We signed a contract with Mid-South in October 2019 to remove and replace all existing siding, fascia, soffit. They required a deposit of more than $10,000 which we promptly paid.They started the project at the beginning of November 2019. They did not have a dumpster delivered to the job site as is standard practice for a project this large, and supplied a crew of ONE person. After 30 days, we contacted Manager David Williams with the photos below noting that we had concerns that only NINE total pieces of siding had been installed. Two days later, what little work was being done ceased. We sent messages in December 2019 asking for updates and did not get a response. Its been three months since this project started and as of today, the house looks just like it did on 12/6/2019. We are dissatisfied with the services received and Mid-Souths offer to resolve the situation. We feel in order to fairly resolve the issue that we will be required to seek third-party assistance.

Poor warranty. Would not recommend, windows leak on a house I purchased and they installed them less than a year ago and now they wont fix them.Unfortunately, Dave was the individual that informed me they would not do anything about the windows they installed because we werent the owners of the house at the time of installation. If the owner of Mid South Lumber could reach out to me I would gladly appreciate it, please contact me at [email protected]. As a new homeowner and retired service member making Panama City my new home, I would truly appreciate establishing a good relationship with local companies that I can recommend or use in the future.

Great place to get materials.

After calling and verifying they had 3 boards I needed in fact I was told they had 700 of them I proceed to drive to this location just to be told they don’t have any. Thanks for making me waste my time!

I had an estimate already drawn up. I went there to pay and place the order. They were fast and efficient.

Ordered custom size door in March received wrong doors, spoke with Dave and sent all the email correspondence to Dave showing the size of doors that should have been ordered in late June. The difference between the special order and what I was quoted was 28.00. Was told the doors were ordered and it would take 12 weeks to get them in. 12 weeks later nothing was ordered because I did not pay the 28.00 prior to them ordering them. They already had my $175.00 and the rest would have been paid when the doors came. Very poor customer service by Dave which is suppose to be the General manager. Now trying to get my 175 refunded. Would not recommend this place

Order windows from this company they came and installed them had a few problems the screens were all ripped they replace them one of the windows cracked they said a bird hit it or try to make it look like I did it when I called didnt even offer to come down to see what caused it there is a screen on the window impossible for a bird to hit it and crack it it looks like a stress crack and when the window was installed the windows and doors cost me over $10,000 I called and asked what they were going to do about the crack window the guy was very rude on the phone like I said accusing me that I did it I do not recommend this company I will never use them again ps. He said he would get back to me I am still waiting its been over a month

In 2012 of May called and dealt with David Williams. Was very un-professional. Stated he would show up on day 1 to measure the door, never showed. Finally showed and sent quote, wanted to talk with him via telephone and requested this several times through email conversation, he never called. Just wanted us to sign a contract so he could order the door. Told him we would not sign until we spoke. Returned our email basically telling us to take our business somewhere else. Would not do business with them.

They have a trivia question on the board behind the counter and believe he was shocked that I answered it and correctly at that... 😂 The gentleman that waited on me was really nice and helpful.

Better check see if they ACTUALLY have .. wut they say they have.. can not count on them for important materials in timely manner....

I visit this lumber yard weekly but I really cant recommend it because of the attitude most of their guys have. Today I arrive, go to hand my ticket to theyard foreman who was standing around having a cigarette and he didnt even look at me just walked away and said he didnt want that.Im sorry but isnt it your job to take care of the ticket or find someone who can? Or are you being paid to just stand around and smoke all day. Guess Ill be looking elsewhere for supplies. Thanks but customer service goes a long way.
