Went there the first time with my brother to check out their firearms selection as never been there before. The whole time we were never greeted by any employees there, but they menacingly stared at us making us uncomfortable. Seems like they didn’t want to help us and they made their point and we left. Highly do not recommend this place at all especially if you are not Caucasian. Will never go back.

This is a major revision of a review we posted last week: we rushed in and out of there lat week because none of the staff appeared to be wearing masks and we are seniors worried about the disease. But the place has a great rep locally and we chose to give them another chance. I conferred with the store manager, Jake, who set a mid afternoon appointment with me. He wore a mask . He sanitized my ID and the desktop keyboard before I did the background check input. He kept me away from everybody else. He was courteous, attentive, and very knowledgeable. And boy did I ask him questions. I did buy a weapon, and feel great about the price versus what I saw for the same item on Gunbroker.com. So this place offers both service and value.

Competition is tough in Colorado for a good gunship. Theres tons of options within a 5-10 mile radius. Ironhorse has pretty good service, but the real advantage is the pricing. They charge a little under market and are never far off from r/gundeals rates. I guess Sportsmans down the road keeps everyone honest to a certain degree- but well see how that holds up post Bass Pro acquisition.I will say the ffl price they charge is high, but most people have a good ffl hookup anyways if they buy often and they can definitely make up margins through transfers/shipping.

I needed the sites on my Glock 19 adjusted, they were super nice and did it for me in about 5 minutes at no charge. Anytime I need a gunsmith, they will be my first choice.

Staff dont really care to help, they would rather have conversations amongst themselves. I went in 12/26/2020 to pick up an item I already purchased and they were completely flustered because the fact there was more than four people in line to be rung up at the register. Not to mention they asked me for my ID to verify the item I came to pick up, which is not a problem but this is how they returned my DL ..broken In half....

The whole team took time to make sure I got the correct gun. They are friendly and knowledgeable with great customer service. I would highly recommend for all your needs.

Purchased my first AR and everyone that helped me, showed excellent customer service. Though, I dont know everything there is to know about ARs, I do have experience with a M-16 and other weapons. I was treated with respect and Ill definitely end up being a regular customer, probably more so after this storm settles. I highly recommend shopping here for any weapon.

I have visited the store a couple times and found they have a good selection of holsters and accessories. 2/3 staff were very nice and helpful. One staff seemed exasperated and annoyed with questions, leaving us feeling like we were bothering him by being there.

I really enjoyed this place because of the atmosphere of the store. I had gone to Cabelas earlier to try and purchase a firearm. The staff there was very awkward and unwelcoming. In comparison to that, Todd was very welcoming and persistent in excellent customer service. Im proud to have purchased my first firearm from Iron Horse Armory. Thanks for the great experience, and I will be back very soon.

Today was my second time in the store and to be honest I felt discriminated. Just like the first time I went in it was busy I say around 10-12 customers and I walked the store waiting for help but I figured they are busy so I continued to browse, after about 10 minutes or so it was just me and an older gent who had just walked in as I made way by the counter before I could ask my question they attended the other guy, I mean it was like I was invisible and they attended to him and with 4 other employees no one paid any attention to me. I left and still no acknowledgement. What type of business lets potential buyers just walk out.

Narrow-minded, short-sighted, over-priced and chauvinistic! The windows proudly proclaim family friendly. This is apparently only true if you are male. My husband and I walked in to see what they have to offer. I was excited to see that they carry a decent selection of concealed carry purses. I found one I had questions about, so waited at the counter to ask. While I was waiting an employee walked right passed me TWICE to ask my husband if he needed help, despite me standing RIGHT at the counter with the purse! Walked out and will NEVER go back! They dont need our money!Update 2/1/2010: I find the response below insulting and manipulative. There is only a small handful of responses that are written by a potentially non masculine respondent. That this is one of the few seems rather convenient for the fore mentioned issue of chauvinism. Since Todd was standing behind the counter near where I was standing, cussing up a storm to another customer and beside the employee who was blatantly ignoring me, I cant help but think that this behavior is assumed acceptable at this store.As for whether I am still in the market for a concealed carry purse, the answer is no. I went to one of your competitors and found a beautiful purse that is perfect for my needs at a more reasonable price. The store, full of male sales people, were more than happy to do everything they could to help me and were happy to actually speak to me about a sale, not just my husband. Amazing service! Ever time I walk in Im greeted by some super nice people. No pushy sales people. The guys and gals of Iron Horse are well versed in their craft.So far, Ive purchased 5 guns and so many accessories I cant name them all. They have a great inventory. If youre trying to build an AR or buying your first pistol, these folks can help you through every step.Pistols, rifles and shotguns. Vintage and every modern weapon you could ask for. Patches, clothing and classes....really, what else could you ask for?

You will love this place. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. If they dont have what you need in stock, they will special order it for you. The training classes are reasonably priced and fun. The instructors are professional and patient with the students, answering all questions and providing students with sufficient time to feel comfortable if this is a students first experience with a gun.

Love coming here and shopping. I won’t go anywhere else. They are always helpful and welcoming when it comes to finding the right gun. They have shown great patience when I’m in there looking for my next gun and with my 2 year old running around. Prices are excellent and cheaper than Cabelas. Very poor customer service, was told 3 days on background check, waited patiently for background check. Called to check before close and guy was extremely rude, told me it’s going to be more like 6 more days. Seems like the guy had his own issues. I recommend taking your business elsewhere !!

I like this store and the selection of firearms. There reasonably priced. What I can’t get over is there customer service. They great you when you walk in and are always willing to help you. I took my parents in to look around and they where very knowledgeable for them. They where happy with there experience. And so was I as well. I will be returning to this store. This shop was recommended to me by my brother who shops there regularly. I went in to window shop for a concealed carry pistol and they had a great selection. I let the customer service guy (Josh I think) know that I wasnt ready to purchase anything that day and was just there to look. Quick, busy, and kind. These guys know what theyre talking about, in regards to firearms. If youre looking for a concealed carry weapon, this shop definitely has you covered. Unfortunately I cant say the same for their rifle selection, but that doesnt mean theyre bad. They specialize in pistols from their appearance. I can truly say that this shop is one of the higher quality gun stores that Ive set foot in.

As a woman walking into a gun store alone, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was immediately greeted by Jeremy. He was knowledgeable, listened, and made some great suggestions. He showed me the differences between several weapons and the accessories he felt I would need for concealed carry. Rob also provided input and made me laugh. It just added onto the comfort factor of being in the store.I had done my homework on pricing, and I do not feel that Iron Horse Is out of line at all as stated in other reviews. They had a good selection and in-store inventory for a small, local shop.Todd also approached me and asked if I had a good experience in his store. I could tell that it was important to him. As a former retail and customer service training manager, this really impressed me.I look forward to being a continued Iron Horse customer.

I want to preface, Iron Horse does have a decent selection of pistols and black rifles. Their inventory has grown over the last 5 years which is nice to see. I am a Parker resident and native. I was very upset when Todd (owner) offered to buy my Glock 26 gen 4 with multiple upgrades for what I considered a semi decent price. I was trading in for what would have been my 3rd handgun purchased from Todd himself. I went home to think about the deal with promise from Todd that GM Jake would consider a higher value with a mag carrier thrown in which I offered. I asked to hold the gun and be back at 12:00 the next day. When I arrived at 11:59 as promised Todd was not around and Jake the GM lowered Todds offer by $25. As a businessman, prior firearms industry employee, and local resident to the shop, this is unacceptable. Jake made up some of difference after a hot debate by lowing the value of the new firearm, however, it was overpriced to begin with compared to the 10 mile competition. Im a man of principle, I am bothered by this and am debating continuing to patronize Iron Horse.

I love how people say this store is small like it is a good thing. I counted and they only have about 40 guns TOTAL, almost all black plastic pistols with dust on them, and maybe 5 long guns. I also overheard the 3 employees (who were standing around doing absolutely nothing) talking about how they cant even sell their guns at auction online for way below MSRP. Pretty pathetic. Maybe try actually having some interesting items if youre going to have so few.

Employees do not check if firearms are clear! I was at Iron Horse on Monday 11/18 to pick up an item I ordered. While I was there someone brought in a firearm to sell and they handed it to the employee who looked at it for a few minutes, then handed the firearm to another employee who also looked at it for a few minutes, including pulling the hammer back, then pulling the trigger while bringing the hammer down with his thumb. Doesnt seem so bad so far? Well after about 5 minutes the second employee pulled the slide back and a live round fell out of the chamber onto the ground. The first thing anyone should do when picking up a firearm is checking to make sure it is clear!

Although they’re now under new management, the experience is the same.For the size of the store, they have a great selection and will order you whatever you want. I Sold a rifle to the guys after getting low-balled from several other places, they gave me the offer I was looking for and I ended up purchasing another firearm from them. They even price matched another store. I will most definitely give these guys my future business and recommend them to all my friends within the Parker area.

Do not shop here, over priced and the owner todd charged me $100 for a return that wasnt my fault. I purchased a suppressor, did the tax stamp paperwork in the store and got back an inconclusive after 16 1/2 months. I tried to fix it with silencer shop but they said it would take 12 plus months. I decided not to go through with it and kept todd in the loop the whole time. He sounded sincere up until the time I asked for my refund, than came the 15% return fee and he took off more money because there was a price reduction on that particular suppressor. Dont waste your time or money going here, I would never spend my hard earned money in this gun store. I use (gun.deals) to find the best deals online and you dont need to pay shipping or TAX. Plus Damage Factory in Greenwood offers 4 transfers free with a $25 purchase. And if you miss the nice staff that doesnt work at the armory, guess where they are now??? HAPPY NEW YEAR todd.

Ive been looking for a small revolver to replace my .357 for daily carry. I hadnt been able to find the right balance of weight and size until I stopped in Iron Horse on a whim while running errands. The service was impeccable. The moment the salesman placed the 640 .357 in my hand I new I found the gun Ive been searching for over the last decade. Service was professional, knowledgeable, they asked me different, more poignant questions than the ones asked by the big stores. The staff and owner were friendly, customer centered, and thorough. Prices are slightly higher, but thats to be expected at a small business. As a small business owner myself, I fully understand that while prices may be a bit more, the service recieved is more than worth it. I wont go back to a chain store. I am a woman and I was treated as I would expect to be. As a person who believes in Our 2nd Amendment.

I tried to look at an AR-15 they have and was told it was up for auction online so they couldnt. I then asked about a Springfield 9mm and I was told the same thing. By about the fourth gun it was obvious they just did not want to show me anything. Well mission accomplished, I will never be back.

Recently went to iron horse to check pricing on a m@p 9mm and ending up getting shown about ten other 9mm firearms with info on all of them! It was a much better experience than Ive had at many other places. Staff was extremely helpful and didnt give me a awkward feeling like some places. Needless to say I now have a their sticker on my car and will be coming back to get a glock 19.

Took in some guns I wanted to sell. At the time I was told they didnt have any cash on hand. I called back later to see if I could bring in the guns on another day. At that time I was told they were no longer interested. Strange how the story line changed so quickly.. I would think twice about doing business with them. I would give them a zero rating if that was available.

Went in asked for what I needed and boom right there. In and out minus the browsing around. Very helpful guys. Hope to get most of my gun purchases here from now on.

I came down 3 separate times to try and sellmy fathers rifle. They quoted me a price that Iknew was too high, but hey Im not stupid so Iwas going to take it, but then it was oh wellthe guy who buys guns is not here today, comeback tomorrow. So I did and then it was thatthey were out of business checks. The next dayit was that they werent actually interested inmy gun after all. Needless to say I sold itsomewhere else. This place does NOT buy, andthey should remove that from all theiradvertising.

Went in to check out their bulk ammo prices and quickly found that their so called sale prices are actually more than most other local gun stores everyday prices. When I asked if they price matched the guy behind the counter got snippy with me. Oh well, I will gladly take my business and my money elsewhere.

Called on the phone looking for a specific firearm, Mark told me they had it in stock and had a great price on it. Went to the store with my wife and was in and out in about 45min. Walked into this place, all I can say... I felt like I was 5 years old and walking into my first ever candy store. Except there was no candy. Now Im a grown ass man and traded candy for bullets. Yes sir, Ill be back.

My husband and I purchased a gun online and had it shipped there to receive it. When we went to pick up and the CBI check was going through we were declined. We were shocked the staff there comforted us in letting us know that it does happen often and gave us all the information and necessary paperwork to get our appeal put in and let us know what we needed to do. We called them today to let them know that 28 days later we still hadnt heard anything. We spoke with them briefly and then about 30 minutes to an hour later they called my husband and let him know that they heard from CBI and that everything was good to go! This was such a relief and we were so thrilled with their amazing customer service! They are very welcoming and helpful with anything you need!CALL THEM BEFORE GOING TO THE BIG BOX STORES!!!!! They can get just about anything for you!

Very good experience every time I walk through the door. I recently met the owner, Todd. Very nice fellow and extremely concerned with providing the type of service that reflects my rating. You and your staff nailed it! The gunsmith is very reasonable and skilled. During my last interaction a few days ago, the smith swapped over my mag release for me being a southpaw and it was quick, reasonably priced, and the release runs flawlessly. I won’t share our agreed pricing but it was about 1/10th what I expected to pay. Your opinion may vary on “reasonable pricing” but my expectations met and exceeded. I stop in frequently to view used inventory as I’m just starting my collection and have a strict budget now that the wife let me get my “bnib” firearm. Pricing is again, very reasonable but not leaving too much on the table in the way of missed profits for them. I never feel any pressure to make a purchase and always feel like I’m chatting it up with lifelong friends who also remain professional and focused on helping me with my needs/questions. I can’t say that I recommend only looking here, as I do go to other shops, but, I only spend my money here. They have EARNED every dollar I spend here and have EARNED a lifelong customer out of it. The reviews I have read that are 1 star just simply do not reflect the interactions I have had with the owner, Todd, and his staff. I can’t stress enough how amazing this place is for the firearms community and the city of Parker in which it resides. I’m beginning to ramble now, so I will end with saying that you must stop in and let them wow you for yourself and see that they truly deserve every star I have given them.PS-Todd, the wife loves that Tiffany blue Glock you printed off for me to show her. This used to be the best gun store in the South Metro area until it got taken over by a bunch of condescending rent-a-cops who unfortunately got rid of the original management that actually cared about selling the best guns at the best prices. Now this place is just an overgrown overpriced treehouse.

Terrible service, I stood looking at black plastic gun after black plastic gun - tons of duplicates to make their inventory look larger - and no one even asked if I needed help. You can tell their guns sit and sit for quite a while.

Don’t come here looking for friendly faces or advice. I’m a blue collar American and felt like a total fool because of the way my fiancé and I were treated. I thought by bringing her here to a smaller local store we could get advice on a gun she would feel comfortable using as an everyday carry for self defense. The kid who helped us had tobacco in his teeth and never smiled once. He didn’t offer any advice, he handed her a few guns but never even took the time to explain how it worked. He was looking at the other customers with a look like he wishes he was doing something else. Just rude and unfriendly as they come.We see the state of our country and the dangers we face..You would think that educating the regular people how to use a weapon would be a good thing instead of an inconvenience to a local yocal who couldn’t be any more disinterested as this young man. I own guns and always talked to my fiancé as if I was part of a bigger cause than shooting at paper, almost like a club. Her first experience was anything but fun. She just wanted some help from someone other than her .40 cal hubby who has experience but not good at explaining the details about the different gun types.This place didn’t help me show her that people are friendly and willing to teach her about all her options as a first time carrier, instead was treated like an inconvenience to this young red neck. Horrible! I bet after this countries next big assault people will be ready and willing to educate the average Joe how to protect themselves and someday possible have to defend our great country. But after the dust settles and back to normal the attitude will go back to same old, same old. This is a perfect example on how not to treat your fellow countryman and woman!We ended up going to Centennial-gun club, he’s the one that actually told us about centennial so I guess he wasn’t totally useless! We ended up buying her a S&W shield .380 easy slide. I bought myself a Glock 19 so it worked out in our favor. I guess our thousand bucks wasn’t good enough for these people?Go somewhere else people! They sold and ordered me a handgun that I wasnt looking for. Firstly without showing any details on the handgun to me. My mistake I guess. Then I proceeded to ask if there was anything they could do to help me. I was denied further service.Ill just do business with Pony Express and Franktown Firearms, thank you.

Im a combat veteran did 5 year! And 1 deployment! and because I was Mexican and had a hoodie on I didnt get the same greeting as every other person that walked in after me, I didnt get asked if I needed any help with anything while every other person behind me got asked at least twice! worst place Ive ever been to for customer service never coming back again. Im not asking for any special treatment I just want to be treated like everyone else!

Was looking at their concealed carry classes but found a place RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET that offers the same classes without the macho wannabe tacticool attitude. I wont be back here until they tone down the testosterone.

I went to iron horse looking for a hand gun, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I also took thier ccw class wich rob taught, and was very impressed with his knowledge and teaching methods. forgot my coat at the class wiTch had my wallett in it rob called me and met me to return it. thanks rob you have a customer for life.
