Update from 24 hours from below:Isaac was very apologetic for our problem of yesterday and we did choose to give the business a second chance. He was able to provide what we needed and we had a good experience.We went today to sell some jewelry. I chose this business based on the mostly good reviews. We arrived at 1:22pm. A sign on the door (just above the sign asking for reviews...) said we will be back in 5 minutes. Thank you. We tried calling twice; no answer. At 2:05pm we left. If you cant be trusted to be back in 5 minutes (or be honest about when you will return) then you certainly cannot be trusted to buy or sell high quality items. Well, you really cant be trusted on any level. Your website does say that your hours are 10 am - 7pm. It does not say that you close for lunch or to run errands or whatever you were doing while your dog sat on a chair in the store. You can rest assured that I will not waste my time to return to your establishment and if this is the way you run your business, I cannot imagine that you will be in business much longer. Truly, I understand if you have to be away from your shop if you are the only employee, but be honest about your return so you respect yourcustomers time as well as your own.

I am so happy I read the reviews on local jewelers. In my search to find a reputable jeweler, I read all the reviews and the ones here for US Gold were outstanding. I made a stop in after visiting another Derry jeweler (I will not mention that rip off places name) and Michelle offered me a price that was higher than the other place, by $119 to be exact. Obviously my search ended with her. She was the best! Thanks!

Best prices, happy and positive environment, and the best service. Absolutely phenomenal experience! The owner, Isaac, goes above and beyond for his clients. To make sure that he does not lose a client he will personally reach out take the time to give his clients VIP treatment. During my first experience, though the prices were extremely fair, the customer service wasnt what I had hoped. Isaac personally proved that Gold and Jewelry Emporium values each and every client during my visit today. He is extremely knowledgeable in his trade and took the time to educate me on what to look for in jewelry items as aposed to many gold buyers/pawn shops that make you feel ignorant when you ask them a question about items you want appraised. He is sure to give you the best price possible on items for you to buy and to sell. And if he cannot offer you what you hoped, he has great advice and may possibly know who can help you better. Out of the many items he purchased from me, 3 had already been appraised by other gold buying stores. A jewelry store completely low-balled the current scrap gold melting price and a pawn/gold buying shop was both rude and cheap. So I was extremely impressed with not only the customer service at Gold and Jewelry Emporium, but also how fair they are with their offers. Isaac had also stated that he is always willing to negotiate aswell! I did not feel a negotiation was necessary, however. His enthusiasm for gold and jewelry is contagious and his genuinely kind and cheerful personality is refreshing. I am beyond pleased with todays visit and will definitely recommend Gold and Jewelry Emporium to anyone who wants to sell jewelry, buy jewelry, or have items appraised.

I dont usually review places but I wanted to write that after I went to a few other jewelery stores in Oxnard and my decision to sell to these guys was so easy because they simply paid the most then anyone else and the service was just great and polite. They tested everything right in front of me and also paid me extra cash for the larger diamonds that I had (other stores just brushed them off as fake or plastic). Thank you again and I will refer many more clients to this store.

This place is horrible!! When I first walked in this rude lady asked can I help you. I then said how much can I get for my 14karat gold rope necklace. She looked at it and said thats it! She grabbed it tested it to see if it was real, then she weighed it. She then said, Ill give you $56 dollars! What a rip off!!! Ive cashed in gold before and been offered good money but this place is a joke! False advertising!!!

Called and ask the owner what they where paying for fine gold at the time since everyone knows its a up and down market gave me a price from 11$ to 21$ Per gram ( one red flag)told him LA Gold store is paying 17.28 per gram . Then he tells me no one pays 17$ but he just told me he pays up to 21$(2 red flags ) stay away!!!! Specially if they lie to u over the phone sneaky owner but not that smart !!!!!!

I´m very disappointed with the current service, I´m so sorry for Isaac the owner, but the new italian employee, very friendly, but doesn’t have enough experience and rejected with stupid explanations the items that I offered him. Told me that it would be better to return when the owner were there. He doesn’t speak a lot english and it makes difficult to me understand and negotiate with him. I don’t have time to return every time the italian guy doesn’t want or can´t help me!!! Sorry for this guy, but sometimes the kindness is not enough.Thank you very much Isaac, I appreciate your answer but I had to take my items to another place, next time I’ll seriously consider your offer but only if I deal with you!!!

Wow. For those who think your getting a good deal selling your gold there you are wrong. These people are scamming everyone. They are paying 12 dollars a pennyweight for 10k, 99% of the people in California go by grams. Which is 1.5 more then pennyweight. Long story short. Your getting about 6 dollars a gram for your gold most other places pay about 12 to 16 dollars a GRAM. These people are not even paying you 25% of what your gold is worth...make sure where ever you take your gold you get at least 12 dollars a gram not pennyweight..

Sure they will buy your gold and silver but they wont give you sh&@ for it. Theives.
