We were very happy with the results. We tired to fix the door ourselves, disaster do not attempt. We called Garage Door Repair On Friday Harry arrived that afternoon for our first appoint on time with suggestions and options. We needed a new door after 40 years. About 4 years ago (2016) I had this company come over to the house that I just bought to install a belt driven high end craftsman garage door opener because the one that the former owners put in was cheap and almost non-usable. They did a terrific job on that service call and also recommended I replace the old rollers that were just about ready to fall apart and lose all their wore out roller bearings. Which I did do. Had BAD garage door problems. Harry fixed them on the spot!!! We just moved into a house in Palm Coast. The garage door was not functioning. Called Harry and he came over the same morning. We came home to find that the garage door wasnt opening. We tried to open the door until we Googled that if the torsion springs are broken, we cant even lift the garage door manually.We called the original installers of the garage, but no response. Of course because 1) Its a Sunday 2) Its Mothers Day 3) it was 8:40 at night.We came across the Garage Door Repair service online and Harry (the owner) picked up.He said its $100 per spring replacement. We asked if he could come tonight. And he said he would send a truck by 10pm. He came at 9:12pm. It took him 18 minutes to do the replacements and repair!He was quick and reliable. 19.99 to come tell me whats wrong.Hes cash only - which you dont find out until its time to pay him.Doesnt go over options or features to find out what YOU want - which is especially important if you havent researched garage door openers before hand. Wasnt until I was doing online warranty that I discovered Chamberlain has an opener with battery back up available at Lowes and Home Depot - which I would have chosen and been excellent when we lose power during hurricanes etc...Dumps contents of box out onto floor - loudest noise EVER - Geez buddy, I just bought all that stuff your dropping on the ground.Doesnt take anything with him. Youre left with the old unit and all the install garbage.He did try to put some in garbage cans - but what he missed, he didnt pick up ..and what he made was in our lawn waste one - so had to dig staples and pieces of everything out of thorny vine trimmings.Wanted me to leave the door to my house open so the air conditioning could cool him.New install has our garage door jerking into motion. Which it never did before. Maybe thats a Chamberlain issue? Its not as quiet as the Genie we had either. Both are belt models.

I called this company and asked did they give free estimates for garage door opener not opening. I was told they will come with no charge and let me know what is wrong. I told him I know it is the sensor . He replaced the sensor. But i get the bill and it says adjust the door. Not one time did he adjust the door. He did spray lubricant on the wheels. That was all he did. How did i get charged $100 for and adjust and it wasnt done. I was standing there the entire time. Bad business. Will not be calling them again and will put the word out to others to stay away. I hate when people try to take advantage of people. On 4/12/2016 I get ready for work and my garage door still doing the same thing and wouldnt open. So now lets see if i get the same treatment from another company and lose another $120 for nothing.
