Went to a competitor early in the morning (because they told me to be there at 8 am). Turns out competitor didn’t open until 11 and wasn’t taking any more appointments. Pulled into Oxford Tires, was greeted quickly and had truck in and out in less than an hour. Customer for life!!!! I had 2 front tires replaced and a high mileage oil change done. Excellent pricing!!

Got to them by accident. Staying in Oxford for doctor visit and I had a tire with a huge screw in it. One of the competitors didn’t help me. They barely acknowledged my presence and told me they couldn’t help me today. The competitor had ten bays and as many technicians. The guys and lady at Oxford Tire helped me right away. They had three bays all full and two waiting. Had me in and out in about fifteen minutes with a patch. Thanks for helping out an out of towner in a time of need.

Monday I purchased a set of tires from Walmart. Tuesday drove 500 miles from K.C. to Oxford, on our way to Panama City, FL. Wednesday woke up, checked tire pressures, left rear was low and saw a screw in it. Went to Walmart, they said they couldnt patch it, due to where the screw was located in the tread and that the patch would not hold. They said the tire needed to be replaced. Walmart did not have the tire and would not assist me by calling another Walmart to see if they had it. Happened to find Oxford Tire. These guys know tires! Great people! 45 minutes and $20.00 later, we were rolling down the highway. 6 days and 600 miles later, the tire has not lost an ounce of pressure. Sorry I did not go there first! Need new tires or a tire repaired, go see these guys! They can repair other issues too. I highly recommend Oxford Tire.

My boyfriend used oxford tire for many years and swore by this family owned business. They are just fine, however I think business growing has taken away from the down home service he was used to.

They are always nice and affordable. The wait time is usually quick but if it does take longer they will let you know before hand in case you need to leave the car to be picked up later. I always go to oxford tire. They have told me a few times if it doesnt need to be fixed why fix it lol.

We rented out Penske truck from here. It was a smooth process and pretty easy. There was little bit of a wait. Also when we were getting the moving blankets we rented, the worker cut one of the blankets when getting them out. Other than that, it was a pretty good place.

I brought my car in to get my front end aligned. While I was waiting, every person that I saw come in and out needed work done to their car - new parts, replace this, etc. This made me a little suspect, because this is a college town and its easy to take advantage of young people who dont know a lot about cars.While Im waiting, they start making a fuss with each other about parts for my car. I ask one of the mechanics what was going on, and he said, You need new parts or its going to fall off. They initially werent being clear about what they thought was wrong with my car, though they did have someone making calls trying to locate these parts they werent telling me about. I went to my car while it was up and even still the mechanics would not give me a straight answer as to what they claimed was wrong. Eventually I got one of the owners (I believe) to give me the list. Not surprisingly, one of the parts they wanted to replace was replaced by my own hands not but two months ago, so I know there was nothing wrong with it. They then quoted me a total of more than $400. I told them to bring my car down, and they still charged me fifteen bucks.Between the manhandling of the situation, the poor communication, ordering parts without asking me if I wanted them, not telling me what was wrong, and telling me to replace a practically new part, I dont recommend these guys under any circumstances, unless you want a few hundred dollars of new parts. Go somewhere else, anywhere else.

I was there on the 19th. I went in to get my head and tail lights fixed. The guy at the desk was very nice, they were very efficient and didnt cost me a lot of money. I also heard good things about them through my friends. I am highly satisfied with my visit.

My daughters boyfriend took her car there thinking the alternator was shot bc it still wouldnt crank after replacing the battery. My car wasnt starting on its own and by the description of it they thought it could be my starter, which to get it fixed was going to cost about 250. I called 2 other places in Oxford and both charged a little more, although still around the same price. I left it there and got a call a few hours later telling me that it was only a few loose cables to my battery. Total cost? $14!! Def. honest people here, I will continue going if I ever have any other car problems.

I am sorry to everyone that had a bad experience, but I took my car there for several years, until the transmission died on it, (Which they dont take care of and the other places are high.) but they always treated me well, if something did not have to be done they would tell me, and not even charge me for looking at it.

I had my car serviced by these guys last year. The price was average but not over the top. Not long after, I had to bring it back in because they did not tighten something all the way. They told me that, It must have loosened over the past month. Ok sure, that can happen and I left it at that. A few months later it loosened again and broke while I was driving. I brought the car in to them again and they took an EXTRA (a day longer than they first said) day to fix it. When I went in to pick up the car they told me that it would be nearly $100.00!! I HAD ALREADY PAID THEM FOR THIS SAME FIX!!! They charged me for the part AND labor AGAIN!! When I asked if there was a problem with the car (I didnt want this to keep happening) they said, Gee, it should not have done that with such few miles. They just charged me and then out the door I went. Nothing in the way of a check to see if there was indeed something causing the underlying problem. Just, Gimme my money and leave my shop so to speak.Obviously Im not going back... They should have done the RIGHT thing and fixed it for free this time since I had already paid for the work the first time!!

I thought that I had problems with my brakes. Oxford Tire Center assured me that nothing was wrong with my brakes. After taking my vehicle to a dealership, I learned that my brakes were failing. Clearly, Oxford Tire Center’s employee did not know what he was talking about.

Service is so bad at this place that they had to have paid someone to write a positive review!!! In fact, the only reason they even get one star is because thats the only way I can post a review. Our first problem occurred after we brought a car in to have the car checked for an oil light being on. They told us nothing was wrong; however, a few days later the engine blew. Looking back, it would not surprise me if they forgot to put oil in after they supposedly serviced it. I dont have time to explain all of the other problems as it would take hours. The conclusion is BEWARE because these guys are incompetent.

Dont take your car to Oxford Tire, they will leave you stranded. I took my girlfriends car there for them to replace the CV-axle, which they promised multiple times would be finished before they closed. They finally called to say that the car was done, which had taken the better part of 4 hours. The CV-axle fell out before my girlfriend could even pull onto the street. They then told her that she would have to come back tomorrow because they were closed. My girlfriend told the owner, Johnny Simmons, that she lived in Memphis, which is over an hour from Oxford. Johnny said, Well at least you are stuck in a great town, with plenty to do.So if you want to be stuck in a town that is great and has plenty of things to do while your car sits broken in the shop parking lot, then take your car to Oxford tire and they will meet all of your needs. You might even be dazzled with a fishing and hunting story while you wait.
