Today I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Kristine K. the Director of the Customer Care team for American Pool, regarding a professional matter. In todays world where everything is expected to be fast and accurate amongst tensions foreign and familiar, it is overwhelmingly refreshing to listen and engage with someone like Kristine. She is receptive of information, she made me feel heard and understood and most of all she kept the experience that her team could provide at the forefront of her mind. She asked pertinent questions, resulting in answers that she could pass on to customers in a form of increased customer service engagement. It is individuals like Kristine that can make an impact of the lives of those in the workplace or those that she engages with on the phone. The kind of exceptional experience that I had in my brief conversation with her reflects an organization with high standards and potential to grow. The kind of lasting impression that she makes will stay with you and make you want to extend the same kind of positive experience to others.

I would beware of them. They have our current community contract and its been nothing but issues. No lifeguards, the lifeguards they assigned are rude, getting in altercations with the residences, blasting inappropriate music, having explicit phone calls on speaker, leaving their post, leaving the pool completely unattended, bringing their friends. Its been nothing but problems. I wouldnt recommend to anyone.

Id leave 0 stars if possible 😡 They are subcontracted by Washington DC/ Capitol KOA.  We came in 7/19/21 to stay 1 night. Our 17yr old and 13yr old wanted to swim while I grilled.  KOA policy is UNDER 12 REQUIRES SUPERVISION TO POOL AND RESTROOMS.  The lifeguard on duty said our son needed a parent and he specifically asked if their mother was coming.  They said no because I didnt need to be there per KOAs rules. He said that he required a parent for our son to swim but our daughter was fine to stay.  So my husband went down so our son could swim.  I received a text from my husband that said the lifeguard was too busy talking to the 2 women instead of watching the people in the pool. The lifeguard called break at 8:17pm. Another camper came down to the pool, put his things down, and jumped in. The lifeguard was so busy talking to the women that he didnt notice the guy until he jumped in. He then blew his whistle and told the guy its break. My kids and husband came back to our site. I told my husband that I was going to the office to say something.  I spoke to a KOA staff person and he told me that the subcontractors info should be located in the pool area.  I went to the pool area to get the info but could not find anything. I asked the lifeguard for the number to the company he works for and he refused to give it to me. He asked why I wanted it and I told him why. He said it was his companys policy to not allow anyone UNDER 18 to be in the pool without a parent.  YET HE SAID TO MY 17YR OLD DAUGHTER THAT SHE COULD SWIM JUST HER BROTHER COULD NOT WITHOUT A PARENT.  I told him that he sucks at his job and he was too busy talking to the women that were there instead of watching the pool, which is his job.  Another KOA worker was able to get the name of lifeguard, it is supposedly Jamie.  He has a slight Jamaican accent. I am appalled that he is going to use his companys policy as reason for why my son could not swim, yet he was going to allow my daughter to stay and swim, which goes AGAINST HIS COMPANYS POLICY!! We camp all across the US and have never came across such a disrespectful lifeguard.

The worst company, no organization, employees are treated totally disrespectful! Young people with no sense of direction on employment law. Scared tactics used to intimidate young people into not taking any getting lunch breaks.
