I’ve not hired Patton, but a gate across the street made by Automatic has NEVER worked right in the couple yrs there.Many contractors have appeared to repair it, but to no avail.Yesterday Patton came and actually fixed it to work everytime.I’ve watched the progress of this corrugated metal gate they call “Modern” here, (we put that style around junkyards in Cincinnati) & have enjoyed watching the snafu.It’s over now, thanks to Patton!!!!!!Good work guys, you obviously know what you’re doing.

This company is extremely honest and wont try to rip you off. Had another gate company come out prior and they told me everything was wrong and it was big money. Patton then came out and found that it was a small plastic part. Thank you for your honesty and not trying to take advantage. Will be calling you first from now on

Ive had Patton Door & Gate come a few times over the last several years since we moved here. Twice to clean & re-lube the overhead garage door, and once to install insulation on that door. Theyre professional, polite, and there were never any ups & extras. Desert dust makes routine maintenance necessary on our doors here, much more so than back in Illinois.

6/11/2019Garage Door WoesLast Wednesday my residence garage door refused to open. Was able to raise the door manually to move the automobile out. The door then stopped midway during closing and would not budge. Wires at either end had malfunctioned and were off their rollers.Ive used Patton Door & Gate in the past so called and managed to get squeezed into their afternoon schedule. The technician arrived in the afternoon and managed to restore the wires onto their rollers. The $95 service call charge was the only payment required.Saturday the door malfunctioned again and the roller wires had become tangled so that I could not move the door either with the motor or manually. Patton Door & Gate are closed on weekends. Their emergency service response advised me there would be a $250 fee for a technician who would only open/close the garage door and allow removal of my car. When the technician (who came from Beaumont) arrived he realized the door was the same one he had repaired on Wednesday. He advised there would be no charge for his services and that I should call the office Monday morning for full repair technician service.Yesterday (Monday) Patton Door & Gate squeezed me into an after lunch appointment. The technician arrived and was later joined by a second technician. They worked on the door until after 5 pm before achieving success in restoring the door to its previous functionality. When the job was finished they informed me there would be NO CHARGE. I protested that the only fee Id paid was the $95 service call last week. The response was that this work was all covered by their 30 day guarantee for the preceding Wednesday work on the same issue.Was greatly pleased by the no charge news and, of course, getting the door back in working order. I definitely will use (and recommend) Patton Door & Gate for my future needs.Bond Shands

I was out of town but I needed to have an electronic safety eye added to my rolling gate setup. Patton door came out, let themselves in and installed everything without any of us even having to be there. When they called to say the job was done I asked them if they could possibly fix the hinge on the nearby RV gate (I didnt buy the gate from Patton) because I knew they had a welding machine with them. Of course! And everything for a good price too. I love knowing that they are conveniently located nearby (near Lowes in Palm Springs) and very responsive. Thats very important when your rolling gate or a overhead garage door suddenly stops working!

Was on hwy 111 and a Patton Gate Truck (pulling a trailer no less) Drove up fast right behind us and was only a half a car length behind. Truck was swerving in and out of the lanes cutting people off just to get in front. Didnt use a blinker and didnt give much space when he swerved over. Shouldnt drive like an A-hole when you have your business and phone number on your truck. Not coo and super dangerous!

Ugh. Absolutely the worst. 4 months late on the deadline...gates that don’t work properly and the worst customer service ever. They say they stand behind their work but they don’t. Once they have your money they don’t return calls or emails and if you have a problem they will do everything they can to avoid taking responsibility. They are nasty, rude, condescending and laugh at you when you want them to fix their shoddy work. Avoid this company like the plague.
