Friendly staff, great variety including items from local businesses. Clean, well organized. Prepared meals are great. I appreciate the cashiers and carry out staff. I understand economics, but I really appreciate real people.

A great little neighborhood grocery store here in the Lone Oak Community! Moderately to highly priced on almost all of their groceries it has a premium meat and deli department and a GREAT frozen food and dairy section to!

Outstanding customer in meat dept. Went above and beyond to help me with a bone in prime rib roast..on a Sunday afternoon..totally full service and i will most certainly go back. I went to 3 other groceries closer to me..found no butcher in house..really appreciated all the help in their meat dept. Other staff also helpful with other items..highly recommend. Very clean store, very upscale appearance for a grocery store. I also like that Banks is locally owned. The Produce department is gorgeous, and has an ambience to it that makes me enjoy selecting vegetables. It makes grocery shopping a very pleasant experience, rather than a tedious chore. I go there for their fresh sushi, but they have alot of other nice things I cant get in other places. The hamburger meat is the best I have had. Their butchers grind it fresh daily and mix the fat ratio themselves. It is insanely good. The first time I tried it, I was really surprised at the difference in taste from other grocery stores. For me, its worth traveling the extra distance to enjoy shopping at this store

Is it a little higher on some things? Yes. But the store is very well stocked. Very well staffed. Very clean and organized. My wife said she felt very safe in there. THATS WORTH THE EXTRA !!!

I’ve always loved shopping at Banks, but it physically hurts me to support them when I can’t enter the establishment without seeing that tall, slim, brown haired manager speaking to the employees like dirt. No wonder the turnover rate is so bad, they have absolutely no respect for those who are keeping the place up and running. Last time I went in I heard him getting onto someone for going to get water after pushing carts in from outside. “This isn’t your break there’s no reason you should have been in the break room in the first place I don’t care if you needed water.” Imagine getting in trouble for being thirsty, I wouldn’t wish employment at Banks on my worst enemy. Props to those who can handle it, but from what I’be seen I don’t think there’s more than 2 workers who have been there for more than 6 months; That alone speaks for itself.

I know its hard to get most of the mouth-breathers in this area to accept medical science and put a mask on. But when you let your Anheuser Busch vendor walk around and check out without one, its time to stop pretending. Its disingenuous to the people who do have the critical thinking skills to recognize precautions need to be taken during a global pandemic. Theres no point in having a sign saying masks are required out front at this point, you should post a warning sign stating we do not care about community health so the better educated people in the area know to avoid this place

Banks has always had a clean store and friendly service. Since COVID, it seems some of the friendly has disappeared.Self service would be great, but it can be super slow with the constant reminder to bag items (that are already bagged) and the looking up fruit, etc for pricing. Even with a couple of items it seems slow.And prices have risen significantly. Hoping this is just a temporary situation.In a positive note, the doughnuts are still the best!

Banks Market is a clean and spacious supermarket, it is easy on the eyes and the staff is nice and very helpful. The quality of the food is well above average, but the(Food) can be a little pricey.

Everyone seems to say that Banks is a bit pricey. However, I disagree. Banks has got the best selection of meats and for the best prices. Many things are less expensive than Walmart. You just have to know what you are looking for. Ground beef or ground chuck is almost aways on sale if you purchase a 5 pound package of it. Banks has the best chuck and pork roasts and bacon. Some things are higher but some things are less expensive like produce (cabbage in particular). I am disabled and I dont get out much. I like the fact that Banks has really nice electric carts. Staff is always friendly. One cashier saw I was short one dollar and gave it to me. I dont remember her name but she was a little older with short hair and glasses and petite. The check out guys are so nice. In particular, Mark, Gary, and Martin. Never NEVER underestimate the power of human kindness. It goes a long way.

An awesome bakery. With all kinds of delicious items

I seen a man come in the store with a backpack on, and he was shopping for food. a store manager named Tyler came up to him and asked him to give him the backpack so he could put it in the store office. The man told him no thank you then the manager followed him and insisted that he did or he would have to leave the store. The man then started to walk to the exit. Then the manager continued to follow him like he was some sort of criminal, while telling the man to leave or hes calling the poilce. All this while the man is walking towards the exit. The manager is calling the police as the man is leaving. And informs the police that the man is refusing to leave. But as I witnessed the man never refused to leave the store. Tyler showed terrible customer service and was very rude to the customer who was only trying to shop. For this I will never shop at banks market and will relay this message.

Allways CLEAN and nice employees prices are a little high but very quality food and meat. They are one of the few places with a Butcher there till 7pm. The best banna pudding

Always out of stock on something. Really gotten bad lately!! Beer department always out of something for a week on end and management doesn’t re-order half the time. Assistant manager when approached with a problem is rude and a smart@&$. If this store wasn’t close we would never shop here. There sister store cash saver is 10 times better. They like to put items on the dollar section and then move them and price them high. Can’t complain about the quality of products because that’s fine and the store is very clean. We are tired of having to wait for an adult to check us out because we are purchasing and adult beverage. Hire some adults please! Food always the same in the deli over and over but pretty good.

Apparently the staff all have medical degrees and can tell if a customer has Covid19. They accused a family member who has 1 lung due to cancer of having Covid19 and ban him from the store. He and his wife even went and got tested and went back to show Covid19 test was negative. Apparently the manager didnt care and still insisted on banning him. This is how Banks treat their older and disabled clientele. Shameful. I hope all the staff involved with this lose their jobs.

You can get some good buys if you watch the ads in the store. They do have the 5 for $19.00 on meat which is good and cans of vegetables are reasonable. Love the deli and its a clean store.

I stopped into Banks while I was in Paducah visiting family. The store was clean, and absolutely beautiful. Fresh produce, and a good selection. The staff was friendly. I would definitely shop here if I ever moved back to Paducah.

Great clean grocery. Produce is top of the line aswell as the bakery. Only down side is the cashiers at night are not that friendly. But still a great place to shop little more expensive than box store but cleanliness and departments are worth the extra bucks.

I love to shop here since it’s so close to my house, but it’s like Russian roulette when pulling up the the gas pumps. Which pump is going to read my multiple gas coupons? Only one most days! And then the computer wants to process second tickets as a credit card rather than another coupon. These pumps are in need of a major overhaul! This is the 3rd time I’ve had issues, please fix the ghetto pumps.

Hometown Market, neighborhood favorite. Some complain its higher than the big box stores, but with national competition volume pricing, Banks offers quality at a reasonable price, instead of cookie cutter food at a discount. Banks has name brands and store brands to choose from, a beautiful, clean meat department, well-kept fruits and vegetables, and a wonderful selection of alternative foods for those on a special diet. And the staff have really become friends over the years. Add to that the convenience of an in-store, well-staffed Davis Drugs and Banks Market is a great asset to Lone Oak and the greater Paducah area!

Good prices

I emailed them to inform that there was a staple in the chicken salad I bought. I was contacted the next day. It took them a week to contact me back after I sent them photos to show them the brand. They are just now dealing with the issue and taking this off the shelves and this is a week later. The only reason I gave two stars was because it is clean and they have a great bakery. The neglect to taking the product off the shelves has made me decide to not support this store anymore and it was the only place I shopped for quite sometime. I am just thankful that the staple was in my sand which and not my daughters. Very disappointing.

Great Mom and Pop type grocery. The meat is good, sale prices are great and the to-go sushi is the bomb for the price! The smoked meat is a HUGE addition, the smoked chicken is my favorite. So very glad Lone Oak has Banks Market!

Over the last two months my office chose to order custom cakes from the bakery. They were excellent and the edible printed design came out perfect. Each time the customer service was impeccable.

Went with my father-in-law, he shops there sometimes. Its a pretty clean grocery. The associates are nice and informinable on where items are in the store.

Beautiful store with a great meat and produce department but the gem is the deli where you can get hot foods, fresh sushi made to order, Boarshead deli meats and you wont find any better southern fried catfish cooked hot to serve all day. Shop the deals for best values as most items are a little higher than the big chains but this is a locally family owned grocery.

Banks is my go-to grocery. Things might be slightly more expensive than Walmart, but the convenience makes it worth it. The store is always clean, and the staff is always friendly. The produce is beautiful, and the flower/gift department is kind and responsive. I usually leave here with exactly what I was looking for and a smile on my face. They even do thoughtful stuff for the kids. A couple weeks ago, they had free watermelon and cheap lunch options grilled fresh outside. Thanks, Banks!

Good quality food. Youll spend as much or more than you would at Walmart. Where they shine and what makes Banks Market stand out is the made fresh sushi and the full deli with ham salad, chicken salad, and pasta salads amongst many other items.
