My wife and I have had Palestine Optical fill our eyeglass prescriptions for the last 15 years. I have Had excellent customer service and help in picking out a frame. They always take the time to fit the frames for us. I have broken two pairs of glasses and their warranty paid for replacements. We are waiting on them to open back up ( due to the Covid 19 pandemic) to get new glasses.

Being an artisan bladesmith my eyesight must be accurate so I am a regular patron of the optics industry purchasing contacts, safety glasses, and prescription shields. Today was my first visit to Dr. Nguyen and the Walmart vision center. It was not what I expected. I went in to get a quick prescription so I could order some safety glasses. Dr. Nguyen took the time to get a good understanding of my craft and my personal needs. He sent me home with 2 contact samples to aid in selection and fit. He also recommended several different options for work glasses and safety gear. Dr. Nguyen was very much In Process when helping me and I left feeling very positive about my eyesight. Mrs. Melinda in the vision center was very helpful in helping me select safety glass frames and lenses. She has a great knowledge of lenses and coatings and made me feel very confident in my lens selections. Overall a great experience. I went in for a quick script and ended up getting contacts and safety glasses for less than I have been paying. Great Personal service by knowledgeable staff, good prices, quality products.

Its not a fashion show, they like to tell you what to buy based on what it looks like on you, just let people buy what they want to, they shouldnt care about what you buy, its been that way since I was about 10 terrible customer service skills

The people who work here have poor customer service skills im trying to order new glasses and i was ignored for 30 minutes and now every time she can the lady whos working with me who also doenst have a name badge on conveniently or at least in view and she keeps jetting off on her mobility scooter to do other stuff while in the middle of ordering new glasses and she talks over me very rude if something isnt changed i will NEVER buy glasses from here again id rather go to Tyler and spend more for better service
