I have been working with Universal Medical Lasers for over 15 years. They have been the most knowledgeable company in the surgical laser industry that I have been associated with. Their staff is always friendly and helpful. Herb Deigl, the owner, has been working with and designing laser systems since the 1970s. He was working with surgical lasers since the very beginning of the industry. I can highly recommend Universal Medical Lasers for all your needs on surgical lasers as I have worked with them on hundreds of laser systems.

I had three lasers that were needing fixing. I called UML who sent a technician who was supposed to fix one on site and take the other two. she could not fix the one and ended up taking all three machines (big mistake). They charged me $2100 just to check them and bring them back to the office and wanted to charge me $8000 just to flush the tubes and change the plastic tank and this is just to see if the machines will then work. If they do not then I just lost $8000. So either you pay or you do not get your machines. I ended up paying them $2100 for absolutely nothing just to get my machines. I do no not recommend them.

My experience with Universal Medical Lasers was outstanding. I was having trouble with one of my Cynosure lasers for about a year and a half. Cynosures answer was for me to fly a technician to my town and pay for their travel, labor and parts (costing many thousands of dollars). Then FINALLY, I found someone who was willing to listen to me and help. Wayne at UML quickly assessed my problem and was able to diagnose and fix my issue over the internet and through facetime chats, allowing him to see, hear, and discuss the issues with me. Wayne got my Medlite up and running flawlessly with little fuss or muss. His know-how saved me thousands of dollars in unwanted expenses and patient attrition. Obviously, not every problem can be fixed this way, but this experience gave me full trust in their desire to help at a fair price.
