Elisha greeted myself and my husband and was so sweet and ready to help with any concerns we had. She gave us a tour of the facility and the storage unit which is a 10x15 that is climate controlled. Called for a price on parking a small 8 X 18’ flat trailer, and they quoted $140/month for uncovered payment parking…crazy expensive.

Just signed up for a small indoor unit with April and everything went super smoothly. I’ve used a lot of different storage units in different states and I feel this is a top tier facility and staff. Prices are very competitive and the upgraded security system is a huge bonus.

We had a very good experience when renting storage from this facility. From the start, Elisha was very helpful on the telephone, as we were renting a unit from a distance. We even got a follow up phone call on the day we were driving there to make sure we would get there in time before they closed (they said they would wait for us to arrive! Who does that?).When we did arrive, the place was clean, and Elisha was just as friendly in person as she was on the phone. She showed us our unit first before we rented it, and we decided we wanted something closer to the door. She was able to change everything with little effort. She answered all of our questions and was super helpful.The only thing that was a surprise is that we had to pay for insurance. That must be a standard thing, but we were not aware of it, and it was just slightly irritating to be forced to buy something you dont want. I gave this place 5 stars because they did a good job with customer service, and the place was clean. I also loved that they have carts you can use to get your stuff from your car to the unit, using the elevators. We would have struggled without those.

We needed a large outside storage space. We worked with Elisha O at the Palmetto location she was awesome. One phone call, a quick tour and we had our perfect spot. Elisha took the time to explain the complete contract and Facilty to us. This is old fashion customer service at its best.

The property safety is top notch and I felt safe even going at night by myself when I needed an item in a pinch that was being stored. So yesterday, I received a courtesy call from the staff alerting me to the fact that the recent winds shredded the tarp I had covering my camper. This morning, I brought a new tarp to storage. The staff member on duty, Austin, was very professional and friendly. He graciously provided a ladder so my wife and I could replace the tarp. When Austin noticed we were struggling to cover the camper due to the strong gusts of wind, he stopped by and helped us get the tarp in place so all we had to do was lash it down. Without Austin going above and beyond the call of duty, we would probably still be there fighting with the tarp!

First of all, the staff is great to work with and always available to help when needed. The facility is always clean and secure. It is a great place to use for storage of trucks and supplies.

My experience with Simply Self Storage and, specifically, with the store manager, Lee Stewart, was exceptional. Lees customer service was impeccable. We reserved a unit online and when we arrived everything was exactly as stated online - price, unit size and location, etc. The rental was quick and easy with no surprises, just as renting a storage unit should be. Generally, the main issue I have experienced with storage facilities is the customer service. The attitude is always one of complete indifference towards customers, however, my experience with Lee was completely different. He was so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient! (Side note: I worked in the hospitality industry for almost 15 years with both Marriott and Starwood. If I were still in the industry, I would have offered Lee a job on the spot. Simply Self Storage: I hope you recognize the value of this high quality manager. Give him a raise! Give him a promotion! Managers like these are few and far between.) Additionally, the facility is very clean and well maintained, seems to be very secure, with good systems in place to ensure this. Highly recommend.

What can I say. The staff is excellent and they go out of their way to accommodate you. The facility is clean, well-lit and convenient. There are always platform trucks by the entrance. The price is competitive. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

Very difficult to turn and maneuver into their tight spaces with a boat- do-able but you need to work at it. Water has been down now for about 5 days, so the normal boat flushing area to wash your motors out with fresh water is not use-able. And typically the wash area is full of loose gravel and stuff that you track into your boat. Could all be fixed relatively easily with a half hour of work with a good broom and shovel. Water is going to be down for some time I was told as they need to order a back hoe. Nice people though and a clean facility generally, but water areas need attention.UPDATE: water fixed, area is cleaner and pothole is scheduled for fixing.

This facility is hands down the best storage facility I have ever had to deal with! Michelle and Lee called to remind me each time I had an appointment, and they were not only extremely helpful but genuinely sincere in their quest to assist. Move-in day was a breeze as I had already seen my exact unit and knew the best entrance to park in front of. The facility is spotless and there are always plenty of carts to use. As we all know, moving is stressful, especially when there is a storage unit involved, but the staff at Simply Self Storage went out of their way to make sure it was as simple and convenient as possible.

April and Lee were excellent in their customer service skills. They were pleasant to work with and provided us with very useful information. If you are looking for a place to store your property, I recommend they be your first choice.

Clean & Professional. We have one of the climate controlled units and we are very happy. We also got a great move in deal for a fraction of the cost of our normal months rent. The entire place is kept immaculate. Thats important to me. Great place!

BEWARE !! Damage-vandalism to RV TWICE ... there IS problem here, also told by Police. Security gate often open, red call button at door doesnothing, difficult to reach anyone. NOT good. Police Report filed & on record for damage done TWICE. Police have been to this facility many times for issues ... again, BEWARE ...

Amazing staff!! They go out of their way to make your moving experience as easy as possible :) It seems very safe at night, if you’re going alone. I personally have never felt threatened or the least bit creeped out, it’s also good to know there’s full surveillance on at all times! Highly recommend!! Our family has been with them for years. Staff is friendly and nice I guess, units are alright too... Thing that really pisses me off when i first got the unit it started around 220 a month... a while later all of a sudden its 240.... a while later again all of a sudden 265.... thankfully Im getting rid of the unit because now starting next month guess what... another 20 dollar price hike. Will never recommend this place and Im so happy to finally be able to get rid of the unit

I rent a 10x25 drive up unit. It is clean, no rust on the building, the entire grounds and building are kept up to an excellent standard. I can come and go by a security coded gate, and the staff are always ready to lend a hand. My door was hard to open, and the girls in the office came right around with a can of grease so my door slides easy for me. I am very happy with the service I get from this company.

What a great experience! Lidia was EXTREMELY friendly and made my storage worries disappear as she put me into the perfect unit. Very clean facilities with easy-to-use gate access. Lee and his team are awesome! They are always helpful and the units are always clean. I have 2 units there now and in the past have had up to 5. I have lived all over the country for work and had to store items in every state- they are the best by far!

Top of the line for self storage! Clean, dry, and well lit. The staff go out of their way to accommodate your needs. We had a unit on the second floor with air conditioning and a large elevator to move stuff with the provided moving carts. The prices are reasonable, and if you need an extra day or two, the staff is willing to prorate those days.

Always have great service at this location. The staff is really kind and helpful.

Found Extra Space Storage online as I was moving to Palmetto and knew I would need some off site storage and Russell was so nice over the phone. I arrived and things went so smooth. The facility was clean and I felt very safe at it. Without a doubt, Extra Space Storage is the best storage facility I have ever used!

Recently moved into the area, looking for a place to store my trailer. I happened to drive by simply self storage and decided to go in. Was greeted warmly by a very kind receptionist named Sue. She promptly asked me what I needed and began to look for a storage space for my trailer. She nervously drove me around in her cart looking for the space I needed. She promptly found one and asked me if that was to my liking. I stated yes and she took me back to the office area to start the paperwork. While taking the information she happen to tell me I resembled Carl Weathers from the Rocky movies. I began to tell her a story that Ive been telling for about 30 years now, and she kindly listened. She found exactly what I was looking for and her kindness and professionalism were a breath of fresh air in a day that had been full of frustration. Thanks to Sue and the other staff at simply storage my experience was a very easy five out of five stars, and would suggest using simply storage to all my new friends in Florida.
