again. I was really shocked. This time there was manager standing there. He was very rude. He told me that they don’t provide money order service and told me to go to bank. I could see cashier being without any customer and still they refuse to provide desk service. My question is why do you guys open western union and money order service if you can’t? It would be better to close the service rather than being rude to customers.

This was one of my favorite markets to shop until the recent medical issues of MD. Once the shelves emptied it showed how unclean the market was operating. Do to the lack of inventory around. Ive began to look a little more closely at the markets I shop from.

They stock what I need. The brands that they carry are great. The check out lines are not long. And getting in and out of the parking lot is easy - unlike their competitors parking lot...

Their prices are RIDICULOUSLY high. Store needs a facelift. They are not prepared for what we are facing now with broken and inferior self service cash registers and limited staff. They need to either get it together or just close for good.

Love this place, especially the Starbucks at this location because its never as busy as the regular stores. This Safeway has easy to operate self check out so Ive never had to actually wait in line and if you look hard enough, youll find deals on almost anything. There was a 5 pack of Pentel glitter pens worth $7.99 on sale for $1.27 ... I bought like 8 packs for the cost of one, that was a really good find, Im glad I looked in the clearance aisle that day :):)

Pharmacy has recently gotten bad. Calls not being answered. Calls not returned after 3 days of leaving messages. Excuses that are just not acceptable. If the work load is too large for the current staff tell a manager and get more staff!

Clean market, usually well stocked. Unfortunately since the Wegmans opened (maybe even before) they tend to be short staffed at the resisters. Never more than 2 lines open at a time with no self-checkout option. I love playing their yearly Monopoly game and I always can find a good deal as a card holder.

Nice and clean market well lit easy to find what you are looking for. The prices are very reasonable for this location. I will be returning very soon. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
