Sort of like Whole Foods (in a good way). Very large selection, all high quality, great produce, not terribly expensive. Staff is friendly and helpful. Clean and well laid out. Much nicer than Safeway! Ill be going here often!

I love this market I come here very often and today I encountered a very uncomfortable situation with one of the employees that work in the produce department. I picked some bananas and my daughter wanted other ones, so we came back and she picked her own and immediately after that the man (older with a black cap) said something like this “no, no I wouldn’t do that because kids have too many germs and it gets into the food” then he saw me put the bananas in the cart and he said “oh ok “ i immediately said “no worries “ and he implied saying “I do worry!”I didn’t appreciate the fact he jumped into conclusions without seeing the entire action. I also noticed that when we arrived to the produce department he made eye contact with us and did not greet or welcomed us to the store. Instead we received his unpleasant approach. And what difference does it make if I touched the bananas and put them back on the shelf. He literally picked on my kid. I get that kids carry more germs but we just came from home.The man also had a disgusted look towards us and made feel very uncomfortable which made me lose focus, so I just grabbed a few things and left right away.Let’s teach that man some customer service skills please. Have a talk with him and do some customer service role play exercises.he really needs it and for the sake of your store. I hope the general manager reads this. Thank you!

Friendly staff, wide variety of specialty product, fresh produce!

Great local market, can be a bit pricey, but they have a lot of products you wont find at a Safeway or Grocery Outlet! I dont shop here frequently, but when I do I always have a good experience. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Theres also a Wells Fargo ATM right inside the market which is super convenient.

If you can afford the higher-than-average prices, Oceana is the best shopping experience you can find in Pacifica. The produce is fresh and well-kept, the meats section is comprehensive and gorgeous, and it includes some awesome dry-aged beef. There is also a significant selection of imported products, fresh bread including some Rosalinds Bakery staples.All around a great experience, just not something for every pocket.

Love the makeup section, a lot vegan options. Will return soon to buy more. Just remember it is pricy.

Gem of a market! Clean, well lit, beautifully organized, friendly&helpful staff, wonderful meats (theres an air-aging locker), organic, vegetarian, vegan, keto-friendly, and gluten-free options abound throughout the store. Large pet supply department, gift & house-warming section includes the kitchen gadget you just wore out, wide variety of beers & wine, lovely produce, fresh squeezed orange juice, in-house made guacamole & sauces, and a section full of measured containers of candies, nuts, trail mixes, candied fruit, etc.A Super Market indeed!

I love small, community grocery stores and really appreciate the atmosphere of this place, but the prices here are a bit eye watering. They have a few good sales, but otherwise, it is just really expensive to shop here.

Unfortunately, we use to go to this place every day, prior to Covid-19. Since, in my opinion, the place has lost its wonderful, caring attitude. SAD!!! Cashiers are bump on the log. Customer service is nil!! Oh yes, prices out of site....

Deli department with good quality meats, fresh meat Department with choice meats, fresh fruit and vegies, in store made products that are delicious, convenient. A little pricey but worth it for better quality.

This is our grocery store of choice Everytime we are in Pacifica, CA. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots of variety in the store. We like the deli section with a wide variety of prepared side dishes. Also, always pick up Fresh sourdough bread.

Of all the markets on the coastside that I frequent (Safeways in HMB and Pacifica, the awesome Spanglers Market in El Granada and Cunhas in HMB) this is the best.

A supermarket with a surprisingly large selection of products. Excellent produce. High quality meet department. A wide selection of high quality imported domestic cheese.

Clean, well organized and mindful of safety protocols. Many healthy and gourmet products are featured here. Pricier than Safeway or Luckys but a much more calmer and community-oriented food and home shopping experience.

Made a sojourn prior to visiting the pier. The store was fine, but the cashiers were not overly friendly. I picked up some gummy bears for my boys.

Just moved to Pacifica and I am really excited to have found this amazing market. Lots of gluten free options, organic produce, and even some dry aged meats. Yay.

For the price, the hot food was terrible, dry, and gluey. Not worth.

Produce prices are great. Everything else is to damn expensive. I asked for my senior 10% discount after they rang me up. They told to late! You have to ask for it before they start scanning the groceries.

Decent prices, great products, incredibly rude and condescending staff . I stopped by to check out the market I heard so much about and got death stares and quickly took the hint that my business was not wanted here. Its a real shame because I liked the produce, artisanal brew, and dry aged meat. However I dont think Ill ever want to shop here again

It’s really unfortunate that this local independent grocery store is forcing people to wear masks and harassing their customers for silly things, like having a canvas bag in their cart. They are cracking down on some rules, yet not limiting the amount of people in the store.Usually this store is great, and I usually prefer shopping there even thought the prices are higher. But lately I feel I am not welcome because I am a free thinker. So strange that a health food store would force their clientele and employees to do something as unhealthy as wear a mask for extended periods of time.I have shopped in Safeway in Pacifica without a mask and no one said a thing. I was in another health food store and they made it a point to say they weren’t making their employees wear masks. They left it up to the customer to decide, and also provided a hand wash station for people when they arrived. It was so much more civilized (and American) that way.Please don’t alienate your customers who don’t believe everything they watch or read and blindly follow arbitrary rules that make zero sense.

Great selection on a number of hard to find foods. This is a store on par with a Whole Foods or a Sprouts only better. They carry a good variety of quality brands and have quite a few hard to find items. Their salad bar is fresh and filled with plenty of options. The staff is always warm and friendly. Nice relaxing vibe to the store.

Horrible service. I like this place but the service sucks. I have been to the deli several times. Instead of making my sandwich and finishing it. They start helping other customers and then my order gets done after, I end up waiting 8 -10 minutes. When you only have 30 minutes for lunch it cuts down on my time.This has happened to me several times. I am fed up and I dont go there anymore.

Gourmet groceries, sit n eat indoors, microwave saved my homeless life, on SECRET occasions. Received their food from local pantry. Salmon $36.00 a lb., Array of cheeses, cooked food, smoothies, appealin produce! They donate to the food pantry that with grace, assisted my life and survival. Friendly and colorful employees. I have seen the recent, snow moon set and pictured, that. The sun view is of beach within walking distance.Sun rise can almost be viewed from there. I do yoga at Ocean Yoga, (same parking lot.) Coffee at Market, after.

Staff are observing good distancing practices. Handi wipes are at the door. Aisles are wide, its not crowded, and there is a very good selection of quality goods. The produce is very good quality and very fresh.

The meat department offers fresh in house ground meats. Fresh. Grass fed beef as well. Aged meats good wine selections good beer selections. Indian food On Thursday rocks!

Oceana Market is like a local Whole Food or Sprouts, but better because it is friendly and unique. Yes, it carries all the vegan, organic, dairy free, gluten free, paleo, low carb, hemp chia garbanzo etc. a person can ask for. But personally I love that they have a good cheese selection, very good wine and liquor sections, a mad array of gifts for adults and children (they even carry toys which Ive purchased when I realized I was visiting some friends giftless!), and a lot of specialty gourmet items. Yes, you pay a little more, but even the frozen dinners are varied and tasty, more than you can find at Safeway. I dont do 100% of my grocery shopping here, but I visit at least once a month.

A little on the expensive side but easily the best grocer in town.

Well curated beer and wine selections in a nice store with Pacifica vibes. Hot food bar comes in handy for quick meals and they sell firewood. Selection of grocery items is health food focused and they have good, fresh produce.

Good place to go if you want your more organic based items, or just to support local. Prices are a bit higher than Safeway but its really handy if you dont want go down to Linda Mar or Manor and just need an item or two. Really extensive selection of cheese and beers as well.

Not going to lie, prices are high. Dont get avocados here, theyre always over ripe and inedible. But they have a better selection of organic products and international brands than other stores in the area. They now carry Wagyu beef at the counter if you like premium beef. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Checkout is quick.

Love Oceana Market. They have a fantastic deli and meat counter, hot counter and salad bar, tons of baked goods, the beer and wine selection is vast, fresh organic fruit and veg department, tons of vegetarian and vegan options and a pet store inside the market. I am outta breath now. Honestly- they have so much packed in a small place. I tell my clients it is Pacificas version of Whole Foods-

Great market. Out of the norm not your average typical grocery store. They have a complete deli-sandwiches are better than expected elsewhere speciality cheese counter,meat counter that butchers are available to guide and answer questions,wine/liquor that I never purchased but I would guess like all else in market there are great finds. I do not do weekly shopping here the prices are a bit high for my budget,but things I have purchased are items not found easily. There is also an extensive pet supply store within a store in the back of store that is operated by the old pet store once at Manor plaza so unlike pet aisles in grocery store you can ask questions and get sound advice for all your pet needs. Choices of food and treats saves time from stopping at pet store to find what you need. There is also a small child toy area that is well stocked with some interesting unique items. Seasonal finds,unique gifts,department store type items you can find here. A satisfactory produce area,bulk food dispensers,baked goods,food(entrees and salad bar) small cafe area u can sit and eat,with coffee bar. As said the place isnt for bargain hunters but if you know that going in you can enjoy looking around and discovering things you just have to buy

Despite, the small space, the gluten-free selection rivals Whole Foods.Cons:The produce section could use a bit more lighting, it is rather dark.I have purchased expensive food here and later realized it was expired - so make sure to check expiration dates!

Great variety, staffing ready to assist, great butcher, clean, love Peets Coffee and the bakery selection, fresh produce, whats not to like? A bit pricey but you get top notch what you pay for - like a mini whole foods near the Oceanside.

Oceana Market has some of the best tasting sandwich. They are simple yet refreshing! They also offer a delicious salad bar options including daily hot food made fresh from their deli! Check it out next time for lunch and ask for dutch crunch :)

Healthy food at unhealthy prices. I love the variety offered at this market, the customer service has always been outstanding as well. I do have to watch how often I visit since my wallet will suffer but this place has no competition in the area when it comes to fresh and healthy options.

I like Oceana Market. One of the reasons being the proximity from home, but also because they have products that cant be found in a Safeway (or probably Walmart).The store is located in a medium sized shopping area that hosts one (or two?) bar(s), a dry cleaner, a place that sells tasty bubble teas and more. Parking is always easy.When entering the shop for the first time it might take a bit to get around. The vegetable and fruit area is well maintained and carries a wide variety of produce. They also are fresh and presented in an inviting way.The deli section is a bit cramped, but that doesnt mean the products dont meet expectations. The Wine and Beer selection is bigger than I would expect in such a store. Im always overwhelmed when I want to buy something there.Generally the products and shelf can be hard to find. I must have missed the orientation or just dont understand the concept. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help me when I ask for something.They support Apple Pay and Android Pay, which is very convenient for someone like me who forgets his wallet at home on occasion.The reason I dont give 5 stars (and lean to 3) is the disappointing coffee corner. The lack of hygiene (often there are flies) in this corner and uninviting setup is a shame. It could be so nice to sit down for a coffee. The operator of the coffee corner doesnt meet the standard set by the rest of the store.

Wonderful prepackaged veggies. High quality mezcal. Lots of whole bean coffee but very limited ground coffee. Friendly servers. Cans of olives and clam juice.
