I normally get my D-E paint from the DIY store but decided to stop by this store as I had some Q. on a special paint for the exterior of my house. Was greeted by an amazing young lady Sam (Samantha) who was really knowledgeable about what I was looking for, got me exactly what I needed and more. Will definitely be back good location and exceptional service will definitely be back.

Painting ciling interior work
One of the worse places, they dont care about the clients time, they take all the worlds time. Big line and tellers doing nothing.
When its open the waiting time is three times more than the other brands stores, and now after I drove here I found out that the store is closed on Friday 8:50 am. It seems that Dunn Edwards dont understand how valuable is our time, thats why I used sherwin williams and Behr for the last 10 years, and I am not coming back to waste time here
I love that they give you free samples of the paint to try versus those little chips that other companies use.

I am Mirandas Painting C33 and I have been doing business here at this location for years. Theyre always working when I show up and welcome those who enter and add to the long line. Very helpful staff and clean environment. Thank you Dunn Edwards Pasadena!!:D
If I can give zero star I would. Save yourself time and go to another store. I called in this morning to ask about the difference between different product lines and which should I purchase. The lady who picked up the phone basically didn’t want to answer any question. She just kept telling me every product line is the same. She is not willing to explain any further and just want to hang up the phone! Wow, how great the customer service is! How helpful it is by telling clients all the products lines are the same. If they are the same, why do you invent so many different product lines? Just 1 product line is enough. Worst customer service ever.
Bad and slow service, maybe not Everytime but my last experience lost 1 hour of my time, waiting for my paint, and after that time I ask for it, and 1 of the guys with an really bad actitud siad that is ready 30 minutes ago, so why they did not let me know, the noticed I m there
Great paint store they will go the extra mile to help you get what you need and all your pay supplies. If you come early enough theyre great subcontractors that work that hang in the parking lot early in the morning. They will get your job done for the right price. The true professionals they know their craft.

They do an awesome job at matching paint. Try placing your order by phone if you know the colors that you want. Helps save you time.

This is a very clean and organized place. The staff is very knowledgeable and they have a department were they can help you with all of your questions on what kind of paint to use and the dezign of your project.
Was just reading all the Bad reviews. These must be from people who just walk and expect to get their paint in 5 min. Thats not how it works people......!! It takes time to mix paint. They just dont have the color you want on the shelf. And if it takes longer then you expected its probably because there are other costumers ahead of you. Your not the only one with painting projects.The staff there are the best and totally go out of their way to make you happy.....!!
Slow service. Took almost 45 minutes to get an 8 oz sample paint. Then there was wet paint on the bottom of the container. Placed it on my passenger seat, and now theres paint on my seat. This store is just bad. The Alhambra one is far better
I walked in and there was no one up front. I went to the manager and he wasnt to thrilled to come help the line of people waiting. Apparently one guy said he order paint several days ago and it wasnt ready when he got there. I called several days later to ask a question it took 3 tries to get someone to answer and when they did they put me on hold for 20 minutes and I am still on hold. I would NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. As one other person said as much as they charge for their paint you think they could hire some staff. The only good thing I can say about the place is when I did make it over there for a refund Sara the manger was helpful.
I wouldnt buy from this location personally. Customer service is horrible and I hope the owner john can fix this. I love the paint. Valerie helped me at the pasadena store. No good service. Hope this review helps

Nice building, but the service is a joke...and so is their product. They sold me inferior paint and even worse primer. We painted the fence this past Spring, and it was peeling by August. A friend of mine who is a professional painter did a free paint job for me as a called in favor, and when he saw the primer and paint DUMB-Edwards had sold me, and said In my 20 years of painting, this is the WORST paint and primer product I have ever seen!. There you have it.Stay away from this place.

For the money that they charge for paint you would suspect that they would hire more employees. If I had to choose between the DMV and Dunn-Edwards, I would choose the DMV because the wait there is shorter.
