I’m trying to be as reasonable as possible, so 3 stars is where I’m staying. The people that work in this store are nice, but the guy who I’m assuming is the manager needs better training in my opinion. We came in to port a number to a new business plan, and intended to purchase a new iPhone as well. He was having a hard time grasping what we were asking to do. We already have a personal plan with AT&T, with a number tied to our business. We just wanted to move that number over to a new account. Pretty straight forward. That wasn’t what bothered me though. Once he finally figured out what we wanted, things started going smooth, until I asked to see the iPhone we would be purchasing. He came back and said, “sorry, the phones are locked up in the back.” Dude, we are about to purchase it. Go and pull it out so we can see it! I refuse to blindly purchase something without looking at it first, but he seemed apathetic about it. It’s not major enough to leave a truly bad review, but it’s a terrible sales tactic to refuse to show a purchaser what they’re purchasing. We will be taking our business to the other side of the valley.

I have never had such amazing customer ever, at any establishment, as I have today at the AT&T at the Smoketree location in Palm Springs!Marc and Daniel personify absolute excellence in customer service. Kind, patient, knowledgeable. They both spent extra time with us. Marc helped us find the best plan for our 9-year-old grandson’s first phone. He took his time and made us feel like we were the only customers in the store.Daniel spent a great deal of time helping me get my stepmom on my Dad’s cellphone account. She had a phone number on the account, but lost her phone and was trying to activate a new phone. She has some dementia and couldn’t find the information needed to complete the process. I felt bad keeping Daniel waiting and he was so incredibly patient, he said not to worry - and he made me feel like the only customer in the store.And mission accomplished - he was amazing!This location has an amazingly kind and considerate team. You have no idea how much their support meant to me.

Id like to share my current experience at att palm springs. If you need something or need to know about their services. I highly recommend speaking to Manuel Manny in sales department and her Manager Laisa they were very knowledgeable and professional. Excellent costumer service 10/10.

I was able to switch mobile carriers, but the rep who helped me Jamie did not check to see if the lines where able to receive calls or texts. I spent nearly 24 hours with no incoming calls or texts in all lines. Furthermore I was told by the representative who helped me switch carriers that my husband who is out of state would be able to obtain a new At&t SIM card by going into a AT&T store in the state where he is without me, the authorized user, being there. I was then later told by At&t Customer service via phone that I had to be physically with my husband at the store out of state for him to retrieve the SIM card which was already paid here in CA. Had I known beforehand and that the rep who helped me at this store had better knowledge of how all the lines worked especially with one line out of state, I would have have added my husband to At&t at a later time and have him under the Tmobile for now. He now has no means of contacting me through the At&t data due to no new SIM card, which has been a very disappointing and worrying process especially during this pandemic. Please do better to educate Reps on how the lines work even out of state.

I will tell you about my experience at this store. I recently lost my phone driver license, so went to pay my bill and make changes to my account. Tania, I believe it was her name, the store salesperson would not help me and refused to even read my passport information to identify myself,  telling me it was expired!!! until I noted with my finger that it wasnt, and showed her the expiration date. I offered her to show any other proof of identity but instead called her manager but he sent me  to one of the stores phones to call customer service. She dialed the post paid customer service number, and I told them the situation providing all my information and the representative got surprised they wouldnt help me, apologize and explained to my they would have to help me because they would have to see my physical ID and asked to talk to her, they did and had an  argument about it, and because Tania and the manager did not take my “official” types of ID,  I wasnt able to pay my bill nor make changes. The representative over the phone did offer to take my payment!!! Why would I pay for a service I wasnt going to be able to use because they could not update my information??? End of of the story, I didnt pay my bill (no big deal, I got another phone service)  and have the option to go to the competition. Thanks Thania for the great work you are doing for the corporate company  AT&T you are working for!!! She even told me I was being rude when I noted the expiration date on my passport. I believe she was the one being rude (or worse) telling a customer his  form of identificacion is not good, when she had not completely read yet when I was bringing money for her payroll!!!...Great way to get promoted!!!! and management to get great ratings in their store!!!

I had a great experience at the AT&T store in Palm Springs recently. Alex was super friendly and knowledgeable and very patient with me as I was having trouble with my iPhone since it took a dump in the washer. She was able to get me a new phone and checked my upgrades and was able to help me transfer all of my data which I thought I had lost to my new phone. I highly recommend this store. Everyone very friendly and made me feel welcome.

First of all, best service ever! All employees and the manager were very helpful, patient, professional!Yesterday I was there for two hours fixing an ongoing case sinceMarch 2020 and Martin (manager) helped me and definitely apologized for the situation as well.Today I went there again for one hour and forty minutes to make sure my bill was adjusted and all this waiting since yesterday was worth it!A little message to everyone: Patience is everything now, especially through these difficult times as well. Please be respectful and build up on your patience if you want something. We need to be nice to one another, especially the employees! They are there to help and do there job efficiently.

Was in desperate need of a new phone. Googled the nearest at&t store to see that this one was the closest and opened at 10am. Got there at 10:05 and the doors were still locked.Then an employee showed up who asked me if the doors were still locked. I said yes, he then walked around the side of the building.Left me outside waiting in 100 degree + weather. Showed up again after about 20 minutes and said the person who was supposed to open forgot and was still about 20 minutes away.He then just got in his car.At&t lost my business. Switching to Verizon

Went in this evening, only guy working there was rude. It was 7pm they didnt close until 8pm he made it seem like It was an inconvenience that we came in. He didnt have his name tag on and didnt even introduce himself. There was no one else in the store to even have the excuse to say that he was busy. I have been a customer with at&t for a very long time and I have never had this type of service before!!!!! Worse customer service ever from this guy!!! Your afternoon people were so much friendlier and gave great information!

The Well in the Desert is not a homeless shelter. It is a homeless resource center, that offers a place for homeless people to take showers, get out of the heat of summer (112°); and offers referrals for many different things: Section-8 subsedized housing, county welfare, case workers, food, medical care, and more. All of the staff and volunteers try hard, but most of the homeless people have different kinds of character defects that make it difficult to help them.

I had been having a lot of issues on the phone with the main customer service center on password and technical issues.When I came into the AT&T store in Palm Springs I was very frustrated.My first encounter was with Shahin who for over 1 hour did everything thing possible to his knowledge to rectify a very frustrating situation. He was extremely I knowledgeable and confronted an problem that could not be solved but kept trying every possible scenario.In the end Martin the store manager had joined Shahin and together came up with an alternative solution which was far beyond what I had been trying to accomplish and I was so pleased at the outstanding customer service I had received from both Shahin and Martin.Thank you for going way above and beyond.RespectfullyPierre

Sold me a screen protector, solid protector but the sales staff, manegement included seemed to not understand the very basic warranty on the box.I was sold the protector under the guise that warranty covers ALL DAMAGE. However, the warranty clearly states that it will only cover manufacturers defaults and production errors.When I tried to bring this to their attention. Management promptly ensured me I was wrong about the warranty and I did not know what I was talking about because they had exchanged the warranties themselves.When I brought the warranty in to read in conjunction with the manager, I was again assured that I was wrong, the box was wrong, and that the website and sales people informed them that the warranty would cover all damage. A short viewing of the manufactuers website confirmed that no accidental damage is covered in their exchange program.I was treated like I was wrong the entire time, even when I showed them proof I wasnt. This store manager needs to learn how to buck up that lip and say I was wrong, let me help you fix that problem.I will be following up with corporate on this, having worked retail for years, treating customers like that on a managerial level is bad training and bad business.

Awesome ATT store. Ive been to many stores and this one always gets me discounts and deals on my phones and extras. This time I got $200.00 off my bill for a special promotion. I dont know the details but the staff member looked up my account and then searched for a way to save me money. I didnt ask them to do this - it was just how they were trained to deliver service I guess. Excellent!

Organized, but mainly sales related. They do have a kiosk for bill paying, which speeds things up considerably (Im not familiar with on-line bill pay yet).Cust svc will answer questions, however, seem to cool when they discover you are not there to buy. It seems most phone stores I have encountered recently, are this way....Sell the product, then avoid the cust when possible.Most cust svc know very little about the apps or how to apply them.

Beth at the AT&T Store did a horrible Job at customer service, the AT&T Employee on the phone at the customer retention department did a horrible job at customer service. AT&T Has done a horrible job and treating me with respect as a customer.I have been in a constant back and forth with the company for almost a year now, ever since about when net neutrality was on the chopping block.I was told that I could switch to a business account and maintain my current plan, speed, unlimited usage, hotspot, etc etc.I was dropped to a lower plan, double charged on two accounts for about 8 months straight. Between the two plans AT&T has charged me close to $800 in the past month for an account that should only be around $250 a month, which is expensive to begin with.Do not trust AT&T with serving you. They only serve themselves.

Kept trying to up sell my wife and I on cable even though we just came in to buy phones tried to do some janky deal with military discount to make it seem like I was saving money but was only for the first month, costing me way more money in the long runGot the buy one phone get secondary one for free and he didnt even set up the secondary phone I had to do that the next day when the service was shut off, thankfully he set up the first one correctly, but on top of that not even sure Im getting the deal I was supposed to get cause he didnt even set up the direct bill pay so here I am setting that up now and as I am doing this the online rep said we were not not even set up online for any of it. Dont know if the guy that set me up was new or just is just an idiot at his job but he really need to re learn and get things right or find a new job.I will never go though at&t again once my contract is up I will be switching and can not recommend anyone to buy a phone here.-edit---- if anyone has read this far my bill is also 60.00 dollars more a month then what I was told in the store.......

You know that cliche if I could leave zero stars?! That is how I feel. I didn’t want the iPad. They were insistent. Said it’s $100. Were waiving the monthly service fee. One month later I’m fighting with att and showing them the paperwork. They waived the fee. The next month the same thing. The month after that they said what did you think was going to happen? A $100 iPad? I said, no more att. One sales person pushed a long term customer to Verizon. Additionally, the customer service folks on the phone acknowledged these shenanigans and said I wish the sales people wouldn’t do this. They know it just causes trouble. The corporation acknowledges they have a problem! Fix it!

I spent hours on the phone with AT&T to resolve a fraudulent phone purchase on my account and was instructed to bring the phone for return to the nearest store. Once I arrived, the ladies at the shop had no interest in helping me. Maybe returns are too hard for them, or dont come with commission or bonuses, but they were completely unwilling to help. I ended up spending another hour on the phone with AT&T for a mailing label to resolve this by mail which is such a bummer when we have brick and mortar stores for this. So much for customer service...

So went to the ATT Store yesterday and this straight guy was helping me while a cut on my finger tip opened up and dropped a little blood on his nice white counter top, I asked for a tissue to clean it up. He disappears for 15 minutes and returns with this gay worker who (wait for it) is wearing purple kitchen gloves and a holding clorox wipes. I was in hysterics, I dont have HIV and laughed at his inability to handle the blood, he had to bring out Nurse Ratchit dressed like an EMS clean up crew member to handle the situstion. Get educated Phone Boy! Thanks for the laugh at your overwhelming ignorance. Ive shared my experience with (I think his name is Robey) with the entire Palm Springs Gay community both political and social, good luck getting this future reviews phone boy. Learn, educate yourself and stick with equal treatment of all your clients.
