I visited Venus Art Stores 5 years ago, at this point. I had just moved into California, from Massachusetts. Me and my partners introduction to California was, that in 20 days, our storage unit got broken in to, and a large bulk of personal belongings that we had just spent a week driving across the country (including our art supplies) were gone.We had a GoFund me, and luckily we have a fair pool good friends that donated to it. So we were able to replace a lot of what had been taken.We chose Venus art supplies, because we prefer supporting local businesses. Our end of shopping cart was pretty massive. The conversation between me and the cashier resulted in me telling her about the robbery we experienced.She ending up giving us a 20% discount on our purchase, in an effort to help us replace more of what we had lost. It was such a kind act, I always think about shopping there again (despite settling an hour away).Finally have a chance to stop by this weekend, to stock up on some things I have needed for a while. I look forward to visiting this awesome shop and gallery, again.

They usually have what I need and at a fair price. They give student discounts which is never a bad thing, and always help me find what I need with no trouble.
