If the employees only were knowledgeable. I have been in the store on three occasions to purchase another gallon of pain which I purchased last fall, got the round around each time. Finally on the fourth time I was told it was a special order product at their location. I will shop Lowes for now on, they have never been out of stock of paint!

I called to order 5 gal. of paint. I was asked when I ordered if I wanted a 5 gal bucket and I told them that I didnt want a 5 gal bucket, but 5 ea. 1 gal. containers. (My husband and I have bad backs and cant handle a 5 gal. bucket.) When I went to the store to pick up my order, they brought out a 5 gal. bucket. I told them that wasnt what I ordered and was told that the paint couldnt be returned because it had been tinted. I wasnt returning it, because I didnt order that. They told me the 5 gal. bucket was cheaper. I told them I didnt want it - I wanted 5 ea. 1 gal. buckets. So, their solution was to pour the 5 gal. bucket into 1 gal. buckets, which they said was their only solution. Then they charged me for 5 ea. 1 gal. containers.Normally, that solution would have satisfied me, but the attitude of the employees really got to me. They never admitted to making a mistake and acted like the whole thing was my fault.

Extremely personalized service! A very helpful guy, I never felt rushed in any way & he helped me find the perfect color trim to compliment the wall color I had my heart set on when I was stuck. Great experience! You won’t find that at Lowe’s or Home Depot!

Ive gotten paint at a number of big box stores and did alright...but there is just no comparison to the professional advice I received at Sherwin-Williams. The knowledgeable staff promoted confidence in the purchases I made and will continue to make as I paint the interior of my new home.

Brought in cabinet doors (and showed the Paducah store manager the contractors contract)to be sent to their labs, on the advice of Murry store manager after failing scratch test contractor used their premium products. Paint scrapes off with finger nail. Was told by murray store and Paducah storemanagers it wasnt properly prepped. Even their boss Jason Merriss the area professional coatings and flooring rep would not put in writing it was improper preparation. In my opinion the most unprofessional company protocol Ive ever seen! I would guess they would prefer selling their products to contractors who dont follow their guidelines to use, than represent the consumer who ends up with peeling paint, practally falling off the walls or cabinets? Beware, Eric the Murray store manager stated they would send door samples to Sherwin Williams lab to test the paint, and primer thickness down to the micron level, but changed their mind? Not shure. They( store managers) said no need, it was obvious j Smallwood paintingdid not prep, prime,nor put 2 coats of their premium paint on the kitchen cabinet door samples I left with them. Its shocking to me that a national company would not test or look out 4 the interest of the end consumers of their product!
