Poorly run. Never enough check out lines. Frustrating. Often out of products. Getting worse each year. Such a shame. Have been a loyal customer over 25 years. Will shop elsewhere where consideration for the customer is important.

This supermarket usually has what Im looking for. The employees arent so helpful! Its like pulling teeth to get help. A lot of the customers look creepy or are just nosey always staring. Either way I get what I need 😌 not the most enjoyable shopping experience. The coupon clipping is just outright annoying. The employees at check out make me want to just leave everything because they always have such attitudes like youre bothering them. They talk as they walk away to help someone else or just loud and obnoxious. The self checkout is even a heavy task.

This is my favorite supermarket of all time and I dread ever leaving the area because of it. I love the old school feel and it reminds me of better days in the 90s. Its retro but doesn’t feel outdated since its kept clean. I’ve been coming here since I was little when it first opened and my family and I are forever nostalgic about this place. Please never change it. Probably the only nice place left in town. The only thing I’m not thrilled about is the new self checkout system but I won’t single yall out since that’s everywhere lately. Never change ! 💯 ⭐️

I like the convince of this store and all the parking spaces. But someone need to fix the pot holes before the railroad tracks that bring you to the store.

ShopRite always offer the lowest price amount local supermarkets. Some of their own label Italian imports are great quality.

It is very close to my house and I like the atmosphere of it most of the time.

I go here often cuz its the closest one to my house. Im constantly annoyed trying to find products there. The organization is not grouped well and I waste so much time there. And by the time I go to the line, theres huge lines that waste even more of my time. It is not a satisfying shopping experience. I couldnt find popcorn and then the cereal. Why is the organization of products so convoluted. Im gonna go somewhere else from now on. Not worth the headache and frustration.

Great place for your grocery needs. Good parking lot, big space inside and its clean, but not enough cashiers working (maybe because of Covid?).

One of the most stocked supermarkets in the area. Nice prices overall, quick lines and imbatible selection in meats.

Been shopping there since 2000. Went there this morning for the skirt steak and other items. Couldnt find the steaks that were on sale. I went to customer service and the young lady was nice and asked me to speak to the butcher and I asked him for the skirt steak. There was at least 4 other customers in search of the same steaks and we were all told to come back in 10 minutes and they would be on the shelf outside of the butchers door. I returned to find the same customers still waiting for the steaks. I waited for 30 minutes and could not wait any longer. My impression is that they didnt want to sell the steaks at the price they advertised. An employee of the meat department asked me if I really wanted to buy Australian beef? I was surprised that a store employee would ask me that question. I Have purchased that brand before (Natures Reserve) and never had a problem with the brand. Thanks For reading my post and Im going to try again tomorrow.Will update when I go to the again.

I would like to buy the groceries and the meats, deli and vegetable cans at ShopRite but I get the seafood and veggies at food Bazaar or some Korean supermarket

In general, we like Shoprites. This store is good but already outdated and beaten up. It is certainly up for a major upgrade/remodeling. Something similar to the Paramus store.

Im pretty sure everyone has 1001 reasons to despise their local grocery store, and so do I. Although I have little love for ShopRite in general, Ive found ONE very good reason to like them, and this was a real surprise. It would be unfair not to say so.I have always assumed the store brand was inferior in quality to the name brands, and Ive tried to steer away from it.I buy Italian sausage very rarely, but the appearance of one package was so good I couldnt resist. The product turned out to be AWESOME. Im pretty sure its not store-made, but made for ShopRite in some central location. This is a first-class product in all respects. Tried a little, and the taste is absolutely delicious. Whoever made this sausage (hot Italian), hats off.

Since they have added in th self checkout lanes I have been there multiple times where they do not have a cashier on a regular lane. They have one cashier on an express checkout or you could do your own check out. I have also seen some older shoppers really struggle, while the staff helps them its not a great system.

Update (7/11/2021): they have added self checkout kiosk for both large and small shipping trips to minimize contact and for faster checkout. They are intuitive and easy to use.Good selection of groceries and home goods at an affordable price. Customer service is friendly, checkout times are decent and plenty of parking.

I shop exclusively at ShopRite Palisades and haven’t had one bad experience yet. The store is organized and I know the layout well. The deli attendants are great and my seafood is always fresh. Lines are sometimes long but they go fast. Helpful hint - sign up for the price plus card at customer service and you’ll save a lot! No card, No savings! And the cashiers will not allow you to use theirs, against the rules I guess.

They need more cashiers!!!!! Alot of people struggle with the self check out lanes. It took me 15 minutes to do my shopping today and I waited 20 minutes to check out. Get more cashiers !!!

This shopping center is quite an experience the shop as it has a variety of foods and drinks goodbye and it is quite an experience its an excellent place to shop sending a message out on a lot of ways that you can save a lot of money here

I bought this on August 26th.And when I opened the package to cook the next day,All the back parts of the meat were spoiled and smelled.The expiration date was marked as until the 29th.It was very disappointing and I had to throw it all away.

I go to this store when I have to get the basics. They should have invested money and brought new freezers where the ice cream is displayed instead of the self checkout machines. Freezers are not cold enough.

Get all what you want from here but the cashiers are pretty slow and few of them are very rude too. But other than that, great chill spot to shop.

Love this Shop Rite. ....the girls in the bakery are so helpful!! Love my black russian rye bread, pumpernickel bagels and other delightful treats ...enjoyed talking to the gentleman in the fish dept regarding preparation of a holiday fish dish. The people at the courtesy counter are always helpful and pleasant as well as the managers ! During the first bout of covid-19 in the spring, products were still on sale and stocked . No price gouging here .!! Thankyou to all your employees and company for a job well done!!

Deli and seafood employees are rude and lazy. They barely speak to you and when they finally do they approach customers reluctantly. Today they asked me several times if my item was in the pre sliced refrigerator, it was not until I assured them that it wasn’t there that they would barely help me ..as it is I’ve been going there very reluctantly because they are located close to my house. The place appears Run down and unhygienic.

Its a good enough supermarket but they always have the same things - it gets tiresome. I prefer the ethnic mix at Hackensack and Englewood but this store has very fresh meat well cut.

Not only is the inventory inferior to other ShopRites, the service is poor. How long do I have to stand ignored in the butcher area before one of the various people walking around asks me what Id like to buy? I walked away. Find another ShopRite.

This was my first visit to this store. I went to customer service area first and said to the lady, can you help me with something? She shook her head no and I stood there dumbfounded for a moment. Then she said what do you need and turned back to do whatever it was she was doing. I asked my question and she didnt even look at me and said I dont know. Now, I understand she may have been tired or was there past her shift, but jeez, Im a human being, at least have the common decency to look at me while talking or at least try to provide basic customer service, you know... the department youre working in.Its not the cleanest place, but they had turkeys which my Shoprite ran out of. The cashier was very helpful and friendly and he answered the question that customer service lady didnt know. Go figure!

The staff is very courteous and polite. Products are always available. Meats and produce are always fresh. Overall is a good store to shop.

One of my family members got discrimination from the one of the employees who stranded at self checkout section on December 24th 2020, and they putted comments on google reviews and it has been deleted by the store.We are free to put any comments whatever we felt at store, aren’t we?

Typical supermarket. Nothing to rave about but no complaints either. They do have the carpet cleaner machine (Dr Rug) for rent, which I do use once a year for my carpet at home. You can rent either 4 hours or 8 hours.

Good grocery store, has majority of things you would need. Convenient pharmacy located in the center of the shop-rite. Parking lot has a lot of space, but traffic can get backed up because of traffic coming in and out and foot traffic blocking people. But overall, its a great grocery store and easy location

Nothing specific, but I just didnt feel comfortable shopping there.

Usually this is my fav pick of stores but lately it seems to have gone down hill. I cant blame the store itself as i know during this pandemic everything is a challenge. Over the weekend it was so crowded i felt like it was a fire hazard with so many people blocking the aisles. Unfortunately this store also suffered a loss during the most recent tropical storm so they are busy trying to pick up the pieces.

Feel so badly, the store is without power for a full day and a half now, do to big windstorm that blew through this area and knocked down may of the telegraph polies and wires. So much food will have to be trashed, hope the good folks in the store can recover.

I like this place its not much expensive and good stuff to eat and to buy. My son likes macaroni and cheese so There a bunch and good people and cashiers.

To me this is the most familiar Shop-rite of them all so when i compare it to others it seems just a little better overall than other locations even though i cant really complain about any Shop-rite as opposed to other supermarkets. The store is Clean, usually not busy late and great employees. Also ample parking. Most cashiers & customer service personnel are excellent !

My service at the deli was 5 stars but the store wasnt so clean. There are no wipee for the shopping carts, the cashier didnt spray the belt off & there was milk spilled on it. There was some crazy guy that came in with his lady partner with a dog. The cashier told him that the dog couldnt come in. He started yelling & the managers just stood there & didnt back her up. So sad.

A good store to shop at. Best super market in area. Many long time friendly employees who are well mannered and helpful. Needs room to expand if possible. Followed from Fort Lee location to Palisades Park. Been shopping combined 45 years.

Beyond inconsistent with their stock. Can never find the same items from week to week. If you dont get your shopping done by Friday night, dont even bother wasting time trying to shop on the weekends. Everything is gone yet there are items that literally have not sold in MONTHS. Common sense would be to get rid of the items that dont sell and replace them with more inventory of the items that are constantly sold out every single week. But that is not the case. I HATE THIS STORE. Its the only game around. My only hope is for new ownership or a competitor opens up a store close by.

Time.Morning through early afternoon its okay (Grats, heres your one star).Last time I went, I spent TWENTY minutes in line to pay for the gallon of milk which took < 5 minutes to grab from the dairy section. But thats okay. While in line, I enjoyed witnessing a loud spectacle between an irate customer and cashier. Lots of f bombs thrown (by customer). The young twins in the cart with Pop standing in line seemed to enjoy the show as well. Too bad the Manager wasnt there. They would have had a nice story share with their friends.Cashiers are focused on flirting with each other, texting and socializing more than tending to customers.Long lines.Often low on stock on many items.Milk is on dairy shelves only a few days prior to expiration. Fat free is typically one week older than the whole or 2%.Inventory and carts are in the aisles during store hours.Also, long lines.All of the problems in this store can be easily corrected with the right Manager running the place. They dropped the ball a long time ago. Im going to use a market nearby my job and shop as I leave work. This place is presently a lost cause.

My favorite Shoprite! Love the section where you can get coffee breakfast sandwich made to order, the hot food selection and the seating area. They are usually well stocked, and if you need assistance from the Butcher they are always helpful and accomdating!

We moved away years ago so when we visited I had to go to shop right. Great store friendly staff. Well stocked. I was able to get great deals on things they dont sell at my grocery store where I now live
