Always enjoy stopping by here for some fresh produce! Got some strawberries, fresh Tuna, shrimp, bacon wrapped scallops, corn on the cob, green beans and asparagus!! They have everything you want, fruits, vegetables, local honey, breads. Whenever Im in the area I try to stop by. Great spot highly suggest you stopping especially if your heading to the beach.

My first time here and I needed a couple of things quick to prepare dinner. This place has to much produce to just pop in for a second...you will be late if you are in a hurry because there is so much that you will want to buy and see. I will go back in a few day and maybe I will be able to give a more comprehensive review. So far so good.....🙂

We love the fresh veggies and fruit but the best are the Strawberries never had such tasty sweet strawberries. If you havent been you should go. Susan has it all plants, flowers, fruit, veggies, fresh seafood, breadsand cakes!! Oh my the good stuff.

Beautiful flowers, but the strawberries were the best, sweet and delicious. I also got squash and green onions, a small pound cake and even some cool whip. They have a lot to offer, to much to mention.

Love the fresh fish and fresh produce. The people who work and run this stand are pretty nice too.Just ate a salted caramel macadamia nut cookie and dang i wish i bought a dozen...

This place is GREAT! They have quite literally everything you could ask for: veggies, fruit, STEAK, eggs, dairy, seafood, etc. And its ALL great. Best steak Ive ever made (something about that cut of ribeye), top-notch lemonade, great farm fresh eggs and the fruits and vegetables couldnt BE better.I wish I hadnt ruined my phone and lost the pics but stopping here improved our vacation! They do the honor system: please be honest!!!

Great place for fresh Veggies and Produce. The Seafood that is available seasonally is always delicious. We stop in at least once a week. Sometimes more. Definitely a favorite.

Stopped in to get my Collards for Christmas and they were the prettiest collards I have seen in a long time.

I love visiting Poor Boys in the summer. They have fresh fruits and vegetables. Prices are reasonable. They also have local seafood, a variety of other things such as cheese, butter, bacon, and milk from a creamery. My favorite products are pickling cucumbers.

Poor Boys is a nice convenient produce, vegetable and seafood market near Elizabeth City, NC. Local grown fruits and vegetables, as well as, fresh local shrimp and fish are available in season. We love their sweet Rocky Hock watermelons!

Love stopping there in the spring, summer or fall. Very helpful and friendly. They have such fresh and tasty produce. Hope they open back up soon!

Top quality food

Very large assortment of locally grown vegetables and local honey. Bought 5 Knock Out roses there this week that were 6 year old roses for $10 each!! Fortunately, we live very close.

Very fresh veggies and fruit. They have seafood, but I havent tried it yet. I do plan to.

Fresh heirloom baby tomatoes in the little baskets are AMAZING. I bought some for dinner and at the urging of the staff member, washed them there and tried one. I ate the entire basket on the way home. I have no regrets.

My husband was working near Elizabeth City, NC the last week in April and I decided to go and visit him there. When I arrived there was a basket full of strawberries waiting for me! I rinsed and inspected each and every one of them and was prepared to have to throw some away that may have been rotted or smashed, but much to my surprise I didnt have to throw out a SINGLE one! I kept them in the refrigerator and they stayed fresh all week right down to the last berry! Very happy customer!

THE ONLY PLACE I GET MY VEGGIES!!! So much flavor in their veggies in comparison to store bought. Always a friendly atmosphere and they are alway helpful if you have any questions. Oh, and you simply MUST try a loaf of their Jalapeño Corn Bread. I usually leave with at least 2.
