My original review disappeared so here’s a recap.This shop is great! They are a family owned business run by Dan. He’s hands down one of the most knowledgeable men in marine repair in the area and will give you options when it comes to your particular problem. Nick, the tech who works on my boat is very methodical in his approach to repair. He doesn’t just jump in but rather gets history on the boat to make the best possible repair. The office staff is friendly and very helpful even when you don’t know what you need. This business is service oriented. The best. Hands down.

Dan Wells and his team do a great job keeping our boat tuned up and protected/stored in the off season.

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!In April I was given the number to Oakland Marine. A friend said he was honest and good. I already knew I needed a motor, I asked if he had one for my boat, and sure enough he did. We discussed the price and, and the time it would take, and when I could bring it to him. He told me he was busy, and the earliest he could get me in would be June 1.I asked him if he could do it any sooner, that I needed it A.S.A.P I called weekly to confirm our appointment for June 1. If by chance he answered, he would tell me we were still on for June 1, or he would have the receptionist tell me we were still on.Well on June 1, guess what happened?! Yep, I called I asked when he wanted me to bring it and, he said....well I cant get to it until August or September, but if you wait, it will be cheaper. All you had to do is say I CANT get to it!!!! You couldnt tell me sooner?! NOT tell me on June 1! You are the most unprofessional, business/owner I have ever dealt with. Dan and family have always treated me well.

Picked up my boat on April 1st and I didnt get it back until the end of August. They guys are a joke a very bad joke! I wouldnt recommend them to Donald tRump!!! Stay away from these clowns - as far away as you can get!!!

The owner is super friendly and knows his stuff. They have fair prices and do their best to get things done in a timely fashion. I had starting issues at the launch on Friday night. One of their employees happened to be at the launch at the same time. He had no obligation to help me but stayed anyway for about 30 minutes trying to help me with my issue. I brought my boat into their shop before they opened the next morning and the owner helped me trouble shoot my issues right there on the spot. I would recommend Oakland Mobile Marine over and over.

Owner of the company is an absolute wizard in the trade! I wouldn’t second guess taking my boat anywhere else. Knowledge, experience, and execution is there moto!

Orion Marina is in Oxford so nobody gets confused they are the best marina for boat repair in the lake Orion Oxford area the owners and employees are very nice and knowledgeable Love boat products and Boots.
