If I could leave 0 stars, I absolutely would.They lie.They lie on what credit score you have to give you a higher rate.They like and tell you that you get services covered for 3 years, but really in that three years you can only change your oil 4 times.They are very dirty.Please use caution.
I purchased a certified, used. Hyundai from this dealer about a year ago. I recently received a DMV notice that the transfer of title had a problem. We just got back from this dealer with the advise to handle this on our own. I HIGHLY DO NOT recommend these bozos to anyone. Thanks.
My wife goes in for first service for her Sonata. All service for 3 year lease is covered. She had an appointment and yet they make her wait for 90 min before even looking at her car. What is the point of making an appointment? I would have left. When they finally start working on her car they decide to sell her on an air filter and other stuff she doesn’t need that is NOT covered. Such a typical dealer trying to take advantage of a young woman. It’s gotten to the point I always have to be present so she isn’t taken advantage of. You get 1 star as you are unethical and opportunistic. See you at the next service.

None of the workers care to help on arrival, must go find someone. Mechanics seem to have a lookout at the big door always looking at the customer waiting area... anyone can guess why. 2hrs for an oil change and wash. Left after an hour and a half without wash, car was still being worked on. Wasnt given a receipt or any invoice on services rendered. This place keeps up with car dealership tradition for sure.
I had a great experience a year ago working with Omar and leasing a 2019 Tuscon. A few weeks ago, I was hit from behind and my car was totalled. I called Omar and he got me EVERYTHING I wanted in a 2020 Tuscon and made the process easy and quick when we came in to get it. Ive never had any issues with the service department. HORRIBLE service department. They “replaced” my alternator in June 2020. 6 weeks later, my brother had to replace the alternator again. The alternator that my brother removed the car was definitely not 6 weeks old. The Alexander Hyundai service department either installed a USED alternator, or didn’t install one at all and charged me for a new one.THIEVES.

The young man who checked me in was very observant and noticed the left rear tire was slightly in need of air. It so happened that I had been experiencing a slow leak in that tire and had meant to mention it to the service writer but I had forgotten to mention it. Good catch. I believe they may have fixed the slow leak. Nice job and nice wash job.
Warning do not shop here! They are very dishonest! I called multiple times to confirm we could make a deal before driving all the way out there, I was promised by the sale person there was no issues and was turned away minutes after getting to the lot. Huge waste of time.

The personnel is amazing! I needed an oil change and tire rotation. I had a coupon for $25 off they had sent me for Christmas. The man who helped me, Roland, was so personable and he explained everything to me. He showed me the prices and info on his computer, all the while keeping up a friendly conversation. When I got my car back, it was washed and fixed just like I needed it to be. I will definitely be going back for my next service!
I wish I could say I got great service. The gentleman who handled my service after I was in the system was very nice and very clear. However, the man who I first dealt with (and who I dealt with in making the appointment) was rude, abrupt, and unhelpful. I felt like I was bothering him by bringing my car in for service. He misrepresented what the service would involve, and did not offer me estimates on tire and wheel rim repairs that he noted were needed -- so I figured I would just go to the local tire store, where they are much nicer.He needs to get another job if he cant treat customers with basic courtesy, and provide the services needed.

I bought a used vehicle outside of this area and called to find out if the warranty and maintenance package would be covered. Coupons only had the selling dealer showing.The service manager JJ DelGado actually returned multiple calls to me with clear explanations on what to do. He is both articulate and has excellent comprehension skills on this unusual situation. A significantly better response than I ever got from the nearby Benz dealer.Looking forward to getting my service done there. I also had to contact their parts department about a few additions and they were able to answer my questions over the phone. Seems like a professional company.
I had a great experience from scheduling to vehicle pickup up for my first oil change and basic vehcile checkup. I had a couple of items that needed to be addressed and the deal took care of all on warranty. I was very happy with the Lyft consierge service to take me back to work. It was just a very pleasant experience. This is my first Hyundai and my first oil change, Im still impressed with my first Hyundai!

This experience was certainly an improvement from my last visit. I had forgotten to have them check my windshield wipers when I dropped my car off, but they were kind enough to replace them for me after my car was finished. I really appreciated that.

DO NOT RECOMMEND, this dealership has no idea how to bargain on a new car. They didn’t want to take more than the factory incentive off a brand new Sonata, stating there’s not much profit/ wiggle room in the pricing of the car. We walked out and went to westlake Hyundai and off the bat they beat the price without haggling them by 2,000$. Ended up getting 5,000$ off a brand new car at westlake, do yourself a favor and don’t listen to this dealer. Sorry not sorry, learn how to actually give your paying customers a good deal.
I had to make an unexpected trip out of town when my low tire pressure light kept flashing. All four tires were at the correct pressure level. I pulled into Alexander Hyundai with no appointment. One of the sensors was bad so they replaced it. I waited in the lobby for about one hour. When my car was ready they had also washed it. The service advisor was very courteous and did explain the problem. It is what I would call no hassel courteous service.
Had the best experience at Hyundai with Omar! He was amazing, really took care of me and actually worked with me.. GO TO OMAR if you want to leave happy with a new car! Great guy!

I honestly went to just view a car I liked online and I did not expect much but to go in and see if it was the right car for myself. I saw that car and it looked better in person than in pictures. I came here for a recall..it failed their first test, they called corporate, removed the bottom and took pictures (?), then it passed so they didnt replace anything. Days later my battery died, which I replaced elsewhere. No idea what they did to my car.. or why they took pictures.. all i know is, they killed my battery and didnt do the recall that i came in for
I had totalled my 2011 Santa Fe and was looking for a replacement. I stopped in at Alexander Hyundai and saw a 2017, beautiful with low miles. Waiting for the insurance deposit, I returned two days later to find the car had been sold. Finally receiving my insurance money, I return once more to find a 2017, that had just come in and was just going in for detailing. I drove it, amazing car. My husband and I were on the hunt for a new car. We knew we wanted something that was a few years old but had low mileage. We had been to a few dealerships before arriving at Hyundai and hadnt found anything we liked. Immediately we found two cards at Oxnard Hyundai that we liked. Scott was patient and informative as we asked him a bunch of questions and my husband and I both test drove two cars. We spent over two hours with Scott on our first day there. We werent ready to make a decision that day so Scott put the car on hold for us for 48 hrs. Were lucky he suggested that because just as we were leaving another person came to buy our car! We came back two days later and purchased the car. It was easy, no hassle experience. Scott had the car cleaned and ready for us when we got there. I was in the market for a new fuel efficient car. I loved my Jeep but it was killing me every time I had to fill up. I did a lot research on line and went to a few dealer ships around my house in LA. I found Oxnard Hyundai on line and there pricing was so much less then the dealers in the Los Angeles area. So I decided to take the drive. From the moment my foot hit the ground I was treated as a VIP. Big John was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, he had the answers to the questions I did not even know I had! John helped me stay within in my budget and not get in over my head with monthly payments. Steve in the finance department made me feel like family as we went through the paper work. I arrived at 7pm and was finished at 11pm. Even though they close at 9 the entire staff stayed including the GM Charlie and the detailing guys in the back stayed late to make sure I had everything I needed. Big John helped me clean out my Jeep and consoled me as it was very hard to part with it. All in all this was by far the BEST place I have ever been to by a car. Overall a great experience!!!Bill is a wonderful representative for the Genesis brand. He worked his a$$ off to bring in the car that I was interested in.It took more time than anticipated, for two reasons, I changed the color/interior that I wanted (that car was NOT available), and traffic. My other choice car had to be brought in from a dealership about 80 miles away from Oxnard... it took time and Bill wanted to be certain that the car was properly detailed.I was sick and wanted nothing more than to get home with my new car... Bill arranged for the car to receive its full detail at a later date, he gave me a full 1 hour plus tutorial on how things work in the car... and offered follow up lessons!My first day with the Car, I had a question... I had forgot that he had a funeral to go to that day; but, he still took my call. I then had an issue with Valet Parking at a MAJOR hotel in Los Angeles (read the Ritz Carlton Marina Del Rey) on the first full day that I owned my car... when I took my new car in for the duration Pont service... he took care of the scratch.I can not give higher praise to Alexander Genesis of Oxnard or Bill, their Genesis Manager.Go there with confidence and LOVE your new car.Gail McIntosh

They changed locations since my last visit, no notifications received with the appointment reminders and no signs visible at eye level where sitting in my car waiting in a non-op facility full of new cars. Along with a couple other customers we found the need location to be greeted with a long line, I originally arrived at 8 for an 8:15 appt to beat the crowd. Besides waiting 2.5 hours for a simple oil change and wash and waiting for the service rep to process two entering cars even after my car was pulled out of the shop into the pickup area, my oil did get changed, I hope! Not impressed today.
Great location love that they will contact you for any recalls and when you make an appointment you dont wait long for service and they have coffee & tea and nice waiting room havent look for a new vehicle yet but with the customer service I have received was very pleasant and courteous

Although I did not set out to buy a car on that particular day, I purchased the Sonata because John Calabrano was so friendly and did not apply any pressure to make us buy. Francisco was our car salesman. The first time my partner and I went to Oxnard Hyundai Francisco showed us all around the lot explaining the advantages of the different model types. We are musicians and our needs were a large trunk space and back seats that fold down. We ended up loving the Sonata and the color was silver blue pearl. Francisco was so friendly and down to earth and we felt that he really did care about us and our needs. We were still checking out cars and he was very gracious and understanding.When we came back a couple of weeks later, the Sonata we liked had been sold so Francisco had a driver go to LA to drive the car I wanted up to Oxnard. I had to wait for the car and it was worth it. Francisco wanted me to be happy and he was willing to go out of his way to make that happen. Mr. Kim the sales manager was also very cordial and so was the finance officer. In fact everyone we encountered was very helpful and friendly.I am thrilled with my new Sonata and I am thrilled with the service I received from Francisco. I dont have a problem with the dealership but the car. Had to have a new engine in a 2016 car and 3 months later needed a new water pump. 1 year before that problem with the HVAC and this time it took three months to figure out that the ignition cable had to be replaced. The car isnt old to have all these problems.

Its obvious that the employees are happy working at Alexander Hyundai! Friendly, professional, prompt service. My Veloster is in for service and they have gone beyond my expectations...the courtesy shuttle service is amazing! Edited: Theyve dropped the ball. Told me the problem wasnt due to the recall. Car started doing what the recall was supposed to fix the day after it was in for the recall. Anyone else have this issue?
