Dont waste your time! They DONT call you back and they are rude when you question them. When service guy did come out; he was an hour late, was rushing to leave, said I needed a new motor (was working fine before he came), would provide a quote for new motor but wanted to sell me a new vacuum. Weeks went by and I never did get the quote, when I left messages; no one called back and NOW my vacuum is dead.....

Although they are not inexpensive, an Electrolux canister vacuum cleaner is absolutely the best vacuum cleaner in the world. I have had an Electrolux Diplomat vacuum cleaner with a motorized rug beater since I bought it in 1985. It is now May 25, 2019 (34 years) and it is still sucking up dirt with tremendous suction. The electric motor which runs the vacuum has never burned out and has never been replaced.As the meticulous, methodical and vastly underrated President Calvin Coolidge so pithily noted: No enterprise can exist for itself alone. It ministers to some great need, it performs some great service, not for itself, but for others; or failing therein, it ceases to be profitable and ceases to exist. Electrolux has indeed effectively ministered to the great need Coolidge talks about. The Electrolux company should be proud that they manufactured a product with so much effectiveness and durability. 34 years of continuous use without a motor burn out? Amazing!

Terrible. I returned a defective central vacuum hose sock and I am getting a run around to get a refund. Its been over a month of multiple excuses and lies. I also learned they grossly over charged me for the item. The exact item is available on Amazon for $35 but I paid $100. This after an overall purchase of over $900. I also bought another vacuum from them for over $1,000. They may be nice when it comes to a sale but there is no customer service when there is a problem. Be wary fellow consumer. Theyre like cockroaches in the daylight when it comes to getting your money back.

On 12/21/19 I paid for vacuum cleaner service at Areus Electrolux in Plamer, MA. The invoice total was $171.39. I gave the clerk a Visa gift card for $100. She rang it twice, unsuccessfully. She called her superior who informed her that their machine does not accept gift cards. I then gave the clerk my debit card and left. The next day, I attempted to use the gift card at a retailer for holiday shopping. The card was declined. When I called the number on the card, it indicated a recent charge, 12/21/19, for $100 to Areus Electrolux. I called Electrolux on December 23, 2019, they acknowledged the problem and said they would issue a credit to my debit card because they could not credit a gift card. Called on Electrolux on December 27, 2019 to inquire on the status of the refund and was told, please be patient, the holiday is to blame for the delay. I called Electrolux on January 3, 2020 to inquire about the status of the $100 refund. I was told that the funds had left their account that day and should receive a refund any day now. I called Electrolux January 10, 2020 to inquire about the refund, left a voicemail message and asked for someone to contact me. I did not hear from them. I called January 17, 2020 and spoke with Alexis who said I had to speak with Deb, but she was out for the day. She promised that I would hear from a company representative on or before January 20, 2020. I did not hear from anyone and called at the end of the day on 1/20/20 and asked that someone get back to me. No one got back to me, and I called today, January 24, 2020, received their voicemail and left a message.**UPDATE**January 29, 2020:After a complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau, the Consumer Protection Agency through the Attorney Generals Office, A review on Google and Yelp, the business issued a refund. Other than the refund, the business never reached out to me.

Met them at a Home show and signed up for a water test to be done. They came and did a water test and informed me what was going on. I ended up purchasing an Reverse Osmosis system. I am very pleased with the product.
