I’ve spent a lot of time here as a customer, and it really is a great place. They fix my ancient bassoon quite frequently. I’m glad we have a local repairman for instruments instead of having to travel far and wide in search for one. They also have a variety of equipment and offer lessons for a plethora of instruments.

Ryan sold me an excellent slope shoulder all mahogany dreadnought guitar. It really is a beautiful example of the streetmaster by Martin.C.A. House of Music is an awesome place to shop instruments. We are lucky to have them in our community!

This is a good place for this community. Be careful on the pricing of products. They are able to charge much more than the actual cost of items due to the lack of knowledge and scarcity of product in the MOV. Otherwise its still a good place to find most of what you need.

After living in a nearby town for 10 years, I finally made a trip to this place...and it was awesome! They had a great layout, friendly staff, and more equipment than expected during this gear drought caused by the global pandemic.I was able to finally strap up a Fender Jazzmaster and compare it against a Fender Telecaster without any issues. The metal-looking mf in that guitar region of the store was exceptionally kind. He gave me space to fiddle around for about ten minutes total but was never so deep in something else that he couldnt answer any questions. I like this spot and will he back. I endorse this location so far.

Took my strat in for fret work and setup with a pickup install. Ryan was super professional in helping me select the right pickup and Sean provided beyond quality work on the guitar. I can recommend these guys enough. Will be a returning customer for sure.

Even though CA House Music is one of the only music stores around, they dont act like you have no other choice... Theyre WONDERFUL.I have a kiddo who wants to TRY to play with the school band. Even though I did not get instrument from them, they happily and quickly inspected it, made some quick repairs, and set me up with the books and cleaning kit. Very polite and professional. Highly recommended. Plus I noticed that they have A HUGE SELECTION of every kind of instrument I could think of. Ill def go there again.

A great music store regardless of what instrument you play. Ryan and Sean in the guitar department are both tremendous. A full selection of percussion, keys, and orchestral instruments as well. CA House also offers repair services, and can get your equipment back in tip top shape without needing you to give them all your money. Seriously, theyre really good.

Very helpful. These guys are in tune with local school band needs. If you have never been here before, it can be hard to find; especially if you are using Google maps. It is way behind the Wendys. Just enter their lot and exit out the back into the C.A. Music lot.

A Gutiar players dream. Literally thats about it. If you play any other instrument youre screwed. The prices are pretty outlandish here. I play drums so I just go in for sticks. Their drums department is small and almost none-existent. The staff here is friendly and always willing to help, so thats a plus. Its not their fault that their prices are so high. I do most of my shopping online for my drum stuff, due to it being cheaper. I recently got a pair of in-ear headphones in here that work great. I needed them sooner rather than later. The same headphones were 20$ cheaper on amazon. I only go here if need be. 3 stars due to friendly staff, and going here when I need sticks. This is pretty much the only music store in my town. So Im stuck with going through them with sticks.

Lots of instruments and accessories to choose from. Staff is really friendly and knowledgeable. They can also fix just about anything musical. I was looking for a guitar and they told me about options and let me play 15+ different ones. Highly recommended for anything musical but their guitar and amp selection is great.

I went into C.A. House looking for some cables for my stereo system (I have an active crossover system so standard RCA cables wont work). They didnt have what the cables I am currently using, but spent the time looking up all my equipment and asking questions to get me something that would work. Cant thank you guys enough for all the time you spent on what ultimately ended up being a small purchase!

This store is my personal heaven, being a musician myself. Every time I go in there, I;m greeted by name, because I go in quite a bit, and I have a friend that works there. The service is impeccable. If one goes in and needs anything; an instrument repair, band instruments, guitars, method books, etc, they will tell you exactly where in the store these things are located, they will get them for you, or theyll even recommend another place to look if they dont have it. They truly care about their customers and they are all very passionate indeed about music and instruments.

I cannot begin to express my level of satisfaction with every aspect of this store. I have been visiting this place from the time I started middle school. Now as a junior in college, each encounter for what has been nearly a decade has been nothing short of stellar. The staff is every bit as helpful, knowledgeable, and professional as they are down to earth. They have always been willing to help and go the extra step to ensure that they provide a welcoming, comfortable environment to shop, relax, and be immersed in music. Especially for the guitar department, the staff is unprecedented and have been much more than helpful to me. I now live over two hours from this store location and I still make the trip back to this spot when I want to shop music. Its a very cool place, amazing selection of every instrument and stage equipment. And they just about have everything that you would ever need. I would recommend going to the acoustic section very large and very nice selection of acoustic guitars. The employees are very nice and very helpful.

Theres no other music store quite like this one. The employees are all very polite, and will do anything to make sure you find what you need. There is a wide selection of all types of instruments and accessories, so youll almost always be able to find what you need. CA House is hands down my favorite place to be.

C.A. House has always been located conveniently for me, but they also have a solid and fairly wide selection of instruments and brands of all sorts of musical gear. I honestly only have had experience with the guitar staff and the drum staff, but my experiences with both have been nothing short of excellent. Ryan and Shaun are always extremely friendly and helpful. I also took guitar lessons from Charlie Read there for three years. I try to buy as much gear from C.A. House as I can because its so nice to have a great music store so close to me, rather than order something from online retailers where I cant try the product first. I have never had any issues with any products I have bought from C.A. House.

Great selection, comparable prices to online shopping (which is rare, even Walmarts in store pricing is always higher than their own website...) but their huge benefit is their people... Great customer service!

Every one will give you a warm welcome, and a always comforting hey whats going on brother from Brian. then on top of the welcome the workers are the best in the area. they can get you exactly what you need or want. they have it all pianos, guitars, band instruments, and sound equipment. Really there is no reason if you need musical gear to go any weir but here.

Great service, good selection. They can order anything they dont have. Also offers lessons in drums, guitar, saxophone, bass, and piano. Band instruments are also available as well as violins, including childrens sizes on violins.

Upgrading from 4 to 5 stars! I have had an Ibanez RG370DX since I was 15, a 20 year old guitar now. It developed a twist and a bend in the neck, the trem and, well everything was off and the PUps were needing attention. I had taken it to The Pied Piper in Charleston, another different store in Elkins and to Showtime Music in the Meadowbrook Mall in Clarksburg. Everyone said they couldnt repair it. It was no good anymore, that I had to buy a new neck and headstock. C. A. House Music looked at it and accepted the challenge. Heck, they only charged a standard setup fee. THEY FIXED EVERYTHING! AND it shreds metal again just like it did over a decade ago. They even got the intonation and action super tight for soloing metal! Polished it, sanded the edges and leveled the frets, balanced the trem, cleaned the fretboard and just overall made my jaw hit the ground! For, I think the cost was $45? (Chime in here C.A.) I was so happy to have one of my original guitars working again that, while I research things like amps and accessories online, I go there to buy if they have it. Im getting ready to buy a new amp here in the next 2 weeks. EXPECT ME GUYS! Last thing, when I was needing to try out some studio monitor headsets, they had what I was wanting to check out (but only in white, sorry guys I got this one online, packaged deal and a discount with the Antlion ModMic 5) and they opened up the box and let me listen and compare them for as long as I needed. I can only speak to about the guitar side, but everyone is nice, courteous and knowledgeable about everything and even know the current inventory/stock they have there. If you are serious about making an instrument purchase... go no further!

Ive went here to buy gifts for my tech savvy other half whom enjoys doing some dj work an what not from time to time the staff is very helpful in finding the equipment he needs, an at decent pricing I wouldnt have known one piece of equipment from another if they werent there my gift probably would not have been such a successful purchase.

3 tries to get a guitar setup. Did a good job. Fixed what was wrong but the PR person can suck it. There is no reason I shouldnt bring a guitar back that wasnt done correctly. Dont worry I wont bring anything else to work on like you asked. Ryan is a good guy, Shawn did good work. PR is out of touch. The first setup was not done correctly. The guitar was not intonated correctly and the nut was not done properly. The nut slots were cut way too deep and there were strings hitting and buzzing frets. I then brought it back after having time to really check it out (new baby 3 days old. Just wanted to get home). The second time, instead of replacing the nut like was discussed, it was then shimmed up and the slots cut even deeper. Making the nut setup still not correct and still with issues with intonation and playability. This was a 3 day old guitar. I wanted it to look right and be done right. I was made to feel bad because the repair tech has never had a problem before. I of course brought it back to have the nut fixed and showed the paperwork from the book of how its supposed to be. The nut slots were finally done correctly and the intonation was correct. The nut does however have a gap under it on one side that is not proper. Will it effect how it plays, probably not, is it the way it really should be, no. I paid $70 for a setup and a nut. I guess you get what you pay for.
