This could possibly be the best quiche I have had in the state of Missouri.Today she put exotic mushrooms matched with Saul cured him from Italy. It was cooked flawlessly.The lasagna soup was over-the-top good, and I think I just got the last of the fried green tomatoes for the season.Thank you so much for caring about your food, your staff, and your customers. Our family just loves Market House Cafe! Their weekly specials are delicious, their breakfast options including the Deputy Fife Stacker, pancakes, quiche and so much more are all very yummy. My husband and I really enjoy their monte cristo breakfast sandwich. Our children have enjoyed their pasta salad, grilled cheese, salads, deli style sandwiches and the chicken tenders. The bakery cabinet is always full of some of the best desserts around the area. I would definitely recommend visiting Market House Cafe in downtown Ozark! Barbara and Laura are absolute gems too, just so sweet each time we visit!
Very yummy food. We were passing through Springfield on our way to Branson, Missouri and tried this restaurant out. It was set in a cute little neighborhood full of local shops. We order the egg in the whole burger with fries, the egg and broccoli quiche and the lasagna soup. These were from the specialty menu and we loved the taste and freshness. I didn’t care for the cubana sandwich much but I really enjoyed the dining experience. They also had some delicious freshly made coffee, which was perfect for a rainy day. Definitely check this place out. The staff and owner were all so sweet.
Amazing fresh homemade food, wonderful service and the owner and chef always stops by each table to check on them! Has a super cute atmosphere on the square I. Ozark. My favorites are their homemade soups (change daily), the breakfast Cajun grits and their Cobb salad with fried chicken! This is our go to breakfast and lunch date spot! 5 stars!
Amazing unique flavors and friendly service that cant be beat! They use handmade bread for their toast and fresh eggs. They also have special kids cups and plates that made my kids feel special.

Stopped in on an out of town visit. Nice cafe settled into Downton Ozark. Staff was friendly. Wait for breakfast was almost 45 minutes and the toast and sausage were stale. Hash browns were delicious.

The food was tasty! My only issue is that I asked for an iced coffee, and I was served a watered down version of brewed coffee with ice in it. When it was first brought out I thought it was iced tea, the color was so light. I asked the waitress for another one that was less watery, but she told me it would always come out like that. If you can’t serve guests proper iced coffee, then I would say don’t allow them to believe it’s an option.
Great spot on the city square for breakfast! Monte Cristo sandwich was delicious and love the hashbrowns! Staff was terrific, really neat spot!

What a wonderful little cafe! My daughters and I had a hair appointment next door at the Hive (❤️) and came early to have breakfast. To die for! My Blackstone Eggs Benedict were excellent, and the girls’ French toast was a hit. Will definitely be coming back to try the salmon and cream cheese omelette with capers next!
I randomly searched breakfast places on Google and found this gem. The food is amazing and to tell you the truth I almost didnt want to add to the reviews just to try and keep this place a secret 😅. Anything from the eggs benedict, country gravy, lasagna soup, and honestly from my experience anything that comes out of that kitchen is tantalizingly scrumptious. The staff is amazing (every one of them). They made me feel very welcome and comfortable!
Can’t say enough about this wonderful cozy restaurant located downtown Ozark. The service is always fantastic. Laura Dean is a tremendous asset to this restaurant. Even if she isn’t serving you, she always steps in to help her coworkers. It is great employees like Laura that make the dining experience wonderful. The food! OMG the food is the best. If you live in Springfield or Ozark you need to check this place out. We dined there yesterday and I had the worlds best grilled cheese with bacon strips and avocado, and topped it off with incredible slice of cheesecake. The potato salad is the best I have ever had in my life. I highly recommend Market House Cafe to everyone. Trust me, you will be back again, and again.

The food was okay. Not bad, but not great. We ordered two breakfast plates, two coffees and a cinnamon roll and it was $40 with the tip. Given the price I will likely not eat here again. If it were more reasonably priced, I would consider it. Eating in would likely be a better experience.
I cannot say enough good things about this place. The food speaks for itself, but the owner (who I assume is the owner) and the staff there are so nice and welcoming. Amazing food, amazingly nice people, such an important part of what makes Ozark the great town it is! - Jace
I strongly recommend everyone passing through Ozark to stop here and get some food. The staff is incredibly polite and makes you feel like family. As far as food goes, all of their sandwiches will take you to flavor town. They win big by making their own bread and using top quality meats.
Nestled on the Square in Ozark, MO, this great place makes homemade meals especially desserts! There is also outside seating. Located Across from the courthouse with parking on the street. The daily specials are posted outside for convenience.
Awesome service and food. We were looking for a place for lunch following a horrible experience at Spring Creek where we were never served. What a pleasant surprise. Delicious fried green tomatoes and chicken salad. Highly recommend this cafe. Will definitely return.

Very average. Good service and atmosphere, but had to drown the food in salt and pepper. It had no flavor. Also, they leave a passive aggressive note on the table about masking (which I have no problem with), however the employees in the back don’t wear one. Yikes.
I dont have words. The owner loves to create good food and it comes through in every dish. Dont miss the Lasagna Soup and make room for ANY of her sandwiches on homemade bread. It was yum!
We were heading home on a four hour drive, and we stopped here for breakfast. Our big family ordered a ton of food, and they had everything we were craving!! Our food came out warm and delicious. Definitely going back.

This charming cafe on the square in Ozark has great breakfasts. French toast got raves from my wife and granddaughter. The biscuits with gravy are given a special kick of seasoning.

They dont have their tables spaced 6ft apart, which doesnt matter to me at all, then inconvience you to move 1 seat over at your table like thats going to make a difference??? It wouldve made more sense that the owner moved our table further away from the 6 top and another two top within arms length of our table, instead of making me pick up the highchair with my two year old in it to move him. The owner was within 2ft of my face even after i switched seats and i literally had to ask her to just leave us alone because she was ruining my first time dining here. Im pretty disappointed because I wanted to come back to try the eggs Benedict breakfast but Im so annoyed after today that Im not sure Ill subject myself to potentially another less than impressive experience. Also it took WAY too long to even get our water and chocolate milk after being sat and we were only the 2nd table at the time we got there.

Awesome vintage cafe vibe. Great food. The menu is inspired by the owners travels and I can tell shes put a lot of thought and passion into the menu and food. Great breakfast with both traditional and innovative breakfast foods. Lunch menu has never disappointed either. Service has always been good, even when busy.

Stopped in early for breakfast. I had the grits, hubby had the biscuits and gravy Deputy Fife meal. He was very pleased. The grits tasted good but were a little soupy. Prices are a bit high but worth it for me because of the ambience of the room. Would definitely eat here again!

My husband and I absolutely love this quaint little place. The food is phenomenal, the Reuben sandwich is my personal favorite but try them all you wont be disappointed. The service is great and the owner is charming even remembering me from a year ago. Unfortunately I dont get there as often as I like.
Ambiance is cozy. Food was out of this world. The homemade bread has great consistency, light airy and perfectly balanced, not too tangy, not too bland or doughy. The lasagna soup is an experience you HAVE to try before you die. Truly an amazing dining experience.

Before I visited here this summer, I went with my mom at least 3 times a week during the summer in 2016. The owner recognized us immediately. Its a very wholesome and wonderfully delicious place to eat and I recommend it to everyone. Amazing people, great food, and a welcome every visit.

This is our favorite place to eat in the area. The staff is friendly, and the owner stops by our table nearly every time were there. Hands down the best breakfast anywhere. The biscuits and gravy are better than homemade. The lunch menu is great too and the specials are always worth trying. Fresh baked goods every day. Its really hard to go wrong. We take all our out of town guests here for at least one meal during their stay.
Had the burger with the maple syrup bacon reduction. Delicious Save room for dessert. Had the bread pudding
The Market House Cafe is a charming little place on the historic Ozark Square. The quality of the food is always excellent, and there are several unique menu items worth trying. I have eaten both breakfast and lunch here several times and always enjoy drooling over the baked goods and cakes in the display cases. The owner is very nice - seems she is always there working in the kitchen.
A good Reuben is hard to find and theirs is excellent. Fast friendly service with a great atmosphere. Next time Ill definitely get dessert!

Neat little place on the square in Ozark. Food is always great. They also have excellent baked goodies to choose from.
I ordered a Reubens, it was pretty good. The bread was great. It could have used a bit more meat but other that it was good. My biggest issue was the cheese, or the cheese like substance that was on it. They used an American style Chem cheese, which is not cheese. This is acceptable on a 99 cent cheese burger from McDonalds but this is just not OK for an $11 sandwich (with tip).Issue 2 was with the bathroom. It was relatively clean, but they only had air dryers. We all know there are people who do not wash their hands after using the restroom. So they leave and touch the door handle and smear who knows what all over it. Then an employee washes their hands like they should but they are still touching the same handle and next they go make you a sandwich.
The Market House Cafe and Bake Shop is the perfect place for breakfast or lunch. Located on the quaint Ozark square, the setting is cozy and the staff are always friendly. Ive never had anything to eat there that wasnt wonderful. As a carb-aholic, the plethora of breads, cookies and desserts made right there in the Bake Shop are an especially strong draw. Do NOT skip dessert, my friends.
Atmosphere is cozy and the food is amazing and comforting. Breakfast is my favorite time to go but the lunches are delicious as well.

I love the cake, havent try the meals yet, but they look tempted.About a month ago we bought 2 slices of different flavor cake, they were big n delicious. But last week we went back for more cake slices, they were a lot smaller., still delicious though.
