When to get a coffee table top made. Polished edges and the corners barely sanded so as not to have sharp corners. Simple request or so I thought. After six attempts the shop that was supplying them finally got it right. When I went to pick up the piece the polished edge was chipped. Even though they agreed that the other pieces were finished incorrectly when I brought up the fact that the edge was chipped I was spoken to very abruptly with well what do you want to do I replied well if it is to be chipped Id rather it be me do than pay for someone else to do it. So next reply was well obviously we cant give you what you want so ill give you your money back. Very rude so they have lost my future business because of a simple order that couldnt be filled.

I have used Benchmark since Tom first went into business. My first service call was an oceanfront window that would howl in the wind. Tom had this corrected within 5 minutes and did not even charge me. We have used on several other occasions and referred to other friends too. We recently had Benchmark Glass & Mirror make a glass top for an antique trunk which turned out beautifully and was reasonably priced. We used them again to cut and install a glass panel to partially enclose an open shower area. Again an excellent job and reasonably priced. Quick, courteous, friendly customer service makes this business a delight to work with. We have more projects and will definitely be using Benchmark Glass & Mirror again and again!

I called Benchmark Glass & Mirror for a project estimate and I am completely happy I did, and here is why. I was in process of completing a bath renovation; travertine flooring with travertine partly up the wall topped with a tile cap, and the rest of the walls were Venetian plastered. All the cabinetry was custom, and I needed glass to fit a built-in vanity, hence I called Benchmark Glass & Mirror. I was not sure if I needed tempered glass or not, and Heather provided me with a plethora of information. Then, I provided the project measurements to Heather, and she provided an estimate over the phone. The quote was very reasonable and I immediately placed my order. She called me the next day as promised, and I picked up my order. All pieces of the glass were cut to exact specification, and the edges were nicely finished too.Heather is very polite and professional, and she knows her product. Even though my project was small, her courtesy and professionalism towards me made me feel like my small project was just as important as someone ordering a complete glass enclosure for a large project; the customer service absolutely stellar. For this reason, I unequivocally recommend Benchmark Glass & Mirror.

Fair prices, fast service

This review is based on the function of the product installed. We have a glass enclosure for our shower, and the door has a gap where the hinge stops about 1/8 inch wide by 2 inches tall at the bottom of the door. This gap causes our shower door to leak every time you take a shower, when I called and inquired about it Im told that is part of the design. Unfortunately I have to give a one star rating to anyone who sells a product they know is a poor design and leaves it to the customer to live with after installation.Edited to add:My showerhead does not spray directly on the door, in fact its a full 2 feet from the door. The gap in the door is so large all incidental splatter from the activities involved and taking a shower pour right out of the door. Ironically I was able to fix this problem myself with a 1 inch piece of self adhesive rubber an 8th inch thick placed on the narrow edge of the door, when the doors closed it now seals. Its amazing that the Professionals are unable to come up with such a simple solution to fix the problem.You should pay attention, this is not an insult to you personally but when a customer calls you with a problem you should make an attempt to fix it. Dont just reply over the telephone that theres nothing you can do and I have to live with it. The reason your reply says the showerhead is the problem is because no one has looked at it and you have no idea what the situation even is. When a customer calls of the problem someone should at least take a moment to go have a look at it. I subcontracted for builders for over 20 years, not once did I do a faulty installation at the behest of a builder. I always made sure that I turned out a quality product when my job was complete and under no circumstances did I ever tell the customer they needed to live with a faulty product.
