I have been to this location twice before for my daughters prom.(both experiences were great)This last time I went it was for myself. I have never worn a formal gown or wedding dress (never went to prom & got married in the courthouse 18 years ago) I was a little nervous shopping for myself! My beautiful niece is having a quinceanera soon and I needed to find a dress! I didnt know my exact size so we guessed! I wanna brag..they immediately helped me..made me feel so comfortable and helped me pick the perfect dress !! DEFINITELY A RETURN CUSTOMER!!

As a first time bride I was so incredibly nervous, but the people at Dream Gowns put me instantly at ease. Ashley helped me and she was so sweet! She listened to everything I asked for and brought me not only things I thought I wanted, but a couple of things out of my comfort zone that were actually beautiful! 10/10 recommend this store to any young brides to be!

The young woman that worked with me was very nice and I had fun. They were polite and she came up with some fun ways to describe some of the dresses. At first I didnt think they had anything for me but once the woman got an idea of what I liked, I had at least 6 dresses to try on, she found the perfect viel, a crown and extra bedazzling to add. If you are looking for a gown for weddings are formal occasions, this is a great first store to start you search for that special occasion. They have a HUGE selection of Gowns at some very reasonable prices. If you know anyone looking for a gown, have them check here first. But dont let the store name fool you.They also have items for men. It is a large selection of all types of clothing. They have some clothing for men as well as some other dressy and casual items. There was a good number of items in various sizes that should satisfy most styles and tastes of outfits. I purchased 10 items for under $75 that would have cost more than double in other stores.Make sure you give yourself some time to look, because it will take you a while to go through their clothing. They have dressing rooms, so be prepared to look, like and leave with several items. I was only looking for a few pairs of dress pants, and you see what happened to me. If you are on a budget, then I highly suggest you start here. You will be glad this was your first stop. Plenty of parking, some meet some friends there and shop together.

I went out of town to get a prom dress and the service was terrible. I decided to go to Dream Gowns and was immediately greeted by Deena. She helped me with numerous dresses and was soooo sweet! I recommended all my friends to come shop here and ask for Deena!

Wonderful selection and super nice staff

The dresses are beautiful and the staff is so helpful and friendly. Yesterday I came in the day of my friend’s wedding being a bridesmaid after I found out the dress I had didn’t work. Within 20 minutes I had found the perfect replacement dress, better than my original. They really could tell I was panicked and rushed and helped me immediately to find a dress. The dresses are a little more expensive but the dress I got was $200 and worth every cent. I want to thank Nicole for all her help because oh man that was a miracle.

Came in for a last minute wedding dress. The lady who helped us said we were “ laughing to much” and not taking it serious enough for it to be an actual wedding. She was acting as if a last minute thing makes it any less important than others. She said she didnt have the time to “play around” so we left. Didnt even try anything on. Worst experience here yet. I have bought multiple dresses here for prom and stuff like that. Very disappointed.

My experience at Dream Gowns has always been more than positive. As a Panama City native, I always try to shop with locally owned stores and businesses. I have been shopping at Dream Gowns since high school so it only felt right to return there for my wedding dress. From the first fitting to the last, I received nothing but amazing customer service which is rare these days. Lindsey was with me from start to finish and always helped ease my nerves and calm me down if I was having a moment. I came in 3 days before my wedding to try my dress on one last time and I kept having to pull it up. Lindsey asked me if I would be doing that all night and I truthfully said yes....So she sewed a new button to make it a little bit tighter. It was a small but time consuming gesture but it made all the difference in my wedding dress. All of my bridesmaid dresses game from Dream Gowns as well and the process was smooth and on time even though some of the girls lived in other cities. I also got my garter and headband from there as well. It is truly a one-stop shop that offers any type of dress you can imagine with the best customer service around! Two years ago I walked into Dream Gowns and purchased my first gown. From the moment I stepped through their door I was pleasantly greeted and treated with respect. Since it was my first time purchasing a gown, I wasnt exactly sure what I was looking for or what would compliment my body type. They were so patient with me and pulled every possible gown I saw. They never made me feel like I was a bother or a novice. Their suggestions of gowns also allowed me to see what did compliment my body type. Since that first gown, I have been back to purchase nine more gowns/cocktail dresses from them. That should tell anyone reading this that I wouldnt trust others for my wardrobe. Their accessories are also something to keep in mind when shopping, I have never not been able to find the perfect earrings, etc., to go with my outfits, whether it be a ball gown or cocktail dress. I am a state title holder and my appearance at events are most important since I am a public figure. I want to thank Dream Gowns for always making me feel at home, always being patient, knowledgeable, professional, and for always having the most updated array of choices.... Its better than a candy store!

I am new to the area so was unsure about where to go to find a formal gown for a Christmas party. When I entered Dream Gowns I was greeted warmly and shown to the area where I could look for an appropriate dress. Courtney was my sales assistant and she was very professional, helpful and patient. I did find a beautiful dress that I will be proud to wear to our first formal event in our new city. I will definitely be back whenever I need another dress.

I went to so many different shops, and my experience at Dream Gowns was incredible! The gowns are gorgeous and you can find them in ALL price ranges. Just be thorough when looking!Tona was the one who helped me, and she was perfect!! She listened very carefully to what I wanted and picked out the mostamazing dresses. She was so patient and sweet. She seemed to truly care about making sure I was comfortable and felt beautiful. And I finally said yes to the dress!! This stop is definitely a must!

If you did not buy your dress from this store, they refuse any services they offer. Such as alterations or even a simple dress steaming. Please understand I would have been more than happy to pay for the alterations and the steaming but the employees would not allow me to make an appointment, they refused to all services since I did not buy my dress from them. This strongly discourages myself from ever wanting to do business with this company. Honestly, having the mother of the bride dress steamed would have take five minutes.

My soon to be daughter-in-law and I stopped here, our first stop for wedding gown shopping...and the ONLY place we had to stop. After GREAT, friendly, attentive, service, my baby girl said YES to a dress! Our helper made sure this possible stressful event was fun, light-hearted, and enjoyable! Another great dress shopping experience! My daughter was shopping for a prom dress, and probably tried on 25 gowns before she found the one! Lauren and MacKenzie were so helpful and did a fantastic job pulling dresses in her style. They were patient and gave much-appreciated feedback on her top choices. They have a huge selection in a big price range, and I love that they help track dresses for each schools prom to try to limit duplication. Dream Gowns deserves more that five stars. My best friend had a destination wedding on Panama City Beach and discovered, when getting dressed, that the corset straps to her dress were missing. We reached out to them and they had several straps to us in less than 30 minutes. She had a perfect sunset wedding. I highly recommend Dream Gowns.

I went to another shop before dream gowns and had a HORRIBLE experience, so walking into dream gowns I was pretty anxious. My consultant was Paisley and she was absolutely AMAZING! I told her what I was looking for and what my budget was and almost every dress she pulled was beautiful. She was extremely knowledgeable and was not pushy at all. She made me feel so comfortable trying on dresses and made my shopping experience so much better with her bubbly and helpful personality. She was tactful and honest and made sure that I found my perfect dress. I found my dress and veil that day and was even under budget. :)

Stephanie at Dream Gowns helped me find my dress. She was very intuitive when it came to figuring out what I liked and didnt like. When I walked in to the store, I had no clue what kind of dress I wanted. I tried on between 10-15 dresses, some twice when it came to narrowing down the selection. Its obvious that Stephanie has experience and shes good at what she does. I couldnt have asked for anyone better to help me. The store has great prices as well, which helps a bride on a budget like myself find my dream gown.

I cant remember the sweet gals name but she took the time to help me find the perfect wedding dress to accommodate some tough issues I had. I went to Dream Gowns looking for The One, and oh boy did I find it. I am a first time bride and have never attended a wedding other the one I was the photographer at. So naturally I was clueless. My fiance (Iknow its not traditional, but I would trust his opinion before anyone else) came with me to help. When I got there and started picking out dresses to try on the lovely assistant Cleo, helped me in and out of about 10 dresses. However, the very first one was The One it just took seeing other options to reconfirm. She also picked fabulous shoes to go with the dress.Everything about my experience there was great! I will definitely recommend them to anyone searching for a wedding dress in all of the panhandle. These ladies have the right stuff.

Came here to look for a prom dress and I was very disappointed. Usually Dream Gowns is my first choice but this time was a terrible experience. The selection of gowns was subpar and very limited. Also, the lady who helped me had me pick out every single dress instead of putting forth effort to help me in my selections. The workers seemed like they did not want to be there and acted as so to the customers. I now will be taking my business to elsewhere.

Not impressed. My future daughter in law called ahead for appt and to ask about a specific dress she had seen elsewhere. It was obvious no effort had been made to find the dress. The whole experience here was like shopping at Marshalls. Check the rack, only try on your size, with very little interaction from the staff. We know nothing about wedding dresses or what might look best in late afternoon sun and evening reception. None of that was even brought up. The girl really didnt keep track of our likes and we had to ask to retry one we liked a lot. About half way thru, another family came in and sat a 12 yo boy on the chairs across from all the dressing rooms. It was most inappropriate. Too bad this is the only bridal shop near her home. I guess we will add the expense of travel for dress shopping to a professional bridal shop.

I went in to Dream Gowns the week between Christmas and New Years to look for my wedding dress. I am a person who shies away from attention, so trying on dresses in stores has proved pretty stressful for me. I went into Dream Gowns not sure what to expect, as I did not have an appointment. I was so pleasantly surprised. I worked with Paisly, who is a ray of sunshine, and she made me feel comfortable trying on dresses in the store. They had so many beautiful dresses, and Paisly was great at learning what I liked and picking out new things for me to try on. I loved a few of the dresses, and their selection was great, but I ended up not buying from Dream Gowns. Nonetheless, my experience with them was so wonderful I wanted to write a review on how great they were. They helped me learn what type of dress I liked, and what looked good on me. I never would have tried a veil if not for Paisly. Thank you guys for everything!!!

I read the reviews on this store and ignored them and went there anyways today. Let me just tell you what a MISTAKE I made. Wedding shopping is suppose to be fun, and your suppose to have a great time, boy did this place just make that wedding disaster story feel like a reality for me. I went there today looking for a wedding dress for my upcoming wedding, like a lot of people I dont have family real close so I take my kids everywhere with me no much of a choice. My kids are very well behaved and very friendly they are 1 and 2 so they have to be in a buggy or a stroller. I first went into the consignment side of the store just too look around and see if I could find some bridesmaid dresses. After looking around I went to wander over to the wedding dress store (separate store im assuming now but are connected to walk right through.) As soon as I got to the door way this lady comes at me telling me Im not allowed to have a buggy in her store, Ill rip her dresses. Just very rude and unprofessional about it, I understand not wanting a buggy in her store but she could have said it in a nicer way. So I just looked at her and said thats fine I will spend my money elsewhere. And turned around to go back out. She then followed me through the store yelling at me telling me that she cant help im not happy with her service, that she never said my kids werent allowed there (which I never stated anything about my kids not being allowed there), continuously all the way out the door she just kept on. I mean this lady just wouldnt stop to save her life (just simply made a fool of herself in front of everybody) I finally had enough on my way turned around and said, Its not very customer service friendly to yell at your customers all the way through the store. And she just stopped and looked shocked. I mean seriously lady I hope you read this and know your running this business (or yours i dont know) into the ground you should be fired (or shut your doors)!!! No one should ever be disrespected like that in a business, and I really do hope no one else has to go through this with her. I can promise you I will never step foot back in this establishment ever again.
