Great experience. Bought a new putter after testing many over a couple of days. Guy ringing me up spotted a couple small dings in the face. They ordered me a another. I didnt spot the dings so kudos them for their integrity. Definitely recommend Edwin Watts they are true professionals.

The staff was very helpful. They guided me to purchase my started club set. There’s plenty of merchandise there too but the shoe section wasn’t the greatest. They have a lot more selection in their website though. I was able to order some clothes and accessories there. I recommend them.

Larry, a golf fitting specialist, was great. He was friendly, super knowledgeable and made me feel at easy trying different clubs. I got a fair price on my clubs with no pressure. I will go back again to buy from Larry.

Very much appreciate your staff and the mgrs assistance in helping the next generation of golfers purchase equipment and accessories. Also appreciate you coming out to the car to add the umbrella attachment to our new golf cart, the umbrella attachment did not originally come with the golf cart it had to be ordered so a week later when I returned to pick up the umbrella attachment the manager walked out to my car to put it on for me (so that way I wouldnt have to drag the golf cart back in the store...). Appreciate the manager and the staff.

Joe put together a brand new shaft/driver/adapter/grip combination I personally purchased online one by one for Christmas this week.He advised me on the best fit, set realistic expectations for me and then over delivered when I came to pick it up. I needed a golf club repaired and was quoted $20.00 for labor plus the part (a driver adapter fitting). He next day I went to pick up the club and they told me it would be $68.00. When I asked for the price breakdown they told me that is was $29.00 for the part and $35.00 for labor. I told them that I was quoted $20.00 for labor and that the Ping adapters could be purchased on line for as low as $14.00 and as high as $22.00. Joe the Manager stepped in, raised his voice and and barked “ you should have bought it on line then”. He then told the clerk to take $10.00 off the labor. (which was still higher than I was quoted). I thanked him and told him that “ I was going to buy a set of irons but that I don’t think that I will be buying them here”. He yelled at me and said “that’s enough, go”. I paid the inflated charge and left. I should have read the reviews here before I went there. If you read them, you will notice a pattern high prices, poor customer service including Joe, The Manager abusing customers.Im going to Golf Galaxy to shop for irons.

Was willing to pay $90.00 per club for three new shafts- left them at the store on a Tuesday asked that I be able to pick them up on the following Tuesday. They said would not be an issue. I asked again because the guy that normally does this type of work passed away . I told them I had a very important golf game on Wednesday of the following week. They said not to worry. showed up Tuesday they had not touched the clubs. They said we had a man pass away so we are behind in club repairs, not to worry they would have it ready the following morning. So, I wait till 1 pm the next day. Two guys were in verbal argument and no work had been performed. GO ANYWHERE ELSE - this place is in shambles.

Still sitting in the parking lot in disbelief! I walked in to buy a new set of clubs - 2 people working, neither of them said a word. I stood patiently at the counter while the manager was on the phone. He looked at me twice, ended his phone conversation and walked away. Didn’t say a word?? Someone else we be getting my business.

Went in to get my grandson golf clubs. Pete was so extremely helpful not only helping to pick out the right club but giving him several tips to improve his game. Will definitely do business there again!

Went to get measured for new clubs and ask questions as I’m a new player. Joe, the manager, was so patient, helpful, and talked in language I could understand. I had a set in mind and Joe didn’t try to up-sell. Truly a great question and answer visit. Would give 6 stars if I could. Well worth the 11 mile trip. Will make that trip every time we want to purchase product.

Had a very disappointing customer experience at Edwin Watts Palm Harbor location this morning. Unfortunately, I had accidentally snapped the Ping shaft to my Ping driver in two and needed a new shaft. I figured this would be the perfect time to get the right shaft for my swing, given that the broken shaft was an off the shelf purchase and that I needed a new shaft anyway. The first salesman I met passed me off to Joe the manager. I showed him my problem and obviously stated I needed a shaft replacement. He came back with the exact same shaft. I told him, like I had told the salesman, that I wanted to see if there was a better shaft for my swing. He told me that this shaft was the replacement shaft for the Ping. I reiterated my request that I wanted to see if there was a better shaft for my swing. He then said that he would have to special order any different shaft at which time I realized one of three things were going on: 1) he was not listening to this customers needs, 2) he did not care about this customers needs, or 3) he assumed that I was a novice/horrible golfer ( I play to about a 9 index) and he could not be bothered helping me. Thus, a very bad customer service experience and now a former customer who will never give them any business of mine in the future.

Excellent customer service!! I had received a golf shirt for Christmas and when I needed another size they found it for me in their Houston store and had it sent here. Not many stores would have gone the extra mile to be so helpful. The staff is efficient, friendly and very helpful. 5 Stars definitely!!

I only needed help ordering size 14w footjoy fury shoes. After a 20 minute wait I left and bought them directly from the Footjoy site. For less. If you arent buying big ticket clubs at E.W., they arent interested in you.

Patient and friendly service. Definitely try out their testing area. They can measure the distance, speed, etc about your swing with the equipment there and compare it to different clubs to see which is best for you.

We love this Edwin Watts!!!! Always have a nice selection of hats, latest clubs and I can always find an outfit. We get all our clubs re gripped here and the staff is very helpful.

Very friendly staff who treated my young boy great. They kept him engaged in talking about golf and gave him a hat and some balls. Would definitely recommend. The TP5 practice balls are a good deal.

Ive read some of the negative reviews on here and I think people need to get a clue. Most of the negative issues were that someone didnt offer to help fast enough. When Im in a store like this, I want time to look and they gave it to me.In addition, they let me spend nearly 3 hours testing clubs and when I couldnt make up my mind between to sets of Taylor Mades, they showed me the computer results recommending the less expensive equipment. They literally down sold me because those were the right clubs for me. My clubs were ready the day before I asked just in case I wanted them earlier. My women sales person was knowledgeable and if there was any question she wasnt positive of, she got help. I absolutely recommend Edwin Watts Golf in Palm Harbor. Caryn was great!

I just left this place none too happy. Im guessing it was because Im a woman, and they had an all male staff, and I was pushing my daughter in a stroller, but I was never greeted or asked if I needed help. When I stood at the counter for help they didnt even look up from the computer or say Ill be with you in a moment or after this customer. Well, I was planning on buying a bag for my husbands birthday. I walked out and plan to spend my few hundred dollars somewhere else!By the way, the guy from Dicks Sporting Goods was very nice, helpful and greeted me right away. ...and I think I got a better deal than the bag I had seen at EWG anyway. Shop around!

Should of read these reviews, they are very consistent.. I was on a golfing trip this weekend and decided to go in and get some new clothes and hat. Grabbed a few things and went into the fitting room. Long story short my sunglasses were on top of my head and must have fallen off when I tried on a shirt. I walked around the store for about 10 to 15 min paid for the merchandise and was ready to leave when I realized I had dropped my glasses. Went back to the fitting room and they were gone! My buddies told me a guy went into the fitting room after me . The employees called him but he said I walked out with what I walked in I told the employee to please check the security cameras . He said he couldnt. Judging by the rest of the reviews these guys seem shady. Stay Away!

This Edwin Watts store had some great employees but the manager was very rude and raised his voice to me while negotiating trade-ins (maybe a scare tactic). I felt very uncomfortable and would much rather drive across town to Golfsmith, which has much more clear trade-in policies and friendlier staff.

Walked in at opening time and looked around for 20 min... not one employee even looked at me.. going to golfsmith..
