Absolutely the worst dealership to buy a car at. This is a very honest review of how we were treated. We waited nearly an hour to be helped by a sales agent. On top is that when we finally get our turn the sales agent was extremely rude when we tried negotiating a price. We were having a civil discussion when he decided to raise his voice and talk in an aggressive manner. This dealership is the reason I will not be buying an Acura ever. I highly recommend no one going here to buy a car. The sales agent “Big Mac” or Roger is his real name is who we dealt with. Absolutely no professionalism in this guy. I hope he gets fired for his lack of respect for customers.

The sales rep Scott just told us to go buy a car somewhere else when looking to buy a new car to negotiate. I loved his honesty to tell me that he is rude and don’t have patience to sell cars. Thanks for making the experience the worst one ever!!! If you want to be treated rude, go see Scott. Can’t wait to buy a car somewhere else to show him that there are cars somewhere else. Scott, the sales rep sent me a text and voice mail stating that they will work on the deal so we went back, of course to get me back in… normal sales tactic…. I get there with family and Sales Manager, Adam and Scott tells me they are waiting for a phone call for another person if they want to buy it. They continue to argue with me on the sales floor about how I was rude that I was calling another dealer to see if they had a car, that’s why they were making me wait. Pretty much they felt the need to get back at me so they made me come back and argue. Crazy thing is that the sales manager Adam and Scott was arguing with me on the sales floor and denying that he left me a voice mail and text to close the deal. Well, the proof doesn’t lie and you can call or text them. If you want the best of the worst experience ever.

I bought an ILX brand new two years ago and my experience with my salesperson, RJ, was great! He was professional and friendly. The sales manager was also really nice. I returned recently (5/22/2021) for a two-and-a-half hour service. I called like four days prior to schedule my appointment and asked for a loaner car so I could drive home and return the following work day but the service manager said it would only take an hour so that wasnt necessary. Anyway, today (5/23/2021) I went to install a rear dash cam and when I entered the back I discovered all of these markings (pics accompanying this message) on the rear door sill, rear seats, rear door speaker grill, and the back of the front seats. I thought it was just mud or dirt or something so I tried to use a cloth with warm water to rub it off but that didnt work. The markings are ingrained and I think the damage is irreparable. I was there for a fuel-pump recall, oil change, brake disc cleaning, and tire rotation so I have no idea why anybody would have to be back there. I have been here like three times and the first time the oil change was done quickly, but every visit since it has taken a lot longer than they promise.

This is by far the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. I purchased a vehicle from here in March of 2021. The only good experience we had was our salesman Big Mac, he was kind and easy to work with. The rest of the place was a disaster. The finance manager was a complete jerk and extremely rude. We since have reported him to the general manager regarding how we were treated. I purchased a vehicle out of state. This dealership never sent the appropriate paperwork with to register the vehicle in my state. It took multiple calls which lead to leaving messages and no one would call back to finally making an extra 2.5 hour drive back to the dealership so someone could address the appropriate paperwork needed to legally drive my vehicle. This entire process of them giving us the run around took so long my temporary plates expired and we demanded new temporary plates when we were there. They also lost the second key to my vehicle so we then had to spend half our day at their partner dealership just to have a key programed. I will NEVER go back to this location and would advise others to be hesitant of their horrible customer service.

This is the first-time in over 20 years that i have not rated 5 stars. This is due to a new process for checking out a loaner vehicle. Like any new process i would expect wrinkles that need to be ironed out. It should not take 40 minutes of an attendant blaming her co-workers and the new process for the delays. Clearly not the right person for this job. Ill continue to drive 40 miles for my routine maintenance but i expect this new process to be streamlined.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WONT TO BE CHEATED. If there was a rating below 1 I would give negative to this dealership. They send me the price in writing today morning on 10/28/2021 for White Acura RDX 2021 tech package with Espresso interior. Jonathan manager was very professional no complaints for him or another manager Aldona. They were really good when we talked on the phone. When I mentioned about the quote I recd I in an email, Jonathan said we will work with you for the price in the email and also for extra $1200. So We went there thinking we will get around $46200 to $46500. We were made to wait for an hour by their sales rep not sure what his name his people call him Big Mac but I call big Jerk. He quoted me 49k+ and when I showed him the email with pricing given to me by his manager Aldona, he said that price I have in email is one year old. SERIOUSLY??? ISTHIS ETHICAL?? YOU DONT HONOR PROCE GOVEN BY YOUR MANAGER?? When I asked him to speak with Jonathan he rudely shouted that “we don’t want to sell you the car” and got up an walked away. Most rude, unprofessional, unethical People who don’t honor the price they gave us in writing. AGAIN THERE ARE WAY BETTER PROFESSIKNAL PEOPLE DON’T GO IN THIS PLACE.

We walked into Arlington Acura unsure of our options and right at the door we were greeted by a very pleasant member of staff who introduced himself as Big Mac and quickly made us feel very welcome ! He was very patient with us and kept saying he would only be happy if we got what we wanted! Contrary to what we know about car sales guys! It didn’t end there, even after we got what we wanted Big Mac called us the next day to check on us and just to make sure we loved what we got ! I have heard many negative things about this dealership but I tired to not listen and still went to purchase a car. I can honestly and truthfully say that they are not pleasant to work with. They were super rude and very unprofessional. They spoke to me like they were on the “street” with a very nasty tone like they are better than I am. Made me feel very stressed, and did not help with anything. They spoke in a way that I felt judged for the questions I was asking.A friend also purchased a car from them, and prior to buying the car they had said that the brakes and routers are new, they were not, took the car in after two month of purchase and the mechanic told and showed her how bad they were. She called to notify them that there is a safety protocol prior to selling a vehicle and that those needed to be changed. They obviously didn’t do that. She asked if she can bring in the receipt so they can take care of that “lie” they gave her when selling the car and they spoke badly to her as well. They are no helpful at all and make a human feel bad about even buying a car or for simply asking for help. Horrible. I hope they find some kindness in this cruel world.

Don’t get me wrong I had a great experience when I purchased my car sales and finance were very friendly and helpful.Only had my Acura for about five months until I traded it in for a Toyota. Nothing wrong with the car I just work at Toyota and preferred my wife to drive another Toyota.I barely used the extended warranty and my dealer has already paid the Acura off and still have not received a refund for my remaining unused balance on my warranty. I came to the store at the beginning of May to ‘cancel’ and get a refund. They had me wait in the store for over an hour until I finally walked into the finance managers office where he was sitting and speaking with a coworker. I signed a piece of paper to ‘cancel’ my warranty and he sent me out.I know the warranty is not officially canceled. I have the pay off for my Acura. This review will be 5 stars as soon as Acura of Palatine will officially cancel and have the 3rd party warranty company send me a check with my refund.

Poor condition vehicle, and even worse customer service. I chose to drive 50 miles to Arlington Acura because they appeared to be well-rated. I (naively) had a perception that a well established dealership is likely going to have premium price, but would sell a good product and stand behind it. I was right about the price, but not about the last two. I bought a 2011 Suburban on Saturday afternoon. I noticed fluid puddles under the vehicle and hard shifting Sunday morning. Concerned, I contacted the dealership on Monday and was told they would get back to me. At the same time I took the vehicle to a local shop, as I did not want to risk driving the distance to the dealership. Was told the transmission was 2 qts low on fluid, and the lines were leaking. In addition to the transmission leak, there is a substantial oil leak requiring oil to be added frequently. Called them multiple times, Service was nice but said I had to speak to Sales. left phone messages for the sales manager, text messages/calls to the salesperson, and messaged the general customer service contact. No one has ever gotten back to me. Meanwhile, if Id continued driving the vehicle in the condition they sold it to me in, I would have a blown engine and/or transmission. Not even a courtesy call to say Im sorry, you bought your vehicle as-is, its your responsibility simply nothing. Did they have to do anything by law? Probably not. Should they have taken some ownership? You be the judge.

Beware to anyone needing a loaner vehicle for extended maintenance. For years this was an easy process, but no longer. Today I had to go into a back office, print out my insurance card, enter a credit card, and photocopy my DL. Then after signing paperwork, we did a vehicle inspection where I was told to bring up any dents or scratch. At that point I said to forget it and just waited 2.5 hours. I did complain to management, who were professional, but I dont think anything will change. You are basically going through the process of RENTING a car for a few hours, which is a non-starter for me, even if no cost. Aamer in service was great as always.

1. I am a woman buying a car. They refused to lower the price more than $50 when I went in alone. My male significant other called in about a week later and they dropped the price $2500 immediately without hassle. The sexism they speak of at car dealerships clearly exists here. I should’ve not continued with my purchase after this, but I really wanted a hybrid MDX and not many dealerships in my area had them. Regrets…..2. My temporary plates were expired and I still hadn’t received paperwork for applying for my registration. For a whole week I called and called this dealership and there was never anyone available to help me. If I was pulled over, who would receive the ticket — ME. The person in charge of this - Daisy (name I was given) never answered calls and her voicemail box was full. I called at all times if the day and different days to try and catch her.After repeatedly calling for days the front desk would connect me to random managers and none of them would answer either. I should not have to beg for my paperwork that should’ve arrived two weeks prior. Additionally they were trying to charge me to extend my temporary plates - THIS IS YOUR ISSUE, not mine.3. I would say a good 25% of the workers there have no idea what customer service is. Rude and not helpful4. I bought the insurance from them - it’s 3rd party, WHICH THEY NEVER MENTIONED. This 3rd party site is 10x worse than this dealership…it is not reputable and they do not have any customer service. They have no legitimate website nor phone number if you have a claim. I submitted a claim in February 2021 and at the time of this review October 2021 I have received no response and no one answers their phone?? Why would Arlington Acura even offer this? Other Acura dealerships I have spoken to after the fact say they’ve never heard of this company and do not recommend it. Regret regret regret.I would never ever recommend buying a car from here. All the care about is money and it seems so shady there. I really wanted the MDX Hybrid and they were one of the few dealerships in my area that had one available, which is why I made my purchase. I regret my car purchase from them and let everyone know to never use them.

I just had the worst customer experience speaking with manager Gene who hung up on me and refused to give me his name. After three days of calling in to try to cancel my Driver Care Elite policy I was informed that I had to go back in-person, during a pandemic, to sign the form in person so it can be time stamped. No email, no fax, which is different than the policy that was explained to us when we purchased it. I live an hour away and am not able to go in. What kind of customer service is this??? Do NOT purchase this policy and I would avoid this dealership if you are able to…

AVOID this dealership!! Buying a car from this dealership was one of the worst experiences I have had. They refused to honor the pricing on their website. Given the used car market and the fact that we had driven several hours on short notice to get there, we bought the car anyway. They told us to fill out their loan application and that they would just tear it up. They didnt work with my bank to get the money, didnt return multiple calls from me or my bank. When I finally got someone on the phone they were extremely rude and wanted me to do something entirely different than what we were orginally told. Eventually my bank got a hold of them and they requested that paper check be mailed. When I didnt receive the title paperwork from them I tried to contact them again. Multiple messages and no call back. Finally after two weeks of driving around with expired temporary plates, I emailed every manager on their website and got a response. They said they lost the check and I had to work with my bank to get a new one sent. About 7 weeks after I bought the car I finally got my title paperwork. I would NEVER return to this dealership. Avoid at all costs if you can.

If I could post zero stars I wouldLast weekend, my wife and I took our Acura RDX to Arlington Acura in Palatine IL. to use the free detail we got when purchasing our RDX there a few years ago. We were provided a loaner as our car might be held overnight. On our trip home, a representative from Arlington Acura called us to discuss other service work that could be performed on our car. He went through a lot of our car’s service history. We were curious about that call as we take the RDX for service to Advantage Acura of Naperville. My wife called Advantage Acura of Naperville and asked about our service. The service receptionist said “oh… your husband just called”. This of course wasn’t the case as I was sitting right next to my wife. We asked the Advantage Acura of Naperville service receptionist for clarification as it made no sense to us. She repeated, a man stating he was me, using my name asked for our RDX service records. We asked for the phone number used for that call. It was a number used by Arlington Acura in PalatineWe determined that the service technician from Arlington Acura in Palatine called Advantage Acura of Naperville and posed as me, using MY NAME in order to get our service records and try to make a sale for his dealership. This is unethical, is fraud and is illegal. My wife spoke with the servcie rep. who was remorseless and denied everything. Management at Arlington Acura in Palatine seemed to pay lip service to our concern, nothing more. I feel this is the culture there and that they’re rotten to the core.Finally, as an added bonus, the car detail they performed inhouse was performed exceptionally poorly. The bird dropping that was on our windshield before dropping it off was still evident when we picked the car up. Ridiculous. They are as dirty as it gets. Avoid this unethical dealership at all costs. A dark cloud hangs over this place and influences everything they do.

Couldnt believe the sales manager and the sales rep were arguing with a family on the sales floor. Who tells a customer that they are waiting on a call for a sale on the car thats in the sales floor? What sales manager tells a customer that he doesnt have a business card and threats a customer that they are recording a video on their cell phone. Terrible business. I walked right out and went to Acura in Schaumburg to buy a car from them and guess what, they were there also, buying a car there!!!

This is the WORST dealership that I have ever worked with. My wife and I have dealt with nothing but incompetent employees! We have had issues since day one, and have attempted to contact various employees to help remedy our simple issue. I would highly recommend going elsewhere! This dealership posted false advertisement with Auto Trader. I drove 30 miles one way to purchase the vehicle at the price listed with Auto Trader. Once there, the advertised price was not available. The price was $5,000 more than listed on Auto Trader. Day off work, 60 miles in traffic. Very disappointing.

I am actually surprised that this dealership has positive reviews. Maybe its my bad luck but I did not have a good experience with the sales team - guess it was the internet sales team that I was interacting with. My interactions were limited over text messages with them.I had requested for lease quotes for the 2021 RDX. They did share high level numbers over the text and mentioned that they have shared some lease quotes with me. I assumed that they were sent over email. Since I did not see any email from them, I requested them to resend the quotes. I thought they would just resent it and inform me, unfortunately I was surprised to see a long text saying that there are no further details to share. What really ticked me off was when they said I appreciate you trying to get the best deal but I am not going to send out better numbers so they can be brought to one of our smaller competitors - we are the highest volume Acura dealership in IL and have been for a decade - you are always going to get the best deal right now but you need to be here in person and willing to drive a vehicle off our lot - in fact - you can bring any offer and we will beat it.I dont think I had asked for a better offer but just to resend the lease quotes sent earlier. And if I am buying a $40K+ vehicle, I would want to get the details so that I get a better understanding of the deal structure. Not sure what made them think otherwise but this response really made me feel that they do not value their customers. One might be the largest dealership but they should never forget that it is the customers who have made them the largest. Hence, no matter what, one needs to be humble in all their interactions.I just hope that other customers have a better experience, but unfortunately for me, I did not and unfortunately for the Highest Volume Acura Dealership in IL, they lost a potential customer for ever.

I had given a 1 star review. Unfortunately I couldnt get into my acct to change. Though there was some miscommunication(on their part) all in all, this dealership stepped it up. From pricing, to financing and to dropping car off. Most likely wouldve given a 5 had they been a bit more diligent in getting my paper work to me. I live in Wisconsin so getting my plates before the temps expired was a challenge. Something I think they need to offer. 1st time I had to do all the legwork. In the end, would recommend and definitely buy from them again.

Look like all Bob rorman owned dealership use false information and pressure tactics make money. We have bought 2 Acura TLX from the dealership, my father went to finance lease ending Acura. First they added on several nonsense fees to end total. Told him he cant take car home. Because they own it.And the crazy thing is lease maturity date is not until another week. My sister had a similar experience in Schaumburg Ford owned by same group. Locked her and my brother in law in room used pressure tactics to buy a car. Even asked for a payment for there time because they couldnt come to an agreement. At this point I think they racially profile there customers and take advantage of them.

Great experience buying a used car from here. This was an inexpensive used Honda for a teen driver. My Sales person was Adrian P. and he treated us like we were going to buy a $60K Acura. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, professional and just genuinely a great person to deal with with incredible life experience. We had a fast and easy buying experience and were done quickly and fairly, As we drove home late Sat evening, check engine light came on. I called Adrian right away and since it was late, he promised they would do all they could for me and got me an appointment monday with a loaner. On Monday they took in the car and called me within a couple of hours to let me know it was the catalytic converter and its $900. I called Adrian again and he took care of all the back and forth between service and sales and his sales manager approved the fix for me at no cost. That was incredible to hear and i was very appreciative of their integrity. Adrian was the help line throughout. May car was repaired and ready for me the next day and i got to enjoy the new Acura loaner in the meantime to do my daily commute. Thank you all for this great experience. You earned a customer!

I walked in and I was very nervous and Scott came up to me and made me laugh and showed me a Toyota Avalon Hybrid that will save me a hell of a lot in gas and told me not to get the Mercedes that I came in to get bc I’m in my car for easily 12 hrs a day. My note to Ryan and Chase!As long-time buyers of Hondas from the Schaumburg dealership ( 2 cars) and now a customer of Arlington Acura (1 car) and Lexus of Arlington (service), I was very appreciative of the attention provided by Sergio Ramos (Sales) and Derek Jordan (Finance) . Sergio, especially went above and beyond with our purchase of a CIVIC LX a few weeks back. There was a mix-up with the final purchase statement and it was nicely addressed by Sergio. Derek also did a fine job in the final walk-through. As a side note, the dealership revealed there was only 1 key and made it right by providing a second key. Finally, the 2014 Civic LX was subjected to our own buyer inspection after the purchase was completed and no issues-Thank you!Overall, it was a very good buying experience, aside from the uniqueness in used car prices today- not your fault! Purchased new vehicle on 7-29. Disappointed with lack of customer service provided. Once we agreed on terms, they walked me out with keys and envelope with temp registration. I had questions regarding my purchase which were not explained to me. They knew I purchased out of state, I wanted to know how to pay for tolls and also where the finance docs were. Apparently the financing terms were all on USB that they gave to me (never mentioned). Youll see how many times I called the dealer and was directed to voicemail or left my info and never received a call back as they said they would. Its like there is no protocol and they give you the round about, no one knows who can answer what. If the acura dealer in town had the car I wanted, I would not have came here. Spoke to financing manager this morning at 1030am to finally cancel my warranty contract, who assured me he would email the docs TODAY. Now it is 730pm, dealership is closed and Ill have to call AGAIN tomorrow.*update, it took a week to get a hold of someone to email me the form to cancel the warranty package. It took him less than a minute to do it. Why the original finance manager never did it beats me. He must have been upset I wanted to cancel since he was the one who sold it to me.*2 month update since I purchased the car, still have not heard anything back about warranty cancellation even though it was submitted a month ago!! Called autoguard company that it is through, they said its still pending from the dealer so they cant do anything until its processed. I emailed the person who emailed the form to me last week, havent gotten a response. Well now Im playing phone tag with them again to figure out whats the hold up. This dealer is a freakin joke.

Before buying a brand new car consider little massage as a warning, Value your money, we bought a 2021 Acura TLX Aspec edition with the most expensive extended warranty without giving us the full detailed word written in the warranty. Now we are claiming two weeks ago and we were denied it doesn’t reconcile what they told us in verbal because we trust every single person in our lives.Be careful always to Arlington Acura in Palatine
