I made an appointment for a covid booster shot on the CVS website for last Saturday at the Palestine location. After a 40 minute drive to get there the pharmacy tech said they only give shots monday-friday and to come back asa walk-in to get the shot. What is the point of taking the time to do a online confirmed appointment to only be turned away. I am a senior and felt very frustrated as I walked out.
If I could give zero starts I would. I have been trying to get a hold of someone in the pharmacy for 4 days now. Ive tried calling the front end and get someone to go back there to tell them to pick up their phone and they have not. This is insane. I shouldnt have to call my doctor to have my prescriptions sent somewhere else. Ive also been trying to get a hold of their corporate offices and still can not reach anyone.
They will not answer the phone sometimes for over an hour wait and then put you on hold and then you hear someone pick up the phone and, bam, youre disconnected. I was recently told why my medicines kept showing in the app in process for 6 days and their response was, oh, were 5 days behind. I suggested they hire more people. But instead, they closed the pharmacy hours during the night when pharmacists were actually getting scripts filled! Real geniuses! Cannot stand Walmart, or Walgreens, I dont know where else to go that handles specialty medications.
Once a business looses its ability to perform its intended services in a timely manor they are of no use to the intended customers. This standard operating procedure of not filling prescriptions until after you arrive and are then instructed to come back in an hour when its already been 24 hours since it should have been filled is absolute total bullsheet. Now if this where a one time ordeal I would allow them a soft pass, but since this is considered their normal, not a chance. So consider yourselves fired for incompetence, and I will spend my hard earned money else where. Ira 1/8 CAV
Its horrible trying to speak to anyone at this Palestine CVS. I have never waiting on hold for less than 35 minutes. Im sure if the owners had to wait that long for their money things would change. Very sad when you actually need an immediate service. Forget it, Wont probably happen at this CVS
Im sure CVS is great but the CVS in Palestine, TX is set up very badly. There is only one drive through window and there is always a long line. Also if its raining youll get drenched! Their prescription bottles are terrible!!! I know they are probably child proof but I dont have a lot of strength in my hands and its all I can do to get one open.
Waits have gotten much longer. Always told to come back later, and when I do it’s usually still not ready. Service seems to get worse every month. They’ve also stopped opening 24/7 during the week - which is why I used them in the first place. Going to start looking around for another pharmacy.
We walked there during the snow storm last month since our cars would not budge. We got there a little before 5. We just needed some bottled water and maybe some chips to hold us over until a friend could get a few groceries for us the next day. As we went up enter, the guy, I assume a manager, waved my fiancé and daughter out saying they were closed. We were the only ones waiting to enter, every one else was leaving. I would have gladly given him a $20 and not waited for change for a 6 pack of water. We would have waited outside. It was a couple of minutes before 5. Would have been there sooner only it’s a long walk. Definitely not a store for generosity or a store to help a family in need during a crisis. Will not be going there ever again. Disappointed.
Went in to print out a document, and the manager says oh our machine has not worked in over a year. Thanks alot.
This the worst pharmacy on earth!! Not only do these people ever do their jobs but they never even answer their phones!!! THE WORST SERVICE IN THE WORLD!!!
I had my 1st vaccine of 2 on 3/19/2021. The tech giving the vaccine was extremely rude & offered little info. As a person of 50 plus years I’ve had many many required vaccinations throughout my life & never have I had one jammed into my arm w/such such force. It seemed odd at the moment but even more so as my daughter who is an upcoming nursing student asked if I was ok & proceeded to tell me the things that I should have been told my this tech. I was told so little that I had I panic attack after being rushed out of the chair that if it was not for my daughter I would have fainted as I was trying to get away from the booth. Since I have had family & friends have very different, POSITIVE experiences in other CVS’s & Walmarts by actual pharmacists & RNs/LVNs. As an aside, as I was sitting in my car w/nursing student daughter calming me down, I saw the “tech” rushing to her vehicle not 10 mins after my vaccination to leave. I WILL NEVER SUGGEST CVS GIVE A VACCINE TO ANYONE O KNOW! Also I have changed my 2nd vaccine location to a non CVS.
Just wow! I have been a loyal CVS customer until I moved to Palestine. I gave this store 2 chances and the rudeness of the employees and absolute lack of customer service was absolutely...I cannot think of a word that describes how awful my experiences with this store were. Luckily there are plenty of other pharmacies in Palestine that would be happy to have my familys business.
Pharm tech rude. not helpful, service is terrible. moving scripts to another store
We have had nothing but issues from them for months now.My sons bladder medicine had 2 refills we get it filled so there should have been 1 refill left the bottle said 0. So what happened to it?? Magically disappeared???Somehow my husbands insurance was listed twice in their system. My other sons medicine is in process then a few hours later it is on hold. Why is it on hold it is not too early to be filled. We have told them time and time again to take certain medications off the automatic refill and then somehow they show back up on their system to.Another time my sons 90 day supply of medication was short 5. It was filled to the top. I counted several times like I always do when we get their medicine and each time 85 not 90. Was told to bring the bottle, receipt, and the rx paper and they would take care of it. Nope they were rude to my husband and said they couldnt do anything. I called them told them they wasted our time coming back to town which is about a 15 minute drive. Was told the head pharmacist would call me. Waited several days no call. So I call the district guy over them was told by his secretary he would call me back. Never heard from him but the head pharmacist called the next day. We counted what we have on our end and there isnt extra. We will give you a gift card to replace the gas you used.Well that is fine but 1. that doesnt replace the 5 pills my son is missing and 2. a CVS gift card isnt going to put gas in my car.The one good thing in that pharmacy is Rod and Robbie. They are always super nice and helpful.
I have never had any trouble out of them before covid testing but they need to figure out a better system than to do covid testing at the window while the rest of the citizens are just trying to get their prescriptions we have to wait almost an hour for two or three cars to do covid testing not fair for elderly citizens.
Service and staff are horrible. You have a choice, shop somewhere else. CVS dont answer the phone. Ivebeen on hold for an hour or so at times. Orders are never filled when you arrive, sometines out of stock and have to reorder, delaying your prescription. Always an excuse about something. Drive thru is a joke! Waiting in line inside is even worse. Staff is very nonchalant. Pretend youre not even there. Were done. Switched to Kroger. Fast, nice and cheaper!
Good service
Employees are nice. Service however is horrible. Never answer the phone, takes 2 days or more to refill prescription, then they say they’re ready when they’re not. Drive thru line always takes at least 30 minutes!!
What happened to CVS? New people running it? Have used them for years but they text that medicine is ready and when get there they dont even have a clue on what going on. I have received text and pickup medication to find its a double prescription that didnt have refills.
Good service, helpful people
This is the worst CVS Pharmacy that I been to we have been in line for 20 minutes hell Walmart line doesnt take this long.
Second time trying out to get my prescription filled, because I thought that the first time was just a bad time for them. Nope. Took almost THREE hours to get just ONE script filled. Outrageous... at least the employees are nice.
Ive never had an issue getting prescriptions filled. Always ready when they say they will be. However, they always tell me that they will call or text when ready, but that NEVER happens. I always end up calling them. Other than that, and long lines, no complaints here.
Pharmacy used to be awesome but now theyre terrible. So hard to get prescriptions filled. Have to make several trips up there constantly. They take forever to answer the phone. You will be on hold for 10 minutes at least. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone.
Horrible place to get prescription filled my insurance has some kind of arrangement with them so we have to get it filled there I hope next year they do away with it
Wonderful staff, clean store. Their “system” is awful. I get a text saying my Rx is ready but when I get there to pick it up, it’s not. Numerous other issues almost every month. I would change, but my employer requires me to use them. 😡
Friendly staff
The pharmacist and his staff at the Palestine CVS are the best. They always look out for my interests and go above and beyond to help me and my family.
CVS has a prescription pricing system that charges more for uninsured customers than those who have some form of prescription coverage. And, the prices for uninsured customers is significant; in my case, a little over $200. And, all because I was uninformed. If you don’t have prescription drug coverage, shop around. Wal-Mart, Brookshire’s, and Brookshire Brothers all offer the same medications costing $226 at CVS for around $25, which is what my refills cost at Brookshire Brothers in Grapeland. So, lesson learned and now you know, too. Stay as far away from CVS as you can. Not because their local employees are bad people, but because the arrogant greed of their Corporate behavior is corrupt and serves the hand of Evil.
CVS sends me coupons online and in the mail. I shop for a lot of my beauty supplies and over the counter drugs and vitamins here.
Called three times, the first two I was on hold for 10 minutes each time and the the third time it was to the manager and again on hold for 5 minutes. Now the pharmacist is questioning why the surgeon wrote out the prescription the way it was
Not open 24 hours. Register is down between3:00 am and 3:30 am. Benadryl $20.49 at CVS. Same Benadryl at Wal Mart is $11.49.
Really great service. Faster than expected. Friendly cashier and pharmacy staff.
Open 24 hours, they always have what Im looking for. People there are always helpful and friendly.
Very Inconsistent. Very Inefficient. On Friday I needed my $400 eyedrops, which I have filled there before, and the female at the dropoff station told me that my Insurance will cover them the next day. I came again the next day, which I was told to do, my eyedrops were not ready. They forgot to fill it. I called on Monday, which is today, and the male Pharmacy Technician with the braided hair told me the same thing. So Now,3 days later, there telling me that my eyedrops are ready but they Shouldve been ready Friday. Inconsistent and Inefficient.AND ALSO. THEY WILL STAND BACK THERE IN THE PHARMACY DEPARTMENT and ACT LIKE THEY DONT HEAR THEIR PHONE RINGING! HIRE SOMEONE THAT CAN HEAR GOOD JUST TO ANSWER THE PHONE SINCE THE 6 OR 7 OF YOU CANT HEAR IT!
Get a CVS rewards card-save money!!! Fast andconvienienly located
I thought CVS was going to be a wonderful pharmacy. My son was in Dallas at childrens medical hospital for nearly 2 months. Just recently came home & has to take 2 different seizure medications. I called CVS yesterday and gave the lady his info, his medications, & the phone number to Dallas to get his prescriptions switched. I called back today just to make sure that it went through, gave the lady his info again and she proceeded to tell me that they havent gotten to it because they were to busy and for me to call back tomorrow! Thank God my son still has enough medication for me to find another pharmacy to get it done but what if he would have really needed it. They didnt even have the care to let me know that they couldnt get to it just in case I needed to try another pharmacy, which is what I am definitely doing now. That was very unprofessional..
CVS Pharmacy and Sales Team at Palestine are top notch for customer service. I highly recommend them.
This Pharmacy is a joke. Takes way too long to fill a script. And always wants you pull around why they figure out how to do their job.
I was just released from Palestine regional medical hospital I had been in all week with pneumonia I took my prescription to CVS pharmacy because they were cheaper than anybody else with the coupon online as I went into the store the pharmacist first she told me that it was a photocopy of a prescription then she had to call the hospital to verify that it was real then she told me that she couldnt sell me the whole bottle Im sorry I would not go back to the store ever again worst service they stood there and laughed talking to each other they did not care about the customer at all Im going to call the general manager and go as high as I can go
Slow and very disorganized
The drive-thru
Only place with clean restrooms
Fast and precise
