Im a Merchandiser. I go around to stores and set up displays and this store has amazing customer service and the employees are wonderful and inviting.

I was so disappointed in the selection of womens clothing. The styles were for 65 plus age group.... The boys section was even more disappointing. Mostly t shirts with graphics and out of style sweat suits. Come on JCPenney!! You can and usually do better!

Silly Payment options. Some things you can buy with cash, other things only plastic.

JC market share has dropped dramatically and I understand the importance of cutting cost... But you need brighter lights you want the environment to be bright and shopping conducive... It was a Debbie Downer they need to improve the lighting or shut the door.

This JCPenney was well stocked and was well laid out. I was able to find the items I needed pretty easy. I would have given this location 5 stars, but it seems JCPenney is plagued with less than nice floor reps. Granted we did find one that was very helpful. But others wanted to make sure and let me know that the shirts did not need to be unfolded....well i need to ensure it is the right size before I purchase it?? Outside of this I did make a purchase but it was not as easy as it should have been.

Not like it used to be...was n there Friday an could find a decent dress shirt.Looks like they clearing out ....or putting out old merchandise.....that store looks like on its way out....not be back any time soon

Wonderful place to shop,always clean lots of sales and the staff really show they care!!

We purchased a mattress set from JC Penney and our salesperson Jared was excellent! There was a mistake made and he went above and beyond to get the issue fixed. The company behind the JC Penney card were making the problem worse but Jared finally after a week was able to get the issue resolved.

Low stock on coffee makers that they advertised for Memorial Day. They didnt have any of them. Why advertise it if youre not going to stock them.

One of the best places to find and buy your clothes you need and that will fit you well. Also, they have several on sale at very decent prices most always. Personally for me, it is basically the only place I can buy pants that fit me even though some are pretty expensive.

Sales clerk was able to save me money checking for sale prices and using an xtra coupon he had. But had diff finding a place to check out, most registers r closed.

Horrible. 2 people were working in the pick up area. We were shopping in the bedding which is right next to pick up area. We were literally the only people on that side of the store. I should have taken a picture for proof. They told us we couldnt check out there and had to walk across the store to womens, mens, or Sephora. None of the three check outs had people working them. The staff was out in the store doing other things. I can understand them cleaning and straightening their areas, bit not so far away we had to go searching for them. Once we found someone and finally rang up the price came up differently. Lady was not helpful and I didnt want to argue so I paid the $5 difference. I walked out the store and noticed 4 couples in there shopping. NO WONDER THEY ARE CLOSING SO MANY STORES. not yelling at you, just out of frustration towards JCPENNEY.

We had trouble getting assistance at the jewelry counter.and after we completed our business there the jewelry manager followed us to the menswear department while we looked for a new tie 😳 when I asked for his assistance in that department he said he couldnt because he was in jewelry 🤔 I think they need to be very careful with their stereotyping. I dont dress up in my very best to go shopping, I tend to be shopping for items for church or special occasions not wearing them 💁I will give them one more chance but if I dont get better assistance I will be happy to go down to Dillards to do my shopping in the future~

I ask a sales clerk for help in finding what I was looking for, she quickly stopped what she was doing and took me over to exactly what I wanted, asked me if I needed anything more I said no so she took me to a register and checked me out. Was a great experience. I commend JC Pennys for cross training their associates. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I dont understand how they are still in business. I needed a mattress and they could not tell me if I bought one how long it would take to get.

I think I remember when this place had stuff I wanted to buy. They tried something new a few years ago, but unfortunately didnt stick with it. Now its back to too many racks of cheap sales own clothes. Leaner more curated content was a better choice. It definitely could use a paradigm shift. Maybe more home goods and service oriented concierge shopping? Who knows. It needs to move upmarket. It cant compete on value positron,and it cant hold outs weight upscale. Maybe they make money on all those tacky racks of costume jewelry . The whole store is centered around that. Weird.

I enjoy shopping at JCPenney in Ky Oaks Mall. The last three times I have shopped here all of the staff were super helpful and kind. They went out of their way to make sure our shopping experience was a great one. They offered coupons and helped us search for items at other stores. Working retail for many years myself it is nice to have associates who are helpful, kind and willing to help

Good variety for a smaller town store. Always clean, friendly service and good sales. Applied for a JC Penney card and got 40 percent off. I had a $10bonus from my points card. Got $151 for $ 48!

Hadnt been shopping there in some time. They had lots of things on sale at great prices. They people that work there were very helpful. All and all,it was a great experience and I was able to make a number of purchases. Did a lot of gift shopping and also a few new articles for myself.

I was happy with my visit at JC Penneys in Paducah, Ky with such kind & helpful customer service. We watched how rude customers wereBut, in the midst of this, a wonderful young crew member broke down with appreciation as we told her how tough she was. Much love to Ery and her assistant manager how much the two were being harassed. They kept speaking kind remarks and kept doing their jobs. Ten stars isnt enough!

If you use a debit card do not expect an immediate refund. I have been waiting for several days. This is not the first time.

Took the sale paper, prices were not marked as in sale bill. When I checked out, I asked if I could use the coupon from the sale bill, she acted like she knew nothing about it. She said, is it good now? I showed her that it was. She told another clerk she was ready to go home. Very unprofessional! Not like Pennys at all.

I am a bigger female and all the clothes they had in larger sizes look like something a grandmother would wear. Just because were larger doesnt mean we want to dress like senior citizens.

I really enjoy JCPenny, its a store you can go into look and feel what your buying. I DO NOT order or buy anything on line simply you dont know what quality you will receive and then having to return and wait for something else to come in. I dont do places like Walmart except sometimes for food. I bought a microwave 3-19-19 great buy, great quality. I live 27 miles from the Murray Ky. Store and 42 miles from the Paducah Ky. Store which is the one Ive been to twice this week. They do have excellent sales going on right now!
