Spent a couple of hours in this nice little shop perusing the wares. The owner was very knowledgeable, and shared a lot of information with me that I found surprising regarding ancient coins. Huge selection, with many things Ive never seen before (but which are now on my buy list). I highly recommend this store to any collector!

This is a great business and the owner, Alex Lynn, is extraordinary. I truly believe he knows EVERYTHING about coins. And I mean EVERYTHING!!! Going there is a terrific education which makes doing business there a lot of fun. I have been there a few times now, selling him most of my father’s coin collection. He is incredibly fair, extremely knowledgeable and a great professional guy….the ultimate trifecta in business dealings. The icing on the cake is he plays (the best) jazz in his store!! What more would you want or need? It is the ONLY place to go to buy or sell coins in Baltimore.

This place is excellent. I had recently been left a collection of coins and tried to do some research on my own. However, that proved to be extremely difficult, even with the help of the red book. I decided to look around for trustworthy and reputable coin dealers in the area and after reading various reviews I came here. This father and son duo has been in business over 50 years and they run a fair operation. After going through every single one of my coins and evaluating them individually, they offered me a price which was higher than I expected after doing my research and pricing out the coins on my own. I couldnt be happier with the results of my visit here. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to get coins appraised or sold. You can also buy coins at this location and they have an extensive collection. However, I am not a coin expert so I cannot provide any more guidance on that subject. Bottom line, these guys are great.

Harford Coin Inc. exceeded the value I had set in my mind after doing research - I had a great experience. I also got the impression if they were not busy I could have asked questions to learn more about some of the coins I kept. My son and decided we would go back just for the fun of learning more.

Greetings from UTAH. Awesome Coin Shop. I ordered a 1770 8 Reales minted under Spain in Mexico. Aside from the coin already being priced very reasonably (on par or lower than ebay auction results,) I appreciated the communication via email. I requested an edge photo of the coin to check for authenticity (guaranteed anyways) and jewelry marks. Alex sent the photos within a few hours. The transaction went smooth and the dealer, Alex, was helpful on the phone. I needed the coin in time for a birthday, and they sent it out the day I made payment. Was here in Utah, 3 days later. The coin is beautiful in hand. Will definitely order from again. Thanks guys, my grandfather will enjoy the coin.
