I liked that this bookstore featured primarily female authors. It did lack some diversity. There were no science fiction, fantasy, or romance. It did have a bunch of interesting coffee table books.

Great local shop will order any title you need. You must stop in.

Beautiful books. Beautiful people. Just a wonderful atmosphere. If they had chairs to sit in and read that would add to the shops welcoming atmosphere, but it was great overall.

What a great little find. A friend and I happened upon this place one day between appointments. This is what a bookstore should be, quaint, local and inviting. The staff are friendly and welcoming, urging you take your time and browse. A great selection of titles chosen by the owner to fit the neighborhood. If you are ever in Palm Beach, hunt this little gem down and go browse for good book or two.

What a wonderful experience! The books are arranged in such a helpful and aesthetically pleasing way. I havent had such a nice book-browsing experience in a long time. I will definitely make a point of visiting regularly.

It is bookstores like this one which are why quality bookstores are still, and always will be, in demand. The selection is interesting, thought-provoking and the service is helpful and efficient. The Palm Beach Book Store is a bedrock in the local reading community and its also great for visitors too.

The Greatest book stores transform simple visits into enticing adventures. Every visit to The Palm Beach Book Store is an enjoyable treasure hunt with endless riches. Upon walking into the store you are met with the most interesting and well curated selection of biography, design and architecture books. As you are naturally guided through the store you experience the inviting environment and comfortable layout which allows you to escape the world for a moment. The store also has a large selection or fiction and children’s books, and the owner and staff are always ready and willing to make suggestions from a variety of books which they themselves have read. You don’t have to waste time sorting through some of the nonsense that larger book stores have, for being a smaller store the owner takes a great amount of care and attention to hand select titles to make every visit not only a pleasant experience, but a highly anticipated destination. They always seem to have the book you are looking for as well as the book you can’t leave without. I just discovered this store last year, and it is truly one of the gems of Palm Beach.

This is a throwback, truly old-fashion kind of bookstore. It reminded me of a smaller version of Brentanos, or Rizzolis of 1960s New York City. The selections of books runs the usual gamut of childrens books, to history, to fiction and non-fiction, to current best-sellers.But where they really shine is their unusually broad range of coffee table books. There is always at least one of each in-stock coffee table book that is not wrapped in protective plastic so that a customer is free to go through the book at as much leisure as you please.This sort of bookstore is the very essence of a kind that is, all too sadly, disappearing. It should be supported to help ensure that this dying breed of neighborhood, upscale bookstore that is not pretentious, but is definitely geared for those who truly enjoy literature in all its analog, hard-cover glory, where one can feel free to while away an afternoon soaking in the pleasures of some of the most beguiling and engaging published books. I urge all to seek out this bookstore, and/or find a similar old-world-style neighborhood bookstore and patronize it, before they are forced to become obsolete. Online booksellers may have a vastly larger selection, but you cannot browse in ways that can only be found in a brick-and-mortar, honest-to-goodness bookstore.
