Even if you know PCs, go to C-Cat. My custom-built gaming PC stopped powering on suddenly. I walked in worrying I was going to waste money and time because I was 100% sure it was the power supply. 15 minutes later C-Cat helped me identify a bad motherboard. This guys a godsend. You can find spare parts and equipment everywhere, but what really helps is having a second pair of eyes, a level head, and a professional opinion. Definitely going back here just to support the business.

Amazing work! My desktop was overheating with CPU temps pushing over 90C. I knew I needed to replace the thermal paste and the cooling system (computer is a few years old), and they recommended the same thing. No lies, no gimmicks, no hoax upsells. Finished the work a day earlier than quoted at a reasonable rate. Very communicative via text.Definitely recommend them for anyone who needs work done on their computer. In fact, Im going to bring my laptop in next week for some thermal paste replacement and deep cleaning.

I dropped my laptop and broke the screen. I first took it to the geek squad they said it would cost more to send it out for an estimate than to buy a new one well I didnt believe that so I looked online for computer repair shops in the AV and C-Cat Computers was close to home so I called and told them the Situation and the told me to bring it in and Im so glad that I did because he replaced my screen for fair price AND removed some viruses for free! Carlos owner at C-Cat Computer was a kind and AWESOME guy. My computer is a Dell and I took it in to previous shop for a port jack and the guy put a HP port jack and turned off my Microsoft pointer and cursor and Carlos fixed. He placed the correct Dell jack port on my laptop. Now mind you he fixed what I came in for the port jack. He also went above and beyond. He checked for viruses, added free virus protection and cleaned and sealed areas on the inside of keyboard. He turned a box for Microsoft on that was unchecked which caused major problems on the keboard functions. This had to happen by the previous computer guy, I couldnt use most keys on laptop. Carlos took care of me with no hesitation. I would give 10 stars. I highly recommend this computer shop. Thank you Carlos.

I’ve only had to deal with these folks on a couple of occasions and my experience wasn’t super great. I didn’t have the chance to deal with them for a computer repair, but for rather one of the other services provided at this business, since the business owner wanted to be sure I didn’t rate their repair service.

I appreciate a small, independent repair shop over the big guys like Best Buy. C-Cat is located in part of a gas station. I found them when I pulled in one day for gas. Its actually quite roomy inside the shop; better accommodations than other places I have seen.The owner, Carlos, is very personable and friendly. He explained what he would do and what it would cost. I took two machines--a desktop and a laptop--in for repairs. Both machines were repaired faster than Carlos estimated. One was available the next day; the other a day early. Both machines run just fine now and I am perfectly satisfied with his service.

I have received so much help from c cat n he has always given me a solution when other places couldn’t help me at all r wanted to send my laptop out to Apple for months n charge me a lot on some items he didn’t even charge for just explained an easy fix. Carlos is the man. I have been using Carlos for probably 10 years. He has built me a custom unit to what i needed. I havent found a problem he couldnt fix, and believe me Ive had some big ones.
