Nice people, limited stock, plenty of consignment stock

Visited this store May 11th. The owner was very knowledgeable and had a very good inventory of modeling supplies for all skill levels (super detail as well as beginner). Did not have a lot of L&N supplies which is the road I model but he was very well versed on their rolling stock, operating history, and merger dates. I purchased 2 Tangent cars (first time buying that brand) and I am extremely happy with their quality.

Good model railroad store. Very large selection of new and vintage equipment. One of the largest railroad book libraries that Ive seen, and the owner is very helpful if you are looking for a specific part, loco/rolling stock or book. Well worth a visit.

BUYER BEWARE !!!!! Note: If I could rate in the negatives; I would.Stay away from this place unless you just enjoy throwing money away. I try not to normally bash a place; but this man is as arrogant and rude as one could possibly imagine! He offers no in-store credit, exchanges or refunds (except for high-dollar Kato items; at his discretion.) This guy offers terrible customer service and basically buys all used items; sells them for new prices. Purchased some used locomotives trying to just get started up in the hobby; they basically fell apart and stopped working. Begged the man for exchange, repair, whatever he could do. His response... youll just have to add them to your scrap yard; what did you expect me to do? WOW !!! I dont know of any store that expects you to pay your hard-earned money to him with absolutely NO guarantee of exchange, repair, replacement or refund..... who does business that way?Ill be praying God shows mercy to this man. He may be stealing peoples money now; but he will answer for his practices later! In the meanwhile; just order online and save your money and to protect your investment; deal with a reputable place that guarantees their products. From now on; Fast Freight & Hobbies, here in Paducah, is the only local place I will shop!Shame on you and your theft of peoples money !!!!!!!!!!
