Alwsys do a great job on my mower

After bringing my mower to R & J Power equipment to get a second option, I’m happy I did so because they were honest about everything and gave me options on repairs. It was going cost more then I planned on because the age and condition of the mower so they gave me a option on a zero turn mower one of which I have been waiting for a while. It has was delivered today at my house and I’m very happy with it. Thank you to the crew over at R & J you all are great and I will keep using you in the future for any repairs.

Great place if you need parts for lawmores

All I get from these people is lip service. They had my mower for a week when I called the first time to check. They said they only had it a week and would work on it the following week. I called three weeks later and was told I was on the top of the list ???. When asked when I would be updated they said the following day, which of course i was not called. So I called back the following day and was told they were waiting for a part, I have never heard of nor did this part come up an internet search. They also claimed due to the virus shipments were show. I work for one of the big box hardware store and for the past serval months they are NOT experiencing delayed shipments any more. They want to blame the virus for there poor customer service.They took my mower with no intentions of looking at it right away. If they were honest and told be of such an extended wait time I would have taken it some where else or fixed it myself. ( It is under warranty)I dont believe they are an honest business and would suggest people go else where. Very bad service!

Scam artists.They took our rider mower in there and they charged 85 bucks to look at it and said the transmission was bad and said they would do us a favor and haul it off for us. My son looked at the mower and all it needed was drive belt. Its now running better than ever.

I took my weed-eater in for repair a month ago and was told it would take about a week to be repaired. It has now been a month and I have made several calls with only to hear we are waiting on parts. When I was called to say what parts was needed I agreed to get the repair done and was told the parts would be in and the repair should again only take a week . WOW not the type of service I was expecting . The excuse of waiting on parts is getting old - I would like my weed-eater repaired. If only the company would have called me saying there were delays which they did not

DONT GO TO LOWES or HOME DEPOT! You can deal with someone one on one, feel like a person (not cattle) and on top of all that, you get a better price and support a local business. I bought a hustler mower which turned out to be awesome and perfectly suited for my needs. The owners and employees are honest, knowledgeable and patient. If someone gives this place less than 5 stars dont trust the reviewer!

Had to take our mower in for repair as we bought it at Lowes, (it was still under warranty) but wouldnt start. Of course what needed to be repaired wasnt covered by the warranty so we had to pay to have it repaired. My husband picked it up for me as he had the truck that day. Tried starting it and it wouldnt start. It took my husband 4 times before it would start and then it just didnt sound right. I tried again today as I needed to cut the grass where the riding lawn mower wouldnt go and after 30 minutes of trying to start it, it wont. I wish my husband would have had them start it before he left their shop. Called and they said to bring it back in but its over 30 miles so Ill just take it to someone closer. Very frustrating indeed. The people at the location are nice but I feel they should show you that the mower is in working order when you pick it up. If my husband couldnt have started it at the shop, we would have left it there then.

We purchased a large Cub Cadet tractor mower from this company. After 2 years, we find their front office makes false promises and often only relays half the information to other departments. Appointments to pick up are often rescheduled, not just once or even twice, but more. Promises to return the Cub Cadet have also not been met. We had to pay, three times for pick-up service for the same problem which they returned without addressing. Only on the last time, when the part was completely broken, did they fix it. When the office called to tell us what was owed, I was rudely told a small discount was given. It did not make up for our lost time, or the charges for pick up and repairs that reaped no benefit.Now once again, they made a promise to pick up on Tuesday but did not. It was rescheduled for Thursday and I was now told there was a 2-week lead time. Given other lead times offered previously and not met, I began to fear the worst. I called this morning to see if they could clue me in on when they were coming so I could make plans for the things I needed to do. At first, I was told it would be after 11AM, then she said it could be earlier and the driver would call ahead. I could hear the flip flopping happening again.I decided to do some research and found another company that would pick up today and have it back in 3 to 4 days, and the pick-up/delivery charge is half the price that RJ Powers charges. Not two minutes after I get off the phone the driver for RJ Powers calls to tell me he is at the locked gate which is 1000 ft. from the house. I apologized to him and offered to come up and open the gate so he would not have to back out the long driveway he had already come. The driver is always professional and courteous. He was told I was expecting him between 11 and 12 and there was no need to call.I then receive a call from the owner who wants to know why I wasted his time. Certainly not the best way to start a conversation with a customer, assuming you value their business. I tried to explain but was immediately cut off and told he knows what the lady said to me because he was right there. This company needs to learn how to be more organized and stop promising things for the sale without proper follow through. They need to learn how to listen and relay information properly. When an owner will be rude to a customer, man or woman, and will not listen, then he didn’t call to find out what problems he may have with his company, he just called to give me a hard time. This is not what I expect from any vendor.

I bought a mower from them and they stood by the warranty and service, and every question I have asked about the mower 110%It has really been a good experience dealing with the owners and how comfortable they make you feel when youre in their shop
