Unfortunately very disappointing Caesar salad ($12 of lettuce with not enough dressing and a few soggy croutons), breakfast potatoes (not even a pinch of seasoning). Vegan biscuits and gravy were okay. Was glad to have a vegan option, and could be super good. Almost there, just not quite. Especially for $28.
Not only is your food incredible but your hospitality is VERY appreciated! Thank you for creating a safe space for all people to come into your restaurant and enjoy your food regardless of having the shot or a mask and that all are welcome! You made my day!
The food was excellent but the manager was unbelievably rude. We were the 1/2 hour before closing and even though we had been on the road for hours she would not let me use the restroom. Cleaning the restroom was more important than my comfort. Again, the food was fabulous.
Decent vegan food, but they won’t serve a glass of tap water? They force patrons to buy boxed (bottled) water?! That’s an extremely un-environmentally friendly thing. It’s either virtue signaling, or a clever ploy to sell more of their homemade beverages.Edit: Our server explained your position just fine. You and I just have very different views on the ethical and environmental impact of packaged water. Thank you for finding the hat.
I love Jackie she’s the best server! The food is amazing and they have a outside area for your dogs. I hope they extend dinner hours for season
We drove 25 miles to have vegan Mexican breakfast and it was well worth the drive. The service was friendly and respectful. The food was delicious, perfectly prepared and great presentation. I will make that drive again.
Delicious and mouth watering menu with lovely seating arrangement outside. However, not long after sitting down and half way through my coffee I notice our table covered in white dog hair, furthermore on my shorts also. Brought it to our servers attention, only for her to say “ oh ya, there was a dog sitting there earlier, will I wipe the table ? “ common... really. Firstly dogs shouldn’t be in the chairs but on the floor and if so wipe down the chair and table afterwards. ESPECIALLY in this current global pandemic..Palm Greens cafe have taken the eye off the ball with regards to hygiene, I won’t be returning.
I really loved the food and service at Palm Greens Cafe! I got to visit twice during my short trip to Palm Springs. The first visit I did take out - I had the hummus avocado toast with a side of the breakfast potatoes. The second visit I went with the breakfast platter with french toast, fruit, eggs, and tempeh bacon. The french toast was so good - it was very flavorful (instead of tasting just like egg-y bread). Our server was really nice. All covid protocols were followed.
Palm Greens is worth the trip if you find yourself in Palm Springs, even if you are a vegetarian or vegan. There are many choices for plant based eaters. We split huevos rancheros with tofu scramble substituted for egg. The red enchilada sauce was flavorful and spicey but not too hot. The serving size was generous and sufficient for two. Potatoes were included and were prepared well. Jacqueline was our server on our last 2 visits (a week apart) and was welcoming and remembered our preferences. Food was served quickly and coffee cup was kept full and hot. Highly recommend.
Everything was great. Thank you!
I was in palm spring for over a month and ate here several times. The atmosphere is peaceful and happy. The food is great as well and the staff is super friendly!
Delicious food and juices. Have been here a few times and its wonderful!
Very disappointed,we drove 25 min from the hotel to eat here the food was good But the service was not at least ours server was not good he gave no service!! Felt like he was doing me a favor to be there ..... disappointed 😞
The food was good and the servers were friendly. We had to ask for refills of water, but in their defense they were busy. The food was delivered quickly, but it was very greasy from too much oil use. It is also relatively expensive. Still worth trying overall.
This place is amazing, the servers are so kind and sweet. Pedro Pascal works here and his glutes are made of steel. The prices are incredible as well.
I eat at Pam Greens Cafe anytime I am in Palm Springs- great vegan options, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. The vegan reuben- a worthwhile indulgence!
This place is off the beaten path. It’s kind of like a dive bar, that hidden gem. It’s in a shopping center that seems like it might be in the wrong place. The decorations are cute but clearly on a budget. But then the food comes out and man oh man is it delicious! Biscuits and gravy the date shake everything was vegan and plant-based and yummy! So glad we stopped in 🍴
Great but they force u to buy expensive bottled water
Great option for all dietary preferences. Friendly staff good outdoor seating and delicious food. They will have something for everyone at a good price.
Try the vegan reubens, surprising tasty and filing.
My friend loved the veggie roll in a bowl salad, I ordered the vegan lasagna which was tasty but way too salty. The service was prompt and friendly.
Fresh, delicious, fast! Friendly patient crew.
Overall great experience. Friendly service, fast kitchen, clean and trendy environment and the food so tasty! We got the vegan breakfast platter and the vegan loco moco. Lots of flavor and large portions. The tofu scramble was very good, quite different in flavor to most Ive had. I would say tumeric and curry were amongst them, a very nice touch. The pancakes were a bit dence, not fluffy however its because its banana, almond flour, and soy milk based. Healthy and filling! The mushroom patty was so good, comfort food feeling.Id go back for sure and try other items on the menu. Love that you can make any meal vegan So there is something for everyone.
My husband and I arrived this morning around 9:25 am. We were seated and there was only one other table. We put in our drink order 10 min after being seated and then others started arriving and being seated around us. We waited a half an hour. Everyone else was seated, had their drinks and orders were taken, everyone except ours.I don’t like throwing this around, but the only difference between us and the other parties is that my husband is black. I hope that wasn’t the case of course, but it’s hard not to assume when we were there first and completely ignored.I then went inside and let them know the situation and they looked completely doe eyed like it wasn’t their fault.Whatever the reason, I think anyone can understand that waiting over a half an hour to put their order in while everyone else was waited on who arrived AFTER us, there aren’t a whole lot of excuses.
We ate here for breakfast and dinner for two days in a row. It didn’t disappoint, tried different items from pancakes to burritos and everything was just lovely. We’re vegan too so this was a gem to find in the desert. Outside area is a nice place to chill out and the staff are all very helpful and friendly.
Had the Mediterranean plate and the Avocado Roll Bowl, and they were reeeeally good (Im still thinkin about that bowl, I have no idea what they do with the tofu but I personally found it addicting). Server was quick and attentive too. This was a nice start to our honeymoon!!
Great Café! Food choices were great, gluten free AND vegan pancakes were BOMB! The breakfast baked yam was delicious too, I would definitely recommend and return here! Staff is friendly.
They get very good beef and tuna, you can tell. Salad sampler is a great deal.
Decent food but very slow service. We were a little shocked by the blt wrap that was 98% lettuce and not much else. We asked for a split bill... Never happened. Be patient if you go there.
Excellent menu! I have huge diet restrictions and I can find delicious choices on their menu. Vegan lasagna fantastic. Husband had burger and said it was the best!
Amazing breakfast! Super Vegan Friendly. Loved it.
We need this place in LA. My hubby and I collectively devoured a salad and a bowl. Soooo good and now, so gone! I only wish wed discovered this spot at the start of, rather than the end of, our trip!
Undeniable charm is what this place offers. The food was really great. Especially their breakfast menu they all types of breakfast that serves with a hot chocolate or coffee. The owner of this cafeteria was so welcoming and friendly. This place is my second home. I really love their food and the ambiance of their place.
Everything here is delicious and fresh. They’re handling Takeout orders due to Covid well and are organized, speedy, and still making the best food. Love this place!
Great food and Awesome Service 👍
We were hungry and looking for a vegan bite. Unfortunately, due to timing and covid they told us wed have to take it to-go. (Disclaimer: There were people sitting outside when we arrived, so seemed weird as we wouldnt have lingered long and knew they were closing soon, but whatever.) There is no inside dining but they have converted parking lot spaces to create a patio space during covid. We got the vegan nachos and they were good. Nothing special. Beans were super bland, and definitely tons of room for improvement on flavor and adding a kick would be tasty. Having vegan cheese is always a plus, so that was a win. The corn was a nice topping. We may try again next time were in town and give it another go as we live finding vegan options.
Very friendly, warm and welcoming service from a busy but professional waitress. The food was flavorful and the menu had a lot of variety that should please non-vegans (although its mostly a vegan/vegetarian restaurant). I look forward to visiting again.
Great organic cafe I found while passing though Palm Springs. Stopped by for breakfast. Had artisan toast with avo, hummus and egg, was tasty. Delish coffee from JTree Roasters.Only strange thing, they brought me water in plastic cup 🙄(Wow, make sure to stop in to pastry store a few doors down, oh my!)
The Food was pretty good. We ordered take out via the internet. The vegan Shepard’s Pie was advertised at $14.00. When I went to pay I was charged $16.00. The server told me that is what our system has it priced at. I think if you advertise online a price you should honour it. The server didn’t seem to care.
Sent out very cold food and our waiter was offended we said anything.
Love the many options available! Never had a bad meal.
Some of the best vegan food I have ever had! Everything I have tried here was delicious. I wish I lived closer to the place I would go everyday. I would have given 5 stars but the server wasn’t very friendly or helpful.
Salmon frittata was very delicious
The location was convenient and the ambiance was good. Staffs were attentive and welcoming. Good customer service and incredibly fast. Liked their burritos.
My breakfast was good just to go and use the bathroom immediately. Worked well! We had to sit outside because it was super noise and overcrowded inside. We used another place for our next morning and were more satisfied. But anyway not bad. Just needs to be improved
EAT HERE!!! The food and service is great. The staff is very friendly and I found this to be the best place to get a flavourful burger. My wife has food sensitivity and this turned out to be the best option for her as their menu accommodates vegetarian and meat lovers alike. We tried their breakfast sandwiches, ate here for lunch and dinner (call us addicts 🤔🤣). If you are in Palm Springs, give them a try as they will not disappoint.
Lovely atmosphere- quiet, calm and very clean. The service is always fantastic, they match the atmosphere and are extremely efficient. The juices and smoothies are very clean(organic) and explained well. There are many options. Their food is exactly as on the menu. No one should fret about anything they should have to eat- all is safe for people who have dietary restrictions. The dishes are very well done, I have never heard a complaint about their fare as I have never had any as well.
Vegan, vegetarian, full menu, even Turkey sausage and burgers for the carnivore. I have been here several times and enjoyed everything I have ordered especially their breakfast potatoes. Parking lot out front, a/c inside and small patio too. Help yourself water. Helpfull staff that caters to all type of diet restrictions.
Dark and gloomy inside, not what we expected. Had the beyond burger and mushroom melt, the sides: Caesar salad and chips were worthy of 2 stars but beyond that the food was greasy and loaded with mayo with not much flavor. Overall it wasn’t what we expected and wouldn’t go back. The staff were nice.
Delicious food. Organic and full of flavor. Tasty and healthy. Great decor. Parking lot. Amazing service.
Just passing through Palm Springs & decided to stop for a quick breakfast. So happy we stumbled on Palm Greens Cafe. French toast was dynamite. Oscars Burrito was so good. And huge! Great staff & prices. Wish we were staying longer so we could try more of the menu.
It is the third time I come here and it is living up to my expectation every time. My girlfriend and I love this place and come here at least once every time we are in Palm Springs. The food is great and the people working there are too! I would recommend it for any meal!
What a great find in downtown Palm Springs! Awesome food and service! Wonderful vegan options and delicious deserts!!!
Fabulous menu and very good service! I had the macrobiotic bowl and my carnivorous husband had the fajita bowl with chicken. I would definitely recommend this cafe and looking forward to returning the next time we are in Palm Springs 😎
Just finished a wonderful meal at Palms Green. We had the curry bowl and veggie lasagne. Both were delicious but oh the “cream” sauce on the lasagne was so gooey and good. Could not believe it was tofu based. Our server was very kind and helpful with a great attitude.
This place was super cute. The food was fresh and tasty, and staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend for vegetarians and omnivores. Great for breakfast or casual lunch- highly recommend.
Love LOVE 😍 LOVE the Buddha balls. Just the right amount of chewiness, sweetness. So good
Very disappointing meal. To begin with, the waiter was rude. My son requested fried egg whites and the waiter in a very condescending tone informed us that it is impossible to fry an egg white. He went on to say that it is automatically scrambled when it’s removed from the shell. I insisted that it was indeed possible as we often do this at home. The waiter then very sarcastically said”perhaps you will be so kind as to share your recipe”. You would think that a restaurant that offers vegan and gluten free items would have a wait staff that is more open to options or at least not be an ass about special requests. Needless to say, the eggs still came out scrambled. Some of the food was actually good (vegan biscuits and gravy) but for the most part, it was awful. The whole wheat pancakes were dry and the sausage was inedible! All of this at high prices! Finally, when I paid with my credit card, the waiter hovered over me and made me very uncomfortable. There are plenty of excellent restaurants specializing in organic and vegan food, unfortunately this isn’t one of them!
Came here for breakfast on a weekend and the restaurant was not busy and we were seated right away. There is a huge selection of vegan items to choose from as well as items with meat and cheese if your group has a mixture of diets. I ordered Oscars burrito vegan and it was the best breakfast burrito Ive ever had. It has jalapenos in it, so it is a bit hot, but just enough heat for me.
My boyfriend and I love this place. We always go several times every time we are in Palm Springs. The food is fresh and tasty and the service is quick. Highly recommend!
Very good vegetarian & vegan options. Service is good. The vegan blueberry pancakes were great. The vegan waffle was okay. They have vegan bacon which I did not like, but the vegan sausage was good. There is a good variety of juices & smoothies, but the smoothie is a meal in itself.
I felt very discriminated against. We didn’t even have a chance to order food yet and we were harassed and followed outside by a rude prejudice employee. We love eating organic, and were there to feed our three year old after a camping trip. Our child was horrified by the belligerent employee who was obviously reflecting the prejudice nature of the management. This was literally the worst experience our family had during our visit to Palm Springs. As a veteran who served two terms in Afghanistan, my family should feel welcome to eat at any restaurant in our country without being scared of cultural profiling.
Great food but horribly slow service
Closed despite HappyCow, Facebook, & google saying that they’re open. Update your hours please
Yummy!!! Brunch is awesome
Great options based on your nutritional needs of everyday life. Vegan based menu with gluten free options are great and tasty.Good service yet it may be slow for some guest rushing in n out.
Very nice and welcoming atmosphere. They made a great cappuccino that was customized.
I always enjoy this place. Its great that they have both vegan options and good meat dishes, which is rare!
Always good and great vegan Reuben sandwich. Very nice friendly people. We love it.
Please cut the plastic! We had a good meal here, but were shocked to have every drink (water and smoothies) served in plastic cups with plastic lids and plastic straws. Many of your customers are likely vegetarian or vegan, and have likely chosen that way of eating due to care for the environment :)
Fresh food and friendly staff. Recommended!
We enjoyed a delicious dinner here in a relaxing environment. Many items are pre-made so can’t be adjusted much but they still had enough variety that even vegan, gluten-free and with a lot of food allergies we found great options. The waiter was helpful, patient and kind even though we arrived near closing time and still seated us for our meal when we were prepared to grab and go if needed. The sautéed greens were delicious and totally hit the spot. We also enjoyed the chickpea salad, fajita bowl, and roasted root veggies.
In town for a week for work, and my coworkers have come here every day since we discovered it! The most nourishing and delicious, healthy and organic food in town with options for everyone and excels equally at breakfast, lunch or dinner. Service is amazing as well, friendly and fast!
This place is amazing. Had a macro bowl, vegan French toast, green smoothie and coffee. Everything was so good. Food came out in less than 15 minutes and the condiments bar (to add milk, nutritional yeast, Braggs etc) to your meal just tops it off.
Give them a 5 stars for the food. Service is just so so.Great selection for the crunchy granola folks! If you can deal with a little attitude from the servers I would highly recommend.Go!Don Ferreira
