Called to get a price for a scissor lift locally and United Rentals quoted over 650.00 for a week. I thought I was quoted a fair price and passed it on to my customer who promptly told me that that was extremely high. I made one call to another company with no explanation of my experience with United and was quoted 415.00 for the exact same piece of equipment. Call around if you need to rent something, dont think you are getting a fair bid from these guys.
