This is more of a high end shop for skin, hair care and, makeup however it is worth the investment for a wider range of products and better customer service.The ladies and gentleman here are lovely and attentive. I had to take a trip to this Sephora location after having a very bad experience at the Palmdale, Ulta.I had such a refreshing time while also finding all the products I needed.I definitely recommend this store ππ½
They constantly giving out plenty of free products for you to try. Even as a guy Ive come here to find some palates that can work with my skin tone to help enhance my features. If you ever need anything I would recommend here for it since the workers will help out to find something for you
Awesome service, they took proper precaution to limit the amount of people inside. They were helpful in finding what I needed and helped me find what I was looking for quick. Reasonable prices and nice employees Ill go back when I run out of makeup! Didnt question why a guy was buying make up which is fantastic! I highly recommend checking it out
My experience was on March 13th, with Lauren the manager- I purchased a product in December, $23_. I ended up staying with my grandma who needed help during the pandemic after holiday surge, and I called to make sure I could exchange when I returned to town (and could safely go out without worrying about her ending up with it if I did). They assured me it would be fine, I didnt think twice about it because returns are usually simple with Sephora. When arriving today - and after purchasing $300 worth of items, I was told I could not exchange or return it because it was just under 2 weeks past 60 days. Really? Its a pandemic, it was less than 14 days - and it was $23. I have been a loyal VIP/Rouge customer for years, it was my first time out in months and with my girls - I was looking forward to an enjoyable experience - and all I got was a reminder that forgiveness is hard earned even in a worldwide pandemic. The $23 I couldve lived without (though obviously I lost my job like the majority of others), but the attitude is what made it all the worse. It isnt hard to be nice to people, I know people are stressed, but a little kindness goes a long way. We headed to Ulta afterwards, which happened to be right down the street, and I learned they have a cash/reward program that offers a better deal for my skincare and makeup purchases than Sephora, as well as a wider variety, and 20% coupons that my girls found online (Sephora never seems to offer many coupons minus the semi annual rouge one which doesnt quite compare to all the purchases). Lauren, Im sorry you seemed to be having a rough day, and I hope it did in fact take a turn for the better, as ours did once we left.
Customer service, what customer service?I was looking for mens cologne here and found next to nothing. One could find more mens cologne at the local .After looking around the store for 30 minutes and asking for help I never had anyone assist me.A less than mediocre selection of womens perfume at best. Seems to me this place is ran by young ladies who like to play Lets make up each other.

One of the sales assistants came up to me with a shopping basket telling me you need a basket and pretty much forced me to use it. This is a trick they do to customers who they suspect of shoplifting.Yeah, thank you for reminding me of how ratchet my wardrobe is, my style is pretty rare so itβs hard for me to find clothes that match the aesthetic. LOLIβll remember to always support Ulta instead, the ladies there are angels.

I use drugstore makeup so being here overwhelms me . Thank goodness for the girls here, the service was fantastic. Michelle helped me with finding a good product for my brows and a good moisturizer. I wish I could have gotten the girl who rang me up, she was so sweet. No wonder my sister recommended me here.
This place is stuffed yet they never have what youre looking for.One of the ladys tone was incredibly off as if shes a teenage boy to his mother.

The workers here are always smiling and making me feel welcome. They are always willing to give you a helping hand. Its always tidy and stocked up. A+!
Customer service needs major improvement. I saw many workers at the store, but only one was hustling, helping multiple customers at the same time. It took the staff about an hour to do two things for me: 1. grab me a cologne and 2. color match me for a foundation. It did NOT have to take that long.
Spent about 2-3 hours sitting at the little table with them trying to find something that wont irritate my skin, then they just give up and say a product will just have to do even though it did nothing). Spent a pretty penny on stuff that was supposed to heal my dry and red face, but no changes whatsoever. Pretty much have to have perfect skin before you even use their expensive products that already do nothing.
Horrible customer service people there are really rude the energy there is not good. One day I was looking for make up and then the lady walked up to me and said you need permission to wear make up. I wish I can rate is zero stars but I canβt this is the worst make up store in cosmetics store I ever been to no manners at all
All I have to say is this Sephora is very unprofessional. One of the employees had a hickey on her neck and it made her look very dirty at work. Not shopping her anymore. Your appearance shows who you are. What ever happens intimately in your relationship should stay at home not at work.

Service was great, but I just left the urgent care due to eye infection I got yesterday. I had one of the employees there try on under eye concealer with their brushes. BIG Mistake!

There wasnt alot of people and I needed help with skincare there was one guy (I asked him, he said hell help me never did) nobody seemed they wanted to help anyone in skincare I even asked the lady at the cash register Brenda she just kept telling me about kits and the sale for black friday and nothing about the products I was holding I was gonna buy more than $100 dollars in products but nobody helped me so...

They have the best make-up well the best brands been here a few times to get my Kat von d foundation and eyeliner which i love for sure youll find what you need. I do need to point out that their customer service skills are not the best and rarely have enough people to help you, or have to wait long time to get the help you need.

When I need help with something they always say it in the rudest manner like if I was interrupting them when they were just gossiping with their coworkers or fixing the displays! Id rather order it online from now on & wait than to ever go back to this horrible place!
They have the worst customer service and morale. Hate going there to buy my Kat VonD makeup. I have been denied samples, birthday gifts for myself and my daughters. As paying costomers deserve a fair treatment, also treated fair as any other paying costomer. Sadly they dont sell Kat VonD at Ulta, otherwise I would never return. The best employee that was there is no longer there. Why do they let go of the best employees?
They ALWAYS run out of everything and barley restock. The workers have weird attitudes aswell. Theyllmspend forever on one client even if you asked for help way in advance. Im not sure if there is racism at all but I see them catering more to the customers who look like them. Mind you, there is no diversity to their staff. I dont see anyone like myself or opposite of me working there lol. Its led me to believe that there may be some racial bias. Check the last names of the people who actually have good reviews on here... Just saying.There should be different types of people working there anyway because the current staff doesnt know how to color match anyone who doesnt have the same skin tone as theirs. Dont waste your time at this location. I dont think they plan on fixing anything there any time soon.

I was there today to return an UNUSED makeup brush (MakeupForver); that I literally just received last night via UPS. * Mind you, I did NOT use the brush nor did I open the plastic wrap it was in. * I decided to return the unused brush simply because I changed my mind about the brush. So, this return that should have only taken a couple of minutes; it literally took 15mins!! To top it off I had my 5 year old with me and I was also in a hurry to pick up my kids from school. Anyway, the sales rep asked if the brush was used; I replied with NO. She then asked: Okay, so whats the reason you want to return it? Is there something wrong with it?? I then replied with: NO. I simply changed my mind. She then ripped open the plastic wrap and lifted the brush, turned it around, messed with the bristles, and analyzed the brush for a few more minutes. She then called over a male coworker and asked him if it was okay for her to accept the item. He then said Yes. Thats fine!. But she was not satisfied. She then called her manager over, asked her about the item. She then had the manager go over the return procedure, look up the item number, and asked me AGAIN if the item was used!!! By this time Im already frustrated and HUMILIATED!!! I told the manager : I LITERALLY RECEIVED THE BRUSH LAST NIGHT AND NO, I DID NOT USE IT. SHE OPENED THE PLASTIC WRAP. So, after this experience, I highly doubt Ill ever return to this Sephora. They need better training overall. I will email corporate too. I spend too much money at Sephora to be treated this way. Plus, even if the brush was used, I know I still would have been able to return it.

Made me use my ID for an EXCAHNGE not a RETURN because someone at store 2776 in Buford, Georgia tried to return something with my receipt number (keep in mind, I had my receipt). So, I had no choice but to flag my ID even though that wasnt even an issue of mine and I wasnt involved in that. I felt like they just pushed me aside and didnt even try to figure out the issue. I told them I didnt like a foundation because the base was too pink and they gave me THE SAME FOUNDATION IN A DIFFERENT SHADE. I was so upset and disappointed. So, a few days later, I had no choice but to drive to Sephora in Valencia and I told them about the situation and they took care of me no problem. I had to take my two sons in this heat 45 minutes down the hill for better customer service.
I swear they are trained to point out every flaw about you and put you down. I just needed some light foundation or B.B./cc cream. I told them I wanted something with it dewey finish that is quick and easy to put on. I donβt have time to use a brush and do highlights and low lights and all that stuff. I am a mom. I had my three-year-old and my six-month-old with me. First off I had to ask three times for someone to help me. When I finally did get help she was so rude! She didnβt listen to what I had to say and did all this stuff with the brush on me. She insisted it was my color but I said I donβt like that color on me. She put on several thick layers to ensure that it was even to cover up all the marks on my face. She said it shouldnβt take more than 10 minutes for me to do it. I said I donβt have 10 minutes to do my foundation. She looked at me like I had an octopus on my head and said βyou donβt have 10 minutes to do your make up and look good?β And I said I have about 10 minutes total to do all of my make up. I donβt have 10 minutes just to do the foundation. She put the stuff down and said fine walked away and got someone else to come and help me. This girl was just as rude. She said that sheβs a mom too and when itβs time for her to do her make up she tells her kids to go do something else and leave mommy alone because itβs mommy me time and maybe I should do that too. I told her no I canβt do that. Then she told me about their line that could fix all the acne I have. I kept telling her Iβve just started Rodan and Fields a few days ago so yes I have a bad break out right now. But thatβs not what Iβm here for. Iβm here for Foundation or BB/cc cream. She said that I need more than just A light coverage foundation I need full coverage and some green stuff to help even out my red marks and some other stuff. I know my face is messed up. Thatβs why am here! My skin has been going through some major changes because Iβm in my mid-30s and I just had a baby. Aging and hormones are not a good mix! Then she told me they have an aesthetician If I ever want to get my eyebrows done to βfix up this messβ pointing at my eyebrows. I told her my usual girl that does my eyebrows just had a baby so I had to get them done by someone else and they made them too thin so Iβm letting them grow out right now and she said it looks bad and I need to fix it. I finally ended up just leaving. I felt horrible about myself when I walked out of a place that I shouldβve walked out feeling beautiful. And then my husband called like 10 minutes later and I started crying because I feel so ugly and horrible about myself. My husband said donβt let it bother me because theyβre just trying to get me to buy more stuff so they can make more commission and they have 10 layers of clown make up on so I shouldnβt listen to what they say.This place has horrible customer service and no manners at all! I will never shop there Again! This happened at the Sephora in JCPennyβs at the AV mall.
Horrible service!! I had scheduled an appointment to have my makeup done for my sisters wedding 3 1/2 weeks prior. A week before the event they cancel saying no one will be able to go in at that time. Absolutely ridiculous!
This store sucks I tried to get a foundation match with fenty, but I guess a client was getting a facial and so everyone had to look at that, the girl wasnt even training them, an employee looked back at me and said Im busy.

Usually I have a mediocre experience at the Palmdale Sephora...nothing special. Today though, they had their grand opening of their updated store, and let me tell you guys it was aweful. The employees were god aweful, very rude and try to sell whatever they can even if its not what your looking for. I was suppose to get a cute tote bag for purchasing a certain item they had and at the end of my purchase they forgot to give the gift to me. I had to get back to work, so when I went back when I was off..they told me sorry we dont have it anymore. On my way out I had girls who work there disrespecting my hair and look...I use to be a fan of Sephora..but I will be taking my services to Ulta from now on...the women is Sephora Palmdale are disturbing and unprofessional. I go in here religiously. Every time I do, no one comes up to me and ask me if I need help etc. When I ask associates questions, I always receive snarky, short answers. I asked one if they had a product in stock and the response I got was If its not there we dont have it and she continued stocking... Ok... Dont like the vibe, dont like the service at all.

Even after remodeling, they still not good as the other Sephora stores. Employees are more concerned about their makeup and needed touch ups than helping clients. and when they do you end leaving with the wrong foundation shade :(

Probably the most horrible Sephora Ive been to . They never seem to have anything literally the only Sephora that basically doesnt have anything you will see in a Sephora that has everything if that makes sense ... Nothing is in stock or they dont carry them . I got told to go to a Sephora all the way in Valencia for a lipstick they dont carry there . Service sucks everything there makes me wanna move away from Palmdale or just go to a mall out of Palmdale . Dont come here unless you know that they have what you are looking for and the chances of that happening is 10% because nothing is ever in stock :)
