*Edit* Stopped by again this week and had a much better experience. The staff were friendly though I still didnt end up with quite what I needed.~¤~¤~¤~The website lists products in stock that they dont have. There are no sales reps on the floor. If you wait in line at the register for help, they take offense and are rude. One star. Do not recommend
I pulled up to the store after google maps led the direction which was literally UP THE STREET. Upon entering i was greeted.Asked if i needed assistance. And been pointed towards what i wss looking for by the manager. (I was looking for a Straw hat). They had the exact one i needed .
Friendly neighborhood hardware store, while catering to my desire for rewards with their Ace connection.
I just wanted to express my sincere appreciation to the staff at Ace Hardware, who help make living in our great little town that much better.
I think what I expect from this store is far below what they achieve.I have come in a few times, because they had a few things I was interested in. I could not find anywhere in person. The teams are really nice folks, that have always taken their time to help me out with anything I am looking for.I went out of my way to spend some more money here because they really are a decent experience. Not too busy, but fairly flowing. a rugged team that at least makes me feel like they are talking to me. Not through me.I havent had a bad experience in any way. I always seem to leave with a smile and the teams have done a wonderful job keeping the shop up to pace.I am not looking for super clean, super duper organized or even somewhere with all the new things. What they do have? An awesome selection of plumbing equipment without a hundred kids running around. They have an awesome bolt and nuts location with everything easily accessible not locked away. With fun little bags to keep tabs on what Im picking out.I like being left alone too and just wondering and I found this place was fun to find some new projects to think about.Again, they do a wonderful job for me and Im super happy when ever I stop by.Some of the younger guys have been really helpful and consistently see them helping others. Older guys do a wonderful job with the right knowledge. The ladies in the shop are wonderful and helpful as well.
Great hardware store for all your hardware needs. Employees are friendly and helpful! 10/10 will go again.
Very nice but small
Bad cashiers, they doesn’t care about you.
Don’t waste your time going into this store. Most of the time they are out of the exact thing I went in for, but the last straw was today. I waited in line for a bit to get a piece of glass cut. When it was my turn I asked for help and he chuckled and said there was no way he was cutting a piece of glass for me 10 minutes before they closed. There are other more polite ways he could have expressed the same thing.Never shopping there again. Rude.
The staff I saw in person was really nice and helpful. I called first to confirm they had what I was looking for and Nope! 35 mile/ 1 hour drive and they didnt have the specific canning pot I was looking for in stock. Still a nice ACE location.
Helpful, friendly staff and decent selection without being home depot levels of crazy or dirty.
Cant beat the friendly service here. Wide selection for all your home needs
Great customer service
Very helpful and courteous employees.
Has alot of electrical, plumbing, and lawn stuff than anything else but its still a good place!
Ive been shipping at this ACE hardware for years. The folks who work there are always helpful to locate that for which I may be looking. The astor is convenient to the Forest Hill area of PG and new Monterey. Their paint color matching service is very good. Ive used it several times.
Helpful staff. Quick key making.
Needed screens for two windows. I gave them measurements and they will have them ready in a week. Great service.
Clint helped me avoid 3 trips - great staff here!
Its a hardware store! Theyve got a good variety of tools which was the only section I really visited today. Theyre prices are reasonable and have brand name products.Their power tool selection was awesome too. Enough to catch my eye, stop and take a look at what they got.
My family calls this place happy hometown hardware. If you have been here then you know why . Willie always seems to find just what I need or maybe even a better solution.
They have mostly friendly staff, and are pretty knowledgable. Was looking for a spacer/washer, and the bins just were not what I needed. Then he suggested making a washer/spacer out of some silicon pad-like stuff. Brilliant! I explained what I was red-necking, and the solution was better than what was previously there. Plus, it was cheaper, bigger, better, more. I ended up replacing all of my washer/spacer things for less than the price of one set of washers. Now they all match, spread the load better, and will literally last forever. They ALSO helped me today on a minor electrical project, getting me the correct fuse for the assembly I was putting together.I have had keys made here, only had trouble with one. Went back with it and the original, and it was remade fast and on the spot. They even had the color of key I wanted, both times. They are SLIGHTLY more expensive than some of the big box places, BUT there are no salesman throwing ads in my face, help is always right around the corner (literally, if not closer), and they are local (well, local enough for me).I have also returned a few items over time, never an issue.Overall, I rate them 5 stars, even with some things costing just a tad more. Come on, is $0.50 worth saving? Considering my personal drive to any big box store, it is well worth the walk for me to Ace. Ace is the place!
Selling off-brand N95 masks for $5.00 a piece. waste of a trip
Jess the manager is keeping this place going quite well. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only thing that I had a problem is the return policy. I had ACE products and normal stock items. But for them to say they wont do returns after 30 days just is wrong. We spend thousands for our buildings and for them to give us grief for this was not good .
As with all Ace Hardware stores, their assortment of nuts/bolts/hardware Is superior.Electrical section is definitely lacking though.Other stuff is good, but not superior.
Long time customer. Tried to purchase various tools for my local business today, was told no checks over $50.00. Told the clerk Ill never return, he said ok. Home Depot gladly took my money.
Went in to get paint brushes young workers 2 of them wearing there masks on there chin I told them to put there masks on gave me dirty looks and just ignored me there were a lot of people in there didnt feel safe in there at all
Friendly and helpful service with almost everything
Ace does have the helpful staff as I went from Christmas lights needs to gate latch to a book for a wind chime. Well stocked as you would hope to expect in your local hardware store.
They may not carry everything that the Big Box stores do, but youll find fun things that you didnt even know you needed :-) The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and will recommend you to the right store if necessary.
Th ey had ahat I neede, at a good price.
Most polite ppl work their especially Brian, Jes, Jessica n Bill. Always trying to help you. I love this place.

As far as Ace goes, this is a good one. Clean and well organized.
Its the biggest ace hardware on the Peninsula. and the people are very helpful and nice
Because I work there and always do my best for our customers!
On Monday Jan 15 2018 I went to this store to have a key made. I waited my turn, and when I got to the register I asked the lady named Shirley to make a key for me. she said OK, and she collected the price in advance, and asked me to move to the key section for a second. The second became minutes and more minutes and I am looking at her while she kept calling one customer after another. After waiting 5-8 minutes I got fed up with her carelessness and requested my money telling her that what she did was unacceptable and unfair, and I told her of my intentions. She asked me to sign in couple of places and I left the store irate, and told her that I will post on yelp and other social media. It is bad to have a neighborhood store that does not service the local community. My rating is 0
They always have what I need and know exactly where it is and how to use it. Today I bought a handle for my pickax and they put the pick ax on it and even sawed it to fit!
I love the hometown feel!
I bought a light saber here. It was a little more pricey than what I could have gotten out of town.
Good place for hardware supplies
Super organized place and friendly workers.
Friendly, good selection, a little pricey.
Its a hardware store. I think the staff get bored because Ive never been to a hardware store where folks were so attentive. Maybe I just look lost ;-)Friendly people feels like a small neighborhood store but its huge and they have EVERYTHING
Just about everything you need in a hardware store.
Just had to get my nuts and bolts
