Im always happy to frequent local small business, particularly when theyre owned and operated by good people. Mike is good people -- helpful, friendly and simply the kind of business owner that makes one feel great in supporting. Convenience, price and selection here are all also on point. While not a huge store, the variety from low-end to high is well varied and if youre looking for something specific that they dont normally carry, Mike will gladly find and bring in, if possible. His wife and evening employee fill in the blanks during some hours and each are also delightful to deal with. While there are plenty of other liquor options nearby, Ive been 90% loyal (damn you Baltimore County Sunday laws) to Sams for many years and highly recommend if you appreciate feeling consistently valued as a customer.
