My van has an undercarriage generator which had recently had some work done on it by someone else. The exhaust pipe welds were holey and the pipe hanger bolts were two inches from the ground. The wonderful staff at JR Discount Mufflers custom made a new exhaust pipe for me. I am so very happy with their work and can- do attitude. The difference is amazing! Thanks guys! Your awesome!

It was a terrible experience. From my experience I take it someone that worked there had a problem with me. I went to get my car inspected, had to make a few repairs for it to pass which I did. I was told the reflector tape would work on my back light which was a very small opening and they still wouldnt pass it. I know for a fact they pass lots of cars inspections that should not pass at all. So when people say its who you know you can get things done that shouldnt be. They are right.

I spoke with Shane on the phone about installing headers on my truck and he agreed to do the job. I drove 30 miles to meet with him about some details of the installation. I sensed his disinterest in doing the work. Shane admitted he didnt really want to do the job. He wasted my time and gas when he could have shown some integrity by calling me and opting to pass on the job. I cant oblige any lack of integrity when Im paying someone to do work for me. I hold myself to the highest degree of integrity in my business. It gets me return business and great client relations. I cant speak about any other employees at JR, but if Shane worked for me, hed be looking for another job tomorrow.

I have known Shane since he was a teenager helping his dad next door to a place I worked. He has always been very respectful and friendly and never has a bad word for anyone. I take my vehicles to him for inspection every year and have no issues because I make sure they will actually PASS the vehicle inspection requirements that are set by the state of Texas.

Very rude, I went to get my vehicle inspected and I was told the tint on the front windshield was to long and needed to be trimmed. It was installed by a very well known place in Palestine and there has never been a problem in the past. I asked a police officer friend if it was an issue and of he thought he was stupid they would not pass this. I will never do business with J&R muffler again nor will I recommend this place to anyone!!
