Just learning to play and found original set up on my new acoustic was difficult to play and hard on my fingers as a beginner. Mike changed out the strings lowered the action and did some other adjustments and what a difference. I’m playing with much more ease, guitar sounds crisp and clean with zero buzz! Dropped of a case kept Ibanez Xiphos I hadnt played in years. Needed new strings and a tremolo bridge set up good clean and shine. Once it was ready I was shocked at the quality of the set up and how clean my guitar was, it was like new. I came in looking for a guitar to learn on. Mike is stationed inside of Marion Music and although I didn’t buy anything yet, I will be bringing whatever guitar I end up buying to him for a set up and to show him. He was very informative on things I should look for in a guitar and explained to me the hardware involved in the sounds of a guitar, all while being very patient and kind. Very easy going! Will do business with Mike soon.

Mike does great work and takes his time to make sure you dont need a second trip for the same issue. Found out about his work around 2 months ago, and hes become my go to guy for guitar issues and repairs that are beyond my skill. Highly recommend!
