I had purchased Brownies for a friends birthday in March 2021 . I recently had a visit from my friend and asked how she and her husband liked them. Her husband had a strange look on his face and nudged my friend he didnt want her to tell me that neither of them liked the brownies. They ended up just throwing them away. She and I have been friends for many years and I felt so bad I have never known her to ever turn down a brownie.

Horrible experience!Ordered 12/4/18 for guaranteed delivery by 12/21for Christmas. Never arrived. Finally called them directly at their Palestine tx location on 12/27. She said they would get it right out. I said No cancel the order. They sent anyway it arrived Jan 4 to late for the event and when I protested with my credit card company they lied and disputed the cancel. =NEVER AGAIN!

The praline pecan pie is like eating a large version of the best praline you have ever tasted anywhere. You dont need to serve a large slice... its rich... but the general opinion was it is amazing. Order it. Worth the price.

Horrible experience!Ordered 12/10/18 for guaranteed delivery before Christmas. Never arrived and tracking says only a label was created. I emailed them, messaged them on fb, and left 2 messages via their 800 number with no response. Finally called them directly at their Palestine tx location on 12/26. No apologies just said it runs late sometimes. She said she would research it more and call me back in 2 days. No callback and now tracking number says shipment cancelled. I had 4 people I was sending their product to.NEVER AGAIN!

Both of my international orders never arrived, Mary of Puddinhill should inform the customer that the orders sent may or may not arrive. Very disappointed with their customer service, no refunds or policy changes mentioned or given but I wanted to put this feedback out there for other people who have loved ones in Germany or in England as these were the places I put an order to. Left a bad taste in customer service experience. Will be more careful next time sending Christmas Gifts. Mary of Puddinhill, you are an awesome baker, please stop your international sending so others dont also lose their money.

Customer service is very disappointing. I have ordered from them for many years, but this is my last order due to them waiting a week to ship an order that was placed on December 12 and not notifying me there would be a delay. Nothing on the website indicated there would be a delay. As of today, December 27, the recipient has not received it.

BE AWARE - this place closes at 3PM Mon-Thur and 2PM on Friday. I arrived at 3:13PM on a Thursday. There was another putative customer already knocking on their door in frustration. I guess theyre serious about their closing time.

Customer service doesnt exist. You have to leave a message and they are suppose to call you back, but dont. When I eventually did get a call back, was told my product would be shipped out that day, and it still hasnt gone out a week later. After having problems last year, I placed my order on Nov. 20th this year and its now Dec. 19th and my order still hasnt shipped! They just out and out lie. It is so sad because Mary of Puddin Hill was part of our Christmas for over twenty years. We will never order from the new company again. Theyve taken a wonderful company and driven it into the ground.

These arent the fruitcakes I remember. All they are is dates and nuts. They certainly dont look like their pictures. Very disappointed!

Customer service is non-existent. They couldnt get an order correct if they tried and you never get refunds for incorrect orders. They never reply to emails or act like you dont know what you are talking about when you have a complaint. Dont bother ordering from this company.
