Went on a Sunday morning before noon and it was not crowded and still cool in temp. Was looking for pots to replant my new dwarf citrus trees. Good selection and deep enough. Also checked out their decorative rock choices and deals. They have some cute roadrunner and quail yard art on display too.

This was the first time shopping at this nursery. They have a variety of everything nursery. I was able to pull my red wagon with my selections. I really enjoyed having a wagon as my cart! Great idea! I was able to get everything I needed and then some.Lolol I am currently starting a vegetable garden. The line was a little long but they were new employees that just needed a little understanding and patience. I definitely remember starting a new job, I certainly didnt know everything and I wasnt very fast either. I will definitely continue to shop here for all my gardening needs. Roses are on my next trip.

The world needs more people like that who show empathy and compassion. I cant say thank you enough for the super excellent service they provided me. Bad. I went Nd get a couple plants.. I got me only the ones on sale....so I figured how much am. Gonna spend. Less then $30... ND they charged me almost $50...Isnt the first time...so be careful ..with those SALES. ON NURSERY GARDEN.

The only solid place in Pahrump Ive found to get quality plants and trees. We purchased 11 trees from them. All of them are growing well and looking great!! Some of the smaller plants Ive purchased (like herbs and strawberries) arent doing the best, but that could be my fault. My green thumb is still developing!! :) Star also has a good selection of reasonably priced pottery of all sorts. Im happy with all purchases Ive made through them!

I’m very disappointed about our visit today. We had some questions about gravel and ask for help from an employee. First we got send away to a different employee, after we found the to us described employee we ask politely for help. The person did not greet us, did not look from her current activity which was sorting plants, she answered our questions in rude and short sentences which gave us the feeling that we should know it already. She send us away again to look at the gravel yard by ourselves. Afterwards we ask again the lady at the check out about the rock price calculation- she was also not able to help us further in detail. At the end we left the place without placing an order. It looked like they don’t want our business of approximately $ 5.000. Sad, very sad!

Lots of nice plants, prices a bit high though.

I bought over 6 truck loads of top soil to put in my garden. I lost about 80% of my vegetables and herbs because it only has dirt,sand and wood in it. I am so mad because now I have to get more soil to put in my garden, I have to spend another $200.00. To get good soil.

Always good selection and friendly enough staff. Decently priced and located. Will continue to shop here.

The Pahrump star nursery does not care AT ALL, that the customers standing in endless lines for checkout do so BROILING in the sun...not an inch of shade provided. I`m fed up with their disdain towards the public....Home depot is an all around superior experience.

Star Nursery is the ONLY place we buy plants in Nevada. They won’t carry plants or trees if they won’t survive in our area. All their plants carry descriptions which is helpful when choosing plants and trees. Their newsletter is a great source for garden tips and timely information. They have several locations. We don’t bother to go anywhere else.

Each time I have gone to Star, I have been pleasantly greeted, offered assistance, and, most importantly, felt comfortable with all of my purchases.

Read until the end.....I always done business with this company for years in different locations in Las Vegas and they always have been good to me but nothing out of the extraordinary, two years ago I moved to Pahrump and I met Lindsey the manager, she is amazing, she truly cares about the business and her customers like no other, she makes you feel like you are part of her family and she is a problem solver. Very hard to find people with her passion, dedication and knowledge. Let me tell you something that recently happened at that store and you will see that I’m not kidding about her.I ordered 15 tons of rocks on Monday to be delivered on Wednesday. On Wednesday after calling the store several Times to find out the delivery time at 2:30pm someone called me back telling me that they ran out of rocks and they can’t deliver today but they will try to get more rocks tomorrow morning. I had workers already scheduled to do work on Thursday morning so I had to cancel, which it cost me extra money. I was told that as soon as the rocks arrive to Pahrump on Thursday it will be sent to my house so I wait again the whole morning, no calls, every time I called the store I was put on hold by diferente employees 10, 12 and 9 minutes and nobody had an answer. So I call Lindsey, she had been sick at home for several days, when I told her what was going on she felt terrible, she left home to go to the store to take care of the problem, obviously the assistant manager couldn’t follow directions neither represent her and the company the way she should, to the point that the manager has to handle the problem herself being. Lindsay fixed the problem in minutes, the rock was at the store sitting for hours :( looks to me that they were doing this in purpose as soon as Lindsey got to the store the trucks started to deliver the rocks to my house (Jordan the driver was great). So She was sick at home for days and she made the time to fix this problem that was important to me.... so if you are not happy with something or someone when you visit the Pahrump store, don’t let that bad experience ruin your day, ask for Lindsey she will take care of you and I mean that!

Decent place to buy plants but they pick and choose what days to sell their soil its ok quality and for them to decide not to sell it randomly on a week day is frustrating. Not because they are sold out or anything but just not selling it today.

Star nursery is a wonderful place. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I have never had a bad experience with the All-Star staff. I am not a professional landscaper by far. They make me look pretty good with their knowledge and quality products

Pottery is 50 percent off, I got 3 big pots for new bed in my yard and saved a lot of money!

We went to Star Nursery hoping to find plastic for our hoop house. The young lady knew the differences between the plastics and then showed us the exact pvc fitting we had searched Home Depot for. After I threw a burlap sack and a pot of Donkey Tail on top, my bill was still less than Home Depot would have been (if they still carried 6mm plastic 20X100).

I have purchased approx 8 trees from this place. I only have 4 left, the rest have died or are in the process. They will not come to help plant or deliver. They rarely have any people with knowledge past novice level on their lot.On the other hand we purchased 3 trees from MOON NURSERY in Henderson. They had so many staff on hand we were there less than 5 min before being driven out to the trees we were interested in by golf cart! Talk about service!!Not only did they deliver the trees but planted them and gave me advice concerning the Star Nursery trees that were struggling to survive. The MOON NURSERY crew literally save my cotton woods life, to which I am grateful.Star Nursery needs to send their workers to MOON NURSERY to learn customer service and how to care for trees/plants properly.Stop buying half dead trees from them, if the plant has NO LEAVES its NOT HEALTHY no matter what they say!I gave them two stars because the cashiers always friendly but thats it! Im done buying my trees from them!!

The only reason why I am giving Star 3 Stars is because of the great experiences I have had @ the Blue Diamond store. I asked the Pahrump store about a delivery and was greeted with a indifferent response after waiting all day for my delivery. Why wouldn’t you call your customers and let them know that you weren’t delivering today. It’s called “common courtesy.” I don’t mind waiting but I put off other projects (that I could be working on) waiting on this one. I will definitely look into other options for the rest of my needs... I may or may not use Star.

Visited this wanabe nursery. Prices are high, customers on phone take precedence over customers in line with cash ready to pay. This place needs an employee overhaul. Young, rude employees. They didnt earn my business. Dont waste your time dealing with their no customer service.

Not one employee had a face mask not to mention couldnt get any help from anyone. Wont be back and OSHA has been notified

This review is about a driver this morning around 9:45 on the roundabout. One of your truck drivers, I think it was a gravel truck pulled right in front of me at the entrance to the roundabout. You are supposed to yield to oncoming traffic, a lot of people dont, but he represents your company. Hire safer drivers, or make them take courses on how to avoid accidents. What a rude self minded person. Todays date is 01/ 04/ 2019.

Horrible service. The cashier walked away from us to talk to a customer/friend and was pointing and laughing at my sister. I will not be back. Not everyone looks the same or is like everyone else. No one deserves to be singled out, pointed at and laughed at. Cattiness has no place in customer service.
