Such a convenient local market to stop in for quick last minute items or to prepare a little meal. I love that they have a fresh deli section with delicious made salads and the deli meats. Reasonable prices and great service!
Wonderful local grocer! They have a great selection of local produce, products, and a fantastic butcher. This is a great place to pick up a great cut for dinner. The butcher is very thoughtful, and will even recommend pairings and optimal cooking times. They even carry locally prepared side dishes for a simplified meal.
A neat little grocery store that I wish we had in my area. (I visited while on vacation.) Their hot food and deli counter looked absolutely delicious. I should have bought something from it.

Wonderful family owned local super market in the middle of Pacific Grove. Good selection, fresh produce and a real butcher shop with great meats, fish, poultry as well as freshly baked meals to go. All of everything that you need for a fully prepared picnic by the beach or in the park with a good bottle of wine or two. Very friendly staff that very helpful. Good selection of Gluten Free options if you are interested.

Nostalgic quality in the high quality of locally sourced items. Breads, cheese, wines. Sweet little deli with hot items like fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, salads in the case. Butcher shop case full of beautiful cuts. Always excellent vegetables and fruits. Plus employees who care and are helpful.

Local go-to for medium groceries
It is nice that Pacific Grove has a small grocery store for its seniors on foot...However, I had such a bad experience yesterday they put a damper on my family Sunday dinner … I arrived for some quick items about 7 minutes before closing and told a nice gentleman that I just had to grab some wine and essentials and then I’ll be out of the way. Even before 6 o’clock a unfriendly announcement was made for everyone to finish… Since I was the only one in the store I felt this was odd. While I was quickly picking out wine it was 4 minutes after closing time and the cashier charged down the aisle to tell me it was time for me to leave… and yanked the basket out of my hand at the check stand so I almost dropped the wine. I’m sure there are a lot of hard-working friendly people there so this is very unfortunate....

Wonderful little community grocery store. They carry a great selection of wine though limited. Everything you need for staples. They also have fresh donuts and probably the best meat counter in Pacific Grove. The staff are all very friendly and happy to help.

Really good deli selection of prepared pasta salads, cooked meats, and cold cuts. Decent beer and wine selection too. It has just about everything you need. I was surprised to find firewood for a reasonable price of $10.

Everyone loves Grove Market! Im no exception. This reminds me of Shoppers Corner in Santa Cruz. Great deli counter and old fashioned butchers counter. Prefect beach town grocery store with a lovely selection of better condiments, coffee, tea, etc. Organic dairy and choice produce. Happy I found it!
My go to place for quality meats and good, fresh veggies. They even make their own delicious Orange Juice! Their take out deli items are a neighborhood favorite and go fast. Holiday meat orders get the personal touch as do you with any thing you might want to order. This is one neighborhood market where no one is a stranger and they meet their stellar reputation as an exceptional market. For me, they actually surpass it. Enjoy!

No one is better than these guys. Chris and Terry, Cameron and Eunice were always so kind to us. It was so so nice to have a place so close. They may not always have everything you wanted(its very small). But they always had everything that I needed.
Call it the 5.00 store your not getting outta there without at least 5 bucks for every item it seemed from a liaf if bread to a 1 lb box. Of sugar so pricy but folkes are very nice

The service at Grove Market is fantastic. The butchers never hesitate to trim your meat to whatever cut you want. Meat prices are especially competitive. Prices are generally high but not outrageous.

Great local market with plenty of meats and produce. Prices are the same as supermarkets or slightly more, but altogether a much more positive experience. Friendly staff and customers. You get the feeling this is where the townspeople shop and that it has a role in the community. The customers know the people who work there and vice versa. It’s cool that places like this still exist. I plan on making this my primary grocery store because I hope places like this remain part of American culture. Also, quality of food seems higher across the store.

Very small place, but has a great product section. Got some cherries there, even about a week later theyre still delicious. Also has some pretty good pasta salads.
Friendly mom and pop store. I like the breakfast burritos there. They are fairly priced. If you look in the refrigerator, past the whole roasted chickens you can sometimes get some deals on ready made food that is cheaper than eating at a restaurant.

Surprising good selection of organic food and very friendly and helpful staff. Love the butcher shop, helpful guys and quality meats like grass-fed beef and free range, pasture raised chicken. I mostly only shop here and occasionally go to Lucky for a few items they don’t carry. Prices are often the same or lower than larger grocery stores.

Nice market. Stop by here every once in a while for a treat from their deli on my lunch break and Im never disappointed. Prices are fair for the items in store (not gas station prices, but a little higher than Wal*Mart), and youre also supporting a local business.

The friendliest staff. We walked one morning to get doughnuts and the doughnut shop across the street was closed. The owner at Grove Market hadnt opened yet but he saw us with my 3 yr old son and didnt want him to be disappointed so graciously gave us 2 free doughnuts and the girl gave him a high five before they even opened. To go out of their way to make a kids day amazed me.Every time we have gone shopping here I feel a real sense of community and they are so friendly. Everything is super clean. This is how you imagine Pacific Grove to be, this is the town I want to live in, and with people like this.
Grove Market is sooo local, but stunningly cosmopolitan. A wide range of local items, from honey processed in the zip code to wines from local appellation. Fresh produce attractively presented, a butcher counter that has everything from pre-cooked meals to butchered-here meats.
Minimal square footage = walkable = ideal for PGs oldstersMeat department is great! Hot deli is Hit & Miss Tonite I had pulled pork and diced potatoes from the hot deli. The pulled pork was great, the diced potatoes were awful. Little by little, you and I will learn what to order and what to never order again from the hot deli.
