This store has gradually gone down hill over the last few years. The produce quality has gone way down. Which is funny considering the huge marketing push they have had on this. Most of the meat is packaged way to big. We have a family of 3 with this issue I cant imagine for the students. They claim their milk is supposed to be fresh at least 10 days. I have had multiple occasions where it was only 8 or 9. They always run out of whatever is the weekly sale. .

Excellent customer service. They do very good at keeping their shelves stocked, even with all the college kids. Great selection of alternative foods. Good organic section.

Basic Kroger with great customer service and incredibly clean. The isles are easy to understand while Walmart is a maze. There are always new renovations so sometimes things can become confusing for a day or two. Otherwise, the beat Kroger Ive been to

The butcher guy is super friendly and always willing to lend a hand or make a much needed recommendation. This Kroger has a good selection of organic meat and produce which my family and I value. The convenience factor here is high to avoid Hamilton.

Smaller store compared to others Ive shopped but everything was where it showed it to be which made it much quicker to get in & out but was out of items throughout the store with bare shelves. Must of been a great sale or scare$tactic!! Lol

I arrived 5 minutes before close of business to find the doors locked. An arriving overnight employee opened them and allowed me to enter. As I walked in, the csm informed me that they were closed and demanded that I leave. I asked if I could purchase a single gallon of milk, as I saw other customers in the store. She reiterated that they were closed and again asked me to leave. I complied.

The store is great, the employees are great, the selection and quality is great EXCEPT for the snow crab legs. Bought a few pounds during the last sale and they are EXTREMELY SALTY!!! Actually, they were so salty I couldn’t taste the crab meat. Please look into this issue as it’s never been like this before.

Yes...prices are cheaper at Walmart. But, the service is worth the small extra cost. The cashiers are familiar with my separate purchases for nursing home residents. They are extremely accommodating and patient. For years, Ive detoxed from a stressful day by clearance shopping at Kroger. Great deals!

This is possibly the nicest Kroger Ive ever been in. Very clean, well laid out, and HUGE. Staff has always been friendly to me here, and Ive always had a pleasant experience.

Mary at Oxford Kroger makes me come back everyday she is amazing at customer service. Just moved to the area from Harrison with my wife and child. I will keep coming back.

The pickup area is the absolute worst. They have cars line up 2 deep but dont instruct someone to pull up if the car in front of them leaves. Ive had to literally wait in a parking lot lane just to pull in. And dont even get me started on how slow the pick up is. This is my last time getting pick up from here because if I wanted to come to Kroger and sit here for a half hour or more, I would have just not ordered online and walked through the store myself. You really arent saving any time by ordering ahead at this location.

Great quality, their services is excellent they are always welcome to help you in anything you need. Meat, fish, vegetable, bakery, the food at the restaurant and the flowers are always fresh. Thank you Kroger.

Clean store, friendly staff, good selection of fresh produce, meat, and deli items... Krogers in Oxford is our go-to grocery store.

No the best grocery store in the world, but it does the job. Decent selection of food, and pretty close nearby to the University.

After a few years of turbulent function, this Kroger is starting to see some improvements. Back in 2016, the store saw a massive drop in quality that has recently seen some corrections in selection, cleanliness, and overall morale. Shopping in the morning is definitely the easiest and best time to do so as all the produce is freshly stocked. This Kroger has almost everything you need and a little more all at competitive prices.

As far as Kroger goes, this store is near the top. VERY BUSY at times, but the selection is excellent. I wish the south entrance/exit was larger. I have one MAJOR gripe about this store...STOP PACKING THE BAGS SO HEAVY!! It is NOT acceptable. I have an elderly mother who uses the outside pick up for her groceries, and one of the bags that was placed in her trunk today was every bit of 50lbs!! Shes a little woman with a very bad back. You cant possibly expect her to pick it up to carry into her home. Im sure the employees work hard, but please tell them to go easy on the customers.

Our Oxford Krogers is clean, friendly and efficient. I know people who have worked there for a long time, and all the employees are courteous and knowledgeable. The pharmacy is very prompt and personal as well. I really like our Krogers !

Sherry (I’m not sure if that’s her name) at the self-check section around 5:30 today was very professional despite a rude customer. She was very kind and helpful. Give her a raise!

I love shopping here..... I only wish they carried Kahns Garlic Bologna in the deli! I really like Boars Head but sometimes you just feel like an old fashioned bologna sandwich! I have to get my garlic bologna fix from the Kroger in the west side of Hamilton.

Very nice store. Friendly to all customers and always helpful. This is basically the only main grocery store in town so Im very happy that the employees and store itself is high quality.

Arrived at 6:15, which is, according to Google, the busiest time of day at this location and had to wait 20 minutes at the deli for the lone worker to handle the 6 people in line ahead of me. The other help had apparently been sent home early. I own a business and understand the challenges of appropriately staffing for busier times. This location should reassess deli staffing requirements.

I love my Krogers. I know a lot of the employees. And they treat me as family. Its fun joking around with them as they wait on me. I love the cheese bar. With cheeses from all over the world. And Debbie Powell knows everything about all of them. Shes great just ask her anything about them. Cashiers and very nice. I always get fresh seafood from the meat and seafood department. Michelle the manager is super nice. They are very accommodating at the front desk if you have a question or a problem with a product.

What can I say? The appearance of the store and employees depends on when the University is in session. The workers are great for the most part! I come from a larger city with a much larger Kroger Marketplace so Im a bit spoiled. I cannot say much about the hot deli, however, since most of the time the food is very dry and looks as though it has been sitting there for hours. When we asked if anything is fresh, they open a bag in front of you and put a new pan out (if you are lucky enough to get fresh food out of a bag). We were a bit shocked when we saw this and havent enjoyed the deli since. The workers at the hot deli look miserable, but the rest of the employees throughout the store are always very pleasant and go out of there way to assist you. The shelves are sometimes very bare, so the best time to go is very early in the morning, or later at night when they had a chance to re-stock. When the students are away the store looks to be from a rough neighborhood, parking lot always appears to be dirty with trash throughout, but when it is family weekend or when the students return it is beautiful! A paid critic I am not, just letting others who are not from around here know what to expect :) It is a very safe Kroger, workers are typically always willing to help you, and it is our store of choice when shopping for groceries.

The self check out lanes were all that were open and are always problomatic at best. Kept telling me to place item in bag after it was already placed in bag. Kept faulting out and had to have the woman scan her checker card to get it going again. They will never replace the human checker. Went in with a good mood came out with a bad

Wanted to try out a new Kroger and figured I would give Oxford Kroger a try. Its a big Kroger with a wide selection of different foods. Clean and good layout. I was thinking what a GREAT experience! Until I started my checkout. A young bagger named Samantha was practically throwing my food in the cart. Then when it came to 2 cases of pop, she refused to put them in the cart. I was taken back and baffled. When I asked why, she just ignored me. Im thinking she shouldnt be a bagger and needs to learn customer service skills! Hopefully better experience next time.

Pharmacy is slow and rude

Great place to buy what you need. Lots of organic food, drinks and products. A whole section with foreign products. It also has a Starbucks. The stuff are friendly and its facilities are really clean.

Kroger has been a staple of the Oxford community. They have wonderful people who work for them. Unfortunately the current management has missed the important things that made this Kroger what it was. Whoever is in charge of the decision making, when it comes to hours of operation, scheduling restocking, and customer service has dropped the ball. If Whole Foods or Walmart family market decided to come into town this Kroger would loose its customers because of the recent choices to close by 1am and desicion to block off and start stocking aisles at 9pm

Small town grocery with a reasonable diversity. Good fruits and veggies. Excellent breads and Boarshead meats.

This Oxford store is a mess. Multiple areas of store blocked off due to roof leaks and wet ceiling tiles. Not very sanitary for a grocery.The parking is also to small.Add to that my Deli hot lunch consisting of a cold meatloaf Patty, watery mashed potatoes and cold mac and cheese and no soft drinks at the Deli either.A very miserable experience!!!

Worst Kroger Ive been to. The tall heavy set kid with glasses in the fuel center is a joke. He walks around the parking lot pretending to wipe down the pump handles Ive had to leave and find another gas station because he takes so long to come and take your money. He actually told me they had closed the pumps down at 1055 when the posted time was clearly 11. I actually called and spoke to the manager and called the corporate offices and have never received a follow up call. Ill use speedway and Walmart from now on.

Great store! The organic section is huge and very cheap. We choose this store over Walmart and the local cooperative. Plus fuel points make huge savings on our gas every month.

Store manger treats most of her employees badly. This place has roaches in back room. Cant get equipment fixed. Has had fraudulent temperatures on chicken from deli manger was fired. And manger was brought back because of buddy system. Place looks very ran down. So I would not come here.

Management need to hire more people it is way under staffed! And expensive! I can go to Fairfield or Hamilton and get the same stuff cheaper big mark up cause of college students!

Although this Kroger is a standard Kroger, I’m giving them five-stars for all the employees wearing university t-shirts. Embracing the community is high on my priority list.

The prices are higher here because its a college town, but the service and staff are second to none. The quality is top notch as is their selection.

The layout was rather inefficient- it took me, someone who has gone to various Kroger stores their whole life much longer than necessary to find the four items I needed. The store was also very busy and needs to be updated like many other Krogers have been.I love Kroger as a whole- but this one is a mess.

This Kroger its clean, the people who work here are friendly, and there is a separate organic secion. There is also a drive thru pharmacy window, which is convenient. But if you come at high-traffic times, its faster to go inside than through the pharmacy drive-thru.

This was perhaps the worst organized grocery store ever. Then they reorganized it and made it even worse. Empty shelves, missing products, and so unintuitive that not even the employees can find anything if you ask them.

I have shopped at different Krogers throughout the state for most of my life. Only at this store have I encountered such rude and unhelpful staff. This particular store is undergoing a seemingly endless rearranging of inventory. I have been treated like an idiot when asking where stuff is. I have witnessed checkout staff complaining about their customers, and guess what?! The inventory sucks!

It’s a shame that such a large retailer can’t hire enough staff to support point of sale. Of 12 check out stations you can expect 1-2 check out stations to actually be staffed. The staff that is on hand can be quite rude as mentioned in other posts. The produce is not fresh and when brought to mgr’s attention, they don’t have an explanation. If Kroger’s expects their customers to utilize self check out, then Kroger should pass the staff savings cost onto the customer! Pricing is a roller-coaster. (I.e. The store used to sell 6pak liters of Evian and Fiji for $8-$10). You can’t even buy a 6 Pak of these products anymore. The parking lot is overflowing with plenty of aggressive drivers, it’s dangerous to walk through the parking lot, in and out of this store.

No qualms with the establishment. Courteous staff, and easy to get what you need and get out in an efficient amount of time.

A good supermarket for your basic necessities if you cannot or are opposed to going to Walmart. Aisles are usually crowded throughout the afternoon. One oddity is that it can smell like a rotten tooth at times.

This store, while posting its hours as open till 1 a.m., makes it very clear that night people are not welcome. The lights are turned down, the only option to check out is self-checkout, which is painful when youre handicapped. No I never offers to check out. Everything is getting moved around in the store, which makes it impossible to find.
