I have been taking my 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage DE Coupe since Jay was the owner many years ago. He sold the business but I still continue to go there. The mechanics are very good and so is the Manager David who is also very good and explains everything to me and they are very polite and the prices are reasonable. I will always keep going here without a doubt!! I trust David and the mechanics with my car and my car runs like a dream because of the Meineke guys!!!!

The employees here are amazing! I had issues with my battery and break pads/rotors. I was helped by a gentleman by the name of Wesley. He was extremely polite & very knowledgeable of his work. He (& the other employees, especially Solomon) were very respectful, communicative, patient (I ask a million questions), and diligent. After the work was completed, my car was performing much better. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs their car serviced. Ask for Wesley or Solomon.

Very professional and friendly team here. Explained everything well when I took an old camry in for service with a rattling from the exhaust that ended up being a rusted heat shield hanging off the car. Let me peek underneath the car after all was said and done just to satisfy my curiosity then when I asked how everything else looked, they gave me HONEST advice and possible repairs/maintenance for the future. Been to a few Meineke locations before and this was one of the cleanest and best presented locations I have been to in NJ. Overall top notch work and will definitely return here in the future

I only come here to change my oil. The professionalism is great and they are friendly. The manager in front is great. Answers all questions honestly and with genuine care. They also give you further directions if theres any repair that needs to happen. Sign up with them and you can get coupons.

They stood with my car for about 5 hours and then try to lie and say I need to replace my ac compressor for $888. To fix a ac compressor talking about he can weld it for $817 plus taxtI went to Paterson within 30 seconds the AC mechanic found the problem . It was only a WASHER replacement $100 with 3 month warranty

Very pleased with the service. Was having problems with my truck and brought it in on a Friday morning. Manager said he would take care of it and send me pictures of what was wrong. I ubered home and an hour or so later received the pictures--needed brake pads and fluids. Authorized service and he called me an hour or two after that and said it was ready for pickup. Ubered in later that day and picked it up. Prices were reasonable and the service was very good. Would definitely recommend.

Five Stars for Meineke Car Care Center in Passaic! Im new to the area and found them online with positive reviews so I wanted to check them out. I am so glad I did!!! A couple days ago, I brought my car to have its AC looked at and Hector the mechanic noticed I was leaking transmission fluid. He showed me the leak and explained what was needed to fix it. He suggested I get transmission fluid from the dealership because transmissions can be sensitive. He showed me how to check the fluids and how to put more in if needed. I brought my car back today to have the leak fixed and Hector did an amazing job! He is professional, knowledgeable and friendly! Thank you Hector for all of your help!I also want to give five stars to David the manager! There was a small mix up and he took care of it right away and was extremely helpful and friendly about it. I was seriously blown away and really appreciated Davids professionalism and friendliness! Its obvious that David cares about his customers! Thank you David for your excellent customer service! I am so happy I found this place and I will definitely be bringing my cars back for all future services!

It was a very good experience.

Parts replaced was too expensive even though available at a lower price of equal quality. Parts were broken off the vehicle by the technicians and I was asked to pay for replacement. The bumper was replace haphazardly with screws missing causing it to fall off.

Overall great first time experience @ Meineke! David and the team were great! I highly recommend this place!

Than different never go back there be careful if you bring ur car that store I feel that they played me on the the price.

I did a walk in service but the second I parked my car there was someone greeting me. I explained my situation and as someone who is not knowledgeable in cars they took their time to explain and show me what was going to be changed. Many mechanics would take advantage of someone who has no clue but they assured me of every step and never moved onto work until I gave them the okay. They even recommended me other mechanics for cosmetic help on my car that they cannot preform. Cleanest place around and they lay out their prices fairly. Many of the low stars come from people who arent willing to pay large amounts for car repairs, their labor rates are posted everywhere and I was even given an estimate before they move on. Cars get expensive but for the time and care they put into it it is well worth it. Will come back and recommend to others.

Rudest owner ever! I arrived this shop at 5:15 Friday, 45 mins before closing time. I was told to come back tomorrow morning without even asking what I need. When I tell him to see my car now and tell me if you could install the basic part I have then I will be back in the morning, but he declined again altough it was literally 1 minute work. When I ask to see the manager or owner, he told me that he is the owner and he also approved that they dont need customers. Stay away from these kind of spoilt people.

Don’t waste your time and money. Not trustworthy. Manager tries to lie his way out of everything. Never fixed the problem I paid to have fixed. They switched off the check engine light and said it turned off on its own after they ‘fixed’ the problem. Less than a day after driving the light is back on with the same problem. Now neither the location or customer service will right their wrong. A poor old lady came in and asked about having fluids topped off and the manager told her she needed new brakes without even looking at the car! Taking advantage of an old lady?! That’s pretty low.

This place is the worst. I would give them zero stars if that were an option. I made an appointment and specified that I wanted the synthetic blend oil change package. When I got there I said that I had an appointment for the $35 synthetic oil change, and he said he had my information from the online form. They gave me the full synthetic oil (which cost around $30 more), but I didnt say anything as I figured that this oil would be better for my car. In reality you dont need full synthetic unless your car is 10 years or has 75,000+ miles. My car is 3 years old and has 19,000 miles. This was all fine until my check engine light came on the next day. I then took my car to another shop; they opened the hood and the oil cap was off, oil had sprayed everywhere inside the hood, and there was a big pool of oil on top of the engine. I then had to pay $30 at this place for them to clean everything off and top off the oil which was low at this point. It was just horrible to have to pay for an extra service when I already got ripped off in the first place! You would expect a place that specializes in oil changes to at least be able to put the cap back on after an oil change.

Awesome place to get your cars repaired or even checked. The wait times can be quite long, however the satisfaction assurance is guaranteed.

I have been there twice for two different problems on my car. The first time I went there, it was for my exhaust system; and the second time I went there, it was for my brake/wheels. The staffs there are very honest and knowledgeable. They were able to identify the actual issues, told me what needed to be done, and then fixed those issues very quickly. Overall, I have very good experience during both visits, and I will definitely come back again if I have another problem with my car in the future.

Brought my car here for an oil change! Basic right! An hour later my check engine light comes on! Prior to the oil change. I had zero lights on my dash. The next day my car wont start! Called them upto let them know what happened..an employee told me it could or couldnt happen! No accountability!

My radiator was old, and it also had a leak so I changed it here. At first everything seemed fine, but my car over heated coupe days later. When I added the antifreeze, the leak was there still, They charged me for filtering the radiator and the water was still dirty. Not only that they loosened all my cables in my engine that would make my transmission fail. These guys are negligent or committing fraud. If you do not know about cars do not go to them, they will take advantage of anyone

They fixed the exhaust on my 96 Ford Ranger cheaper than if I did it myself. Incredibly professional job too! Definitely will be back for more service.

Please be very careful dealing with these people they are Overpriced and will jerk you on them prices.Last year my fiance turned in her car to have her air conditioner fixed these guys broke a piece of the plastic vent, the AC worked for 2 weeks then it started giving warm air, paid $222.00, we brung it back to have it looked at and the guy tried to charge us $174.00 for a leaking hose, my fiance gave it to her mechanic to look at, he says Meineke tried to bill you for no reason, your AC needed gas in its tank, nothing more..

You will not get the services you pay for. Got the synthetic blend package which is suppose to include, tire pressure check, top off fluid, 24 hour roadside assistance, brake inspection, and a 23 point inspection. None of this was done or even mentioned to me. Less than a mile after leaving the shop tire pressure light came on, call owner about it and he said he saw his employee check all four tire pressure. Went to honda immediately and had them check and my driver side tire was almost 6 psi lower than the rest. Tire pressure was never checked like they said it was and everything included in the package was not performed except the oil change and tire rotation (which I had to specifically ask for) Very shady. Do not trust.

Only place I will take my car to get fixed. Have taken it to other Meineke locations and shops and the service doesn’t amount to what I receive at the Passaic location. Abdul was great in explaining the issue with my car in a language I could understand and it was a great experience.

I used to go to Meineke in Passaic for 15 years, when Jay was the owner. He always fixed my car issues and never screwed me over. Never had to return for the same issue ever. I took my car here not knowing the original owner Jay sold the place. Wanted to check my car for shaking over 60 mph and light on the dashboard. they came back and told me that i needed breaks and wheel alignment and balance, I paid over 700$, I drove the car the next day on the highway and the car was still shaking, i bought the car back to find out they never did the balance, the new owner tells me the mechanic must of forgot to do it. he promised to fix everything. I left the car for hours and picked it up drove it in the highway and the shaking and the TPMS light was still not fixed. I realized I got screwed over and never returned. this happened ending of summer 2018. reason why Im writing this review is that I found out they screw over a few more people I know. Im not one to write bad reviews, but this really disappoints me when people who Dont have much get screwed over, From a place that had such a great reputation. Jay should have closed it down not resold it. FYI! Always check reviews where people have plenty of reviews, places have a tendency to pay for reviews that are not real.
