Terrible service. Really disgusting attitudes. I went here the other day with a 10 ft reserve. They had bigger trucks available so I decided to upgrade. The lady said they dont have a 15 ft but they have a 17. She quoted us the price, and I said well take it. Keep in mind this whole time shes being rude and rushing us. She then proceeds to write up the contract, and gave us the keys. We get outside to our supposed 17ft, but its really small. We like this cant be right. We then go back in and told the lady what she did wrong, she continues to then take the next customer and give away our 17ft truck right in front of us. These people didnt have any reservations. I know because I could hear the conversation. And when we called her on it she stopped talking completely and ignored us. No apology or attempt to make things right. That transaction shouldve never went down knowing we were there first, and that she was made aware of her mistake beforehand. I have never been so angry and disappointed with a random stranger in my life. We ended up talking to someone else. This young lady new what she was doing and got us in a 15 ft. Which means the first lady lied about not having one. It was crazy. And since I probably wont be back to talk to the manager, and since she wouldnt give us her name Ill just describe her. A tall dark skin woman with blonde cornrolls. Yall need to get her disrespectful self out of there.
Returned truck from ohio move and well now got charged 40 for ummmm late fee cause they claim we didnt return truck 3 days later. Shame shame so in I go AGAIN to get my credit...oh BTW did I mention this is from last month move? Smh...
If I could give zero stars i absolutely would. This was by the far the worst experience I have ever had with a moving company. We will never be using u-haul for moving again. My fiance and I had reservations since Friday for a 26 foot box truck. We were called Saturday night stating that we would have to drive from Montgomery to Woodstock for the truck, which we agreed to. Our reservations were changed and confirmed. The following day we were en route to Woodstock for the truck when we receive a call that equipment was no longer avaible. After changing the pick up location several times we were directed to Elwood location which was an hour the opposite direction we were headed. Upon arriving to the location we were told again that the truck was not there. We were directed to drive another ten minutes to a different location for the truck. The result in this mishap was $30 in tolls and $30 in gas just to get our truck by the middle of the day and get home to start actually loading the truck by the middle of the afternoon. Thanks U-Haul for making moving twice as stressful than it already is.
My son and I rented a truck on a walk-in basis. Ben the manager was very helpful and knowledgeable. He explained all details of the rental and helped us get the lowest price. The facility was organized and has everything for helping with your move. It was pleasant to work with Ben helping us with all the details of our needs to move out of state, I appreciate them taking the time to be sure our moving truck was in great condition before taking it on the road trip. Thank you Ben !!!! If we need anything again, we will be back at your location.

WORST EVER!!By far the RUDEST LAZIEST male employees ever.I was on the phone with my mom while she entered this facility to purchase boxes... Dark skinned gentleman behind the counter did not speak nor offer assistance. She ended up asking a light skinned guy with glasses for assistance who told her flat out that he could not load the boxes into her vehicle... didnt even offer to bring them out to her car. I advised my mother to not patronize a store that is clearly unappreciative of their customers but Another customer kindly offered to assist her.We sure as hell did not rent our truck from here and will not give future business to this location.
Tonight upon returning my U-Haul, I received great customer services from a associate nameTakiesha and she helped and made sure my return went very smooth . Thanks and I’ll return to this location in the future !!!!!!!
Today I received some outstanding customer service from Takeisha at thr Uhaul on Western av in Park Forest Illinois....She was very busy in the store and was on hold for over 8mins but she made it seem like 1min.because shes about business and a natural problem solver....Thanks Takeisha you keep performing that way there will be no limitations to how far you can go...Think Uhaul Partner.
The manager is rude and unaccountable, unprofessional and unaccommodating. Ben has no ounce of how to provide good service. Nor is he humble enough to turn a bad experience into a great one. Ego and pride forced him to be an a**hole to customers who would’ve been happy to give him a better review. However, he was not able to redeem himself from his poor behavior and mishandling of our situation. Will never return this location.
I have four separate petty service from this facility. Ben, the manager is rude. His customer service skills need some adjusting.Every time I rent a truck the hours allotted seem to decrease. Twice I have been charged ahead of time for double the rental, if 6 hours.....then 12 hour, but only told that I have 6 hours. Everyone is not on the same page at this place. It took me calling customer service (pleasantly skilled ladies, who showed me general concern) to rectify my situation. This will be my last visit to this particular uhaul facility. Retrain or a new group is needed here.
This is the business I have ever been too! Don’t waste your time here the workers have no common courtesy and talk down to you. I had a U-box delivered to this location and it was delivered to another location because they didn’t have the right machinery which they should have if it’s going to be an access point to receive your box. They also don’t have workers for you to access your box. Today I went to get a few items from the box because I can only fit so much in my car. There were 4 people working and not one of them could get my box for me to take my items out. Also one of the workers had the nerve to tell me that I can’t come multiple times to get my items and that I needed to get them all out at the time I was there. No, I payed for this box for a full month and I can access it as much as I want. I have only came once it’s not like I’m coming multiple times a week. This U-haul needs to hire new people and need new management. It’s a dump of a business it needs a full re-staff and clean of the place!
Twice the same problem at the same location, once for me several years ago, and just now for my friend who I was helping. I called and asked to reserve a utility trailer, the kid said there was no need to reserve it, they have several, just come in. I said that I want to be sure I can get it, are you sure I dont have to reserve it. No, just come in. Well, after the girl at the counter called someone else, and also her manager at home (she said), no one could tell her why her computer wouldnt let her rent any of the trailers that they had. She could only say that she was sorry. We were there for 45 minutes while she was trying. I only live 15 minutes away, so the round trip was only 1/2 hour. So 1-1/2 hour wasted because the young man wouldnt try to reserve it for us. I thought that since it was close to closing time that it would be quicker for him to reserve it than for me to do it on my own. At least my friend was prepared for problems after I told him what happened to me (the exact same thing) while we were driving there. I was at another U-Haul after my first experience, and they told me that the problomatic location was having managerial issues. Now that it happened again, I suspect that this location is their training location. Dont use this location unless you are just dropping off.
Hello Everyone, I decided to leave a review this UHAUL IS THE WORST ONE ON THE PLANET!! I was there Wednesday on the ninth with a friend her plan was to rent a truck until she got startled.From a distance in the lobby I heard yelling so I got shook. Come to find out it was the manager YELLING to an associate from the top of his lungs. To me that is very unprofessional and disrespectful she’s a worker not your child, managers now a days need know the difference. POOR SERVICE!!!!! Highly DISRESPECTFUL!!!
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. If I ever needed to go to Uhaul consistently, I would love to have the same staff help me every time. Very chill and down to earth people.

Stay away from the Uhaul brand packaging and mailing tape. You might as well use scotch tape since this tape is thinner. If youre able to accomplish getting the tape off the roll evenly you need several pieces to secure the box. And by the way, they will not refund your money even tho they are selling junk.

Sometimes they are good and others I dont like the staff. Some are cocky and others are really nice. So go when you can and just hope you get the good crew.
I did the online check in and when I arrived at Uhaul, the whole transaction went smoothly. Friendly,fast service and the storage facility was a secure site. It was also very clean.
Expect to be in line for a long time. The service here is very slow. Also when I went there, the machines werent working so they couldnt print out the contract. I needed the contract number in order to return tbe truck and it took forever to locate the number. The new employee who helped us with the actual truck was very nice though. He showed us how to lock and unlock the back and how to store the dolly when we returned the truck.
Called this place twice for the pickup reservation. When I came here they didn’t have my trailer available. Told me to wait ended up waited for 3.5 hours and no solution. Keep helping other customers and ignored me. Will never come here again or renting a UBox from Uhaul. Others moving services are much better.He asked to see my phone that I really did call them. Show him the phone calls for 2 mins each. He told me that I did not speak to anybody. How is a phone call without talking to any body for 2 minutes.

Ben the rude manger has to be one of the worst managers I have ever spoke to this location refused to take a trailer off my truck because it was put on really tight the only solution this guy gave was come back in the morning. Be warned dude is the worst beware before doing business with them.
Had the most frustrating time just standing in line for over an hour. Customer service was horrible. Will never rent there again. Over 15 people just standing in line for over an hour. Waste if time. So disappointed.
Uhaul thank you for having our truck ready. Thank you for giving us our storage free for 30 days. We didnt need to keep our stuff in storage for the full 30 days so guess what? We NEVER paid a storage fee! The manager at the Uhaul in Park Forest, Il was amazing! Thanks Uhaul for helping us through this mildly stressful time in our family! We are happily moved into our new home!
STAY AWAY!!!! This place is a COMPLETE scam!!!! Heres what they dont tell you (in person, on the phone, OR in the contract): rentals are for 6 hour periods. So, guess what? If you show up the night before they close to get your rental and drop it off when they open, youve exceeded their 6 hour window. You dont know this until youre given a receipt thats double the amount they were supposed to charge you. And when you say anything, its ah....yeah, thats our policy. If you ask why you werent told this, or why it wasnt written in the contract, ah well the call center doesnt connect to the store, so....yeah.... Are you f-ing kidding me? F this place. Completely unethical, total scam, and never coming back here, or any uhaul, ever again.Want to know how you lose a customer base, UHaul? One at a time. Great job.

I’ve uses this location many times, however today there are 15 people in line with 2 cashiers. They seem very nice and courteous, but this is horrible to not have enough staff to move this process along.

Laura the manager is a complete B. No customer service skills, she through my workers cellphone across the parking lot because he didnt get out of the Truck fast enough. Then she called the police and they agreed with us not her. Maybe shes menopausal, I dont know. Or maybe just mental. If I could I would rate this place zero stars instead of just one star.
